Professional, local and very close to the client
5/5

Amazing experience with Shengena and especially with our guide Stanley ! Ask for him if you plan to do a safari, best guide in Tanzania.
He is a local and knows perfectly all the national park and his town Arusha.
He also has a perfect knowledge of all the animals and he is very passionate. He has shared so much information about all the animals. He knows perfectly where to find them and he has the sight to see them when he is driving.
We spend 6 days with him and he is a friend now. Always the smile and happy to make us discover a lot of part that no tourist normally goes.

It was an amazing experience with him, we saw all the animals that we were looking for and we discovered the amazing city of Arusha, his hometown.

Thank you Stanley !

Destination Specialists sets the gold standard
5/5

We want to extend our biggest thank you to our guide Mr. Pendaeli and our driver PJ from Destination Specialists who made our safari special and memorable. We had the most amazing time on this tour. We took a 4 days customized trip with Destination Specialists in the end of August. We wanted to see Tarangire, Lake Maniara, Serengeti and the Ngorongoro crater. Pendaeli was highly responsive, professional, organized, able to answer all our questions, accommodate all our needs and everything went smoothly. We were asked by Mr. Pendaeli if our trip is Anniversary or Birthday one and also what we would like to drink. Our itinerary was very well planned. Mr. Pendaeli was into all details. Even though the pick up from the airport was not included in our itinerary Mr. Pendaeli and PJ came to pick us up from the airport and welcomed us with Maasai shuka. We had a free day before the safari and Mr. Pendaeli offered us a one hour and a half Arusha tour free of charge. While other tours offered boxed lunches, Destination Specialists went above and beyond and provided us with hot meals throughout the day. There was a water bottle in our seats every morning. We were surprised with decorated rooms for our wedding anniversary and treated with cakes, champagne and wine. The guide Pendaeli always made sure we felt happy and safe. We were thrilled to spot a wide variety of wildlife, including the rare leopard and rhino, thanks to Pj’s incredible knowledge, skill and great eye. We’ve seen all the big 5 plus many more.
Destination Specialists sets the gold standard. From the airport pickup to the drop off at the Kilimanjaro airport from the hotel at the end of our journey. Whoever wants to see and experience Tanzania at its very best should travel with Destination Specialists.
We wholeheartedly recommend them with no hesitation.
Asante Sana, Hakuna Matata, Pole Pole :)

Extremely helpful and well organised
5/5

Suricata Safaris were so helpful start to finish, they organised travel for us from the airport, arranged our nights stay in a lovely hotel and then collected us the following morning to start the safari, the group we were with were all really friendly and our driver Simba was great. Chuke did our briefing before and after the safari and was really helpful and great energy and even helped organise us transport back to the airport too.

Smooth communication
5/5

The communication with them was very easy and smooth. They found a spot for me even just one day before the trip. I didn’t have any problems and had a great safari trip.

Very professional. Very thorough. Provided exactly what we were looking for.

Hi Rose. Ian and I had the holiday of a lifetime, staying at Sunari, Samburu, Richard's River Camp, North Mara, and White Sands Villas, Zanzibar.

We learned so much about the way of life for the Samburu people through our excellent guide/driver Simon. He could spot a cheetah hiding in the grass from a mile away. It was a privilege to spend many hours with him learning about his tribe of people and their customs and enjoying the wildlife. Saruni itself was beautiful. The food, service, and accommodation are first class. How they get such fresh food, to such a remote location is incredible.

The abundant wildlife and friendly atmosphere at Richard's River Camp, made it a must to return to one day. We had as much fun with the Managers, Guides, and Staff as we did observing the wildlife at close quarters. The accommodation and food were excellent.

White Sands Villas is probably one of the most beautiful resorts I have ever been to. The beach is an empty paradise, but Kite Surfing and other activities are readily available. the food and service was first class.

In addition, all the transfers and travel arrangements were perfectly executed, which made the whole visit stress free.

Rose we want to thank you and your team for selecting such beautiful and memorable places for our incredible holiday in Africa. We would not hesitate to recommend your company to other travelers.

Kindest Regards

Ian and Ania

Efficient & well organised!
5/5

I recently went on a 3-day, 2-night safari with my wife, and it was an unforgettable experience, thanks to Greg Adventures. From start to finish, everything was seamlessly organized for us, allowing us to relax and fully enjoy the adventure. Our driver and guide, Machete, was truly exceptional. His deep knowledge of the wildlife and the environment, combined with his friendly demeanor, made the trip so much more engaging and insightful.

We were fortunate to see an incredible array of animals—everything you could ever hope for on a safari! While we didn’t spot any leopards, we know that’s part of the unpredictability of nature, and it didn’t take away from the overall experience at all. Overall, we had an amazing time and would highly recommend Greg Adventures!!!

Perfect planning and execution for us to enjoy the most amazing 10 day luxury safari
5/5

I booked a 10 day Tanzania and Kenya safari with Serengeti Clarity for my parents (age low 60s) and my husband and myself (age low 30s). They did an absolutely amazing job and we had the best experience working with them. My parents said this was the best trip they’ve ever taken because it was such a rich experience. When it comes to everything you would care about for a trip to Africa - safety/security, thoroughness, learning, comfort, ease, thoughtfulness, cost - Serengeti Clarity does it all top notch.

