Excellent tour, incredible human quality
5/5

Where to start? I can gladly say the 8-day tour we did with Africa Uncovered Safaris has been one of the best experiences in my life. The company is relatively new, but they are a great group of professionals. Archie was very informative via email since we contacted the operator and it facilitated things, bookings, etc. Tafara was our guide and we are extremely happy to have enjoyed an incredible experience with him. We shared many beautiful, mystical moments with him. He is always smiling, laughing, joking, a good driver and he is very flexible with timetables. Our tour started in Victoria Falls and Zambezi river, then we moved to Chobe, Elephant Sands, Okavango Delta, Makgadikgadi Salt pans and then back in Victoria Falls. I really reccommend this 7-8 day experience as you can get to see lots of animals and have a general idea of the main natural parks in Botswana. The quality of food in the different lodges was quite good, plus the accommodation was great. The tour we chose had a final price of ca. 2700 USD, which is a good quality price for what you get. We have been really lucky to see the majority of the animals in the different game drives, natural parks, even on the main roads. I can perfectly say we have seen >200 elephants, many hippos, jirafes, crocodiles, zebras, many types of antilopes, tens of birds (including vultures and eagles) species, wildebeests, a few lions and a leopard (in Chobe), rhinos (in Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park, Zambia). The majority of the wild life you will see in Chobe, so I really reccomend doing all possible activities in that immersive natural park. The Okavango delta will bring a great experience with locals that use mokoros and the landscape is stunning. Salt and Elephant pans are magical places. I really reccomend doing Devil's pool as an optional activity, what an adrenaline shot! This is overall an experience that you cannot miss if you are fan of nature, animals and want to see how Safaris work. We will repeat for sure in the future!

Fantastic experience
5/5

We went on a one night Masai Mara trip. It was an amazing experience. We had a nice group of people coming with us, and a great driver. The lunch on the way was nice. We got to our accommodation which had lovely staff. Then the drive around the safari was such a fantastic experience- with only 3 hours we saw all the animals. The driver was very attentive and explained everything to us and made sure we don’t leave the safari before seeing all the main animals. It was super fun experience and I recommend !

A lifetime experience
5/5

Could definitely say me and my husband had a lifetime experience with Hermosa Life Tours and Travel for 10 days. Should say I am quite demanding and picky on details person but from the first email it was a pleasure to have a deal with Hermosa. All responses were informative, quick, changes adopted to the itinerary without any mistakes, solutions were needed proposed or explanations how to improve it given. The team looked professional. Although I still impatiently waited for our meeting day as sometimes communication through emails goes well but in live the experience disappoints you. Glad that this was not the case. Our driver/guide and actually a friend after all this time spend together in Rwanda Abou turned to be an amazing person. He was very polite, helpful, informative (my husband even made a joke that by leaving Rwanda it seems like we know about the country more than about our homeland), always asking for the feedback about tours, hotels, food, if everything went well. You could definitely start to feel like you visiting a friend in Rwanda who wants to show the best of his country. Moreover I could say it was interesting to have discussions on different topics with him and even learn some things from this man. If knowledge is a treasure of a wise man than Abou is a rich man. Finally, we were also surprised by the country, how clean and safe it is, by some actions taken by government and people that could be an example for the rest of the world. It is not the first country we have been in Africa so I was quite shocked as Rwanda really looks and feels different in a good way. Anyway highly recommend Hermosa Life Tours and Travel and if you want the best of it ask for Abou :).

The big five with professionals
5/5

We spent 4 wonderful days on safari. Everything was perfectly prepared, in accordance with our arrangements. Josephine is very communicative and professional in what she does. Solid and unobtrusive. We had a great guide with whom we felt safe and could see everything we dreamed of. We will definitely come back.

