Well organised, efficient tour operator who gave us a magical safari experience in Tanzania
Takims Holidays gave us a superb safari experience through the Northern Safari Circuit in Tanzania and a fun few days relaxing in Zanzibar. As six women friends travelling together with ages ranging from early fifties to 77 years' old, we had a bit of trepidation booking the safari. We needn't have worried though as everything was taken care of with effortless efficiency and great humour. Our driver/guide Raj was amazing and with his 'magic hat' and eagle eye introduced us to the natural wonders and wild animals of East Africa. It was a wonderful experience and I just wish we could do it again!

2 day Safari from Zanzibar
Communication was good all the way up to the safari through WhatsApp. We were picked up from our hotel then flew from Zanzibar. Our bags were looked after for the two days we were away. We took a small Cessna which was exciting in itself and landed on a dirt runway where Eli our guide for the next two days was waiting. Eli took time to get to know what we wanted from the experience and although he made no promises, he delivered both days, Lions, Elephants Hyenas, Buffalo, Giraffes, Hippos, Crocodiles. Eli was great throughout, full of knowledge and tracked far and wide to find what we wanted to see, he adjusted the days to fit around us.
We also did the sunset cruise on the river where you can see plenty of crocodiles and hippos then a beautiful sunset.
The accommodation was great, food was good, far better than I expected so remote and staff were wonderful. All in all an excellent experience that I would recommend!

A experienced Guide who takes care of the customer.
As a couple, we booked a 6-day safari from Arusha. Joseph Temba, our guide, welcomed us very friendly and competently on the first day. We quickly became friends and went to the first national park, Tarangire National Park. Here our guide was able to spot the first animals from a great distance. A remarkable achievement when you see it live!
We then went to Lake Manyara National Park, which was completely different in terms of flora and fauna. Simply unforgettable moments that we were all able to experience together. At this point, it should be said that Joseph was always on time and the car was cleaned every day.
Over the next few hours, the roads became what we would call a “massage road”. You can get the feeling that the guides are driving too fast, but that feeling disappears after 30 minutes. They drive faster on the bumpy roads so that you don’t feel every bump. That was okay for us after a short period of getting used to it. We always had the feeling that we were safe and had a good driver.
Finally, we went to our highlight park. The Sergengeti National Park. We were able to see almost all of the Big Five in two days!
Of course, luck is also involved, but the guide's ambition was noticeable. I proposed to my girlfriend here on the second day. Our guide took care of everything, like organizing the flowers in the national park, the champagne, baking a cake and organizing a singing performance. That was extraordinary and unique. We say thank you for this effort!
Lastly, we were in Ngorongoro. We were able to see a rhinoceros. That fulfilled the Big Five.
All in all, an experienced company that goes the extra mile.

Wonderful trip with our very good guide Kefas
We planned our trip 6months before coming, and they were very helpful to plan our trip the way we wanted it! Very reactive in communication both before and after the booking as well as very flexible. You get what you payed for in terms of accomodation.
In terms of the tour itself we were very lucky to be accompanied by an excellent guide Kefas. His knowledge is top notch and you will get plenty of explanation, he also knew all the good spots to find the animals we all come for on a safari! Full bingo card for the big five and the big cats Tanzania has to offer.

Gifted African Adventures exceeded every single expectation. Hiking Mount Kilimanjaro had always been a lifelong dream. Gift organized everything for me and made the trip an unforgettable experience. The planning process was extremely easy. Gift provided me with a detailed and custom itinerary that helped me prepare for the trip. He arranged for transportation to/from the airport and helped me arrange lodging.
I chose the Lemosho Route. The Lemosho route allowed me to adjust to the changes in altitude and it also provided beautiful scenery. The hike took me a total of 8 days; this included reaching summit and hiking back down. During the hike, the team made sure that I had everything I needed. The accommodations were very comfortable (for being on a mountain) and the food was also very good. The staff were all very professional, kind and knowledgeable. They always made me feel safe and were also always very encouraging.
Hiking Mountain Kilimanjaro was definitely not easy, but Gifted African Adventures made it possible for me! I would definitely recommend them for any group of people (and even solo hikers) that are planning a trip to Mount Kilimanjaro.

Fantastic South Africa Trip Surpassed all Expectations!
Our agent Anya was such a pleasure to work with from day one. She started by helping to educate me about South Africa, areas of interest, game lodges and all the many choices that were available to us and staying within our price range. Our entire trip covered 3 weeks with stays in 3 lodges (Madikwe, Lalibela, and Oceana Reserve) and 3 city stays (Johannesburg, Cape Town and Hermanus). Anya was very easy to connect with via email and phone pre trip and WhatsApp once in S. Africa. Every single arrangement and transition went just as she promised. Meet n greet at airports, transfers between lodges and hotel, and all tours. When we do return to Africa I will be working with Pembury and Anya. I cannot recommend her highly enough for any Africa trip.

Unique safari experience
We booked a 6-day camping safari with Emanuel.
Everything was perfectly organised, from the pick-up at the airport, the stay at Emanuel and Rebeca's home before and after the safari and, above all, the safari itself. Our guide Emanuel told us a lot about the country, its people and animals and always knew where the animals were. Thanks also to Dulla our cook for the good food.

Excellent organization
I had 2 full day safari in Krueger National Park. Eddie the "happy chappy" was an excellent guide and we saw the big 5, the ugly 5 and many others!!! Wonderful experience. Thanks Eddie!