Tour Operators: The tour operators handle the communication and coordination of your trip. I thought I was primarily communicating with Frank the whole time, but upon arrival learned that they have a team (Peter and Masai) who help to make communications perfectly seamless and to ensure that you have a good response time. This team is great. First of all, they respond so fast. I remember there were times where I’d get a response from them and I’d check the local time and it was 4 am their time. Second of all, they are super accommodating and great at personalizing your trip to exactly how you want it to be. I changed my itinerary a bunch of times, and they made sure to accommodate every detail, whether it be adding new excursions, changing routes, upgrading accommodations, etc. They created a personalized 20+ page itinerary for me that I basically used as my bible. It had so much detail that when I was applying for my Kenya visa, it was so easy because all the information I needed (about things like which border we were crossing in from) were already included! Third of all, they really go above and beyond to ensure that you feel really comfortable about your trip. I have 2 really great examples of this. I put in the incorrect birth country when applying for the Tanzania visa and I was super stressed about this and whether they would be allowed in the country. I tried contacting the embassy, but they weren’t responding to emails. I messaged our Serengeti Clarity tour operators with my concern, and although this was totally out of scope for them, they went and called the embassy from their side to help assure us that there’d be no problems on entry! This really gave me peace of mind prior to us flying in. The other amazing above and beyond thing they did was really make sure our accommodations were to our expectations. I wanted this trip to be extremely enjoyable for my parents, so I was looking at 5 star accommodations for my parents. Serengeti Clarity operates out of Tanzania, so they really know Tanzania the best. Since we were also going to Kenya, Frank actually went to Kenya to check on the quality of the accommodations there to make sure they were up to our expectations. He ended up deciding that we should try some different accommodations because he felt the original ones needed some renovations. And I’m SO glad we took his advice and changed accommodations per his recommendations because we absolutely loved our new Kenya accommodations. I was really so impressed by the thought and care that went into planning our trip for us. Lastly, I want to mention cost. My family and I did what we considered a luxury safari where all the accommodations were extremely nice, 5 star level hotels. I actually first looked at how much it would cost me if I were to book everything on my own, just to have a reference point. Honestly, if I had booked everything on my own, I would have had to spend a few thousand dollars more per person. Serengeti Clarity not only booked and planned a seamless trip for us, but I feel they passed on a lot of savings down to their customers.

I’m honestly so thankful for the Serengeti Clarity team and all their thoroughness and thoughtfulness that went into planning my trip. I normally plan my trips on my own, so I have very high expectations, but Serengeti Clarity met and exceeded all of them. Oh, bonus, when we arrived, they gave us paintings and safari hats to welcome us. It was very sweet!

Next, Tour Guides: We went on a 6 day Tanzania Safari with Kelvin from Serengeti Clarity and a 4 day Kenya Safari with George from MeekTrails (partner tour company on the Kenya side). Both our guides were absolutely amazing. They actually had slightly different styles, which worked out really well! Kelvin was like your new best friend and family member as a tour guide. We could tell he cared deeply for us, and he made us feel so comfortable from the very start of our trip. At the end of our 6 days, my dad was actually best pals with Kelvin, which is really impressive because my whole family is really quite shy. He also hustled to get us to see all the things we wanted to see and checked off a bunch of things from our list - his expertise and decision making really allowed us to experience Tanzania to the fullest. George was the perfect role model for an extremely professional tour guide. After more than halfway through our trip, we were pretty tired, but he helped us close out our trip in leisure and comfort. Both were excellent and exactly what we needed in that moment. After being with both of them, I have SO much respect for our tour guides and all the skills they have that make them such amazing guides.
First of all, endurance - they drive for 10 hours straight every day, they’re normally ready before us and they spend the night cleaning the car too and preparing for the next day. George never let any of that tiredness show, I don’t even think I saw him use the bathroom the entire time we were together. I was kind of shocked out the level of professionalism and service.
Second of all, expertise - they’re so knowledgeable about all of the animals, history of their countries, culture, science, etc. My dad has a PhD in biology, but he was thoroughly impressed with how much both guides knew and he was so excited to get to learn so much from them. It was not easy, I’m sure, for both guides, but both easily held long, in depth, detailed conversations with my dad and really taught all of us so much.
Third of all, care - it was so clear how much the guides cared about the community, the parks and animals, and their clients. We would constantly witness Kelvin picking up after others, noticing other tour’s safari truck doors not fully closed and closing them for them, chasing away animals that stole food from other groups, and just overall spreading good cheer to everyone. It’s just so nice being around someone who genuinely cares for other people and the world.
Fourth of all, great driving skills - our drivers had to go over rough terrain, driving through rivers sometimes, and even navigating city traffic. They could do it all while still making the drive extremely comfortable and pleasant and safe.
Lastly, attentiveness and detail - while navigating the tough terrain, they managed to still spot animals before us. They always figured out how to get us to bathrooms or comfortable places to pee throughout the day. They watched our energy level to see if they should maximize our viewing or let us rest. They always had maps in their head on how to get us to where we needed to go (they didn’t use GPS at all…it was crazy).

Honestly, I am seriously impressed with our tour guides and how many skills they had in order to give us the most memorable experience and take such amazing care of us.

I hope you find this review useful and I hope you book with Serengeti Clarity. The team is amazing and we could not have had such an amazing experience and journey without them.

A wonderful safari experience and a very professional service.
5/5

My wife and I had a fantastic provate safari with Meru Slopes!

Our driver/guide (Santaely) was patient, professional and dedicated to making sure our needs and requirements were met. After Turkish Airlines failed to put our bags on the plane, our guide helped us buy new clothes locally and Meru Slopes drove our bags to us after Turkish Airlines finally transferred them - this was very much appreciated.

We saw the "big 5" and the "ugly 5" and took home memories that will last a lifetime. I would certainly recommend Meru Slopes for your Serengeti safari!

Ali kept in touch with us throughout our travels with all of our concerns. We already have our next vacation booked with Bobby Tours, Arusha. The guide, Jumar Solemani, was superb and took the extra time to answer our endless questions. Thanks to Bobby Tours Travel and especially Ali, a true caring and expert professional.