Tanzania, the great migration and Big 5 ✅
5/5

Top of my bucket wish list was to follow the great migration, particularly the Mara River crossing, and seeing the big 5 in the wild.
My son and I recently returned from Tanzania after being guided by Solomon from Zohar African Safaris. Solomon certainly knows his trade, and he answered the many questions fired at him with detail and authority. He is Incredibly knowledgeable not just about all wildlife animals, but also on birds and trees. Solo is clearly a huge lover of the great outdoors, particularly anything around wildlife.
Our personalised agenda took us from a fantastic day in Tarangire National Park, up through Central to North Serengeti and the Ngorongoro Crater. There were too many extra special awesome memories to list, but include very close encounters with adult and baby lions, mother & baby cheetahs (including the mother jumping on our jeep for a better viewpoint), elephants protecting babies, giraffes fighting, wildebeest, zebras & buffalo galore. It was more challenging finding leopards and black Rhino, but Solomon didn't disappoint with two sightings of leopard including one with babies, just a beautiful sight to behold, and several Black Rhino sightings in Ngorongoro Crater. It was such a great pleasure learning from Solomon and generally getting to know him as a person, whom we now consider to be our friend. We would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Zohar African Safaris to anyone, safari novices like us or seasoned regulars.
We successfully achieved our mission, seeing several spectacular Mara River crossings and the big 5, I really couldn't ask or wish for more.
Zohar also worked into our incredible 7 day itinerary an early morning hot air balloon experience, which was simply stunning and an absolute must-do on your itinerary.
Our sincerest thanks to Lilian for putting together a totally bespoke and very personalised itinerary, including the 6 different camps/lodges, each offering something very unique but always with warm welcomes from such happy friendly porters, staff & chefs, pretty much faultless in my humble opinion. The overall experience far exceeded our hopes and expectations, and particularly Solomon the legend, we will be back for another safari with Zohar soon.

Exceptional
5/5

What an extraordinary experience. We were cut off from the world and civilization for 5 days to discover the animals in their environment. It was incredible. We saw a great diversity of animals. Easy Travel and our guide Maila were extraordinary and accompanied us very well throughout the stay.

Shadow of Africa is a good and responsible agency and their guides also give us an unforgettable exp
4/5

The Shadow of Africa provided us a great experience for the whole trip. Starting from the planning, their staff, Karen ,drafted our itinerary based on our needs and budget. She also provided many useful information, including the latest situation of Kenya and Masa Marai before trip which eased our concerns.

During the travel, we met two guides, Johnson and Edwin, in Kenya and Tanzania respectively. Both of them are professional and knowledgeable to share their fruitful information to us during the safari. They are very friendly to us. Under their guiding, we have collected all the big 5 and witness the crossing during our journey!

However, we wanted to express that the condition of the safari vehicles could be improved. The sockets in one of the car were found not working while the other safari car has a technical issue that it need to be repaired 3 times throughout our journey in Tanzania. One episode also costed our time of safari for 2-3hour. We provided our feedback to the staff of their company. Their representative conducted an evaluation with us to listen to our feedback at the end of the whole trip (which we really appreciated) and they also apologised for the car issue to us.

To conclude, Shadow of Africa is a good and responsible agency and their guides also give us an unforgettable experience for our first safari trip. Despite of some technical issues of the vehicle, it is still a really good choice for your safari trip.

Incredible guide and team on Kilimanjaro
5/5

We had an incredible time with African Big Cats Safari in Tanzania! We did a 7 day Kilimanjaro Trek and then a 6 day safari. Imran and his team (our Kilimanjaro guide and crew) particularly impressed us, as they went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and very well taken care of. We felt like we were all good friends by the end of the trip, and the team took the time to patiently teach us some Swahili. Isaiah, our "waiter" and Elias, our assistant guide, were incredible kind and attentive to us. Our chef, Tosh, was incredible and even accommodated my gluten-free diet, we were always surprised by how much food we were served and how creative they could be on the mountain! The team worked so well together and was always so cheerful to interact with- we could not have made it to the top without them!

We also had a great time on our safari- we saw all the animals we were hoping to see and even lucked out by seeing the great migration in Northern Serengeti. The accommodations were all comfortable, we particularly enjoyed Embalakai Tented Lodge in the Central Serengeti, where you can sit on your private porch and look for animals. All interactions with the office for African Big Cats Safari were great, they were very responsive to emails during the planning process and answered all of our questions promptly.

First of all, I wanted to thank Wild Media Safari for this unforgettable trip. Everything was perfect. The agency listened to our every wish and prepared a tailor-made trip for you. And all this for a reasonable price! And I would add a special mention for our guide Cornel, who introduced us to his region and his passion with good heart and professionalism. I recommend 100%!
