Outstanding Safari With Leopard Tours
On my recent safari in Tanzania we had the best drivers/guides that one could ask for, Victor Kombe & Julian Monesi. They provided us with the best service by being professional, friendly & very knowledgeable. If I were take another safari or recommend guides, I would ask for either one of them. Victor would be my choice as he was our driver/guide. Super individual! I can't say enough about them, especialy Victor.
Oh, by the way the safari was the most incredible trip of a life time!!!

Booking Mama Savana was the best decision we made
We did a trip with 2 couples, 4 individuals in September 2024 to Kenya and Tanzania. Choosing Mama Savana for this trip was the best decision we could have made.
Prior to the trip, Alex was so responsive to all my questions. When we had to change our dates a few months before the trip, Alex was able to accommodate our request without hesitation or additional charge.
When I landed, I reached out to Alex to understand who I was meeting and immediately saw Jay waiting for us at the NBO airport. Jay made our safari so fun- complete with disco lights during those 5am game drives. He was able to identify any animals far in the distance even if it looked like just a spot to us.
We transferred to Edgar in Tanzania. Edgar was prompt each day and so knowledgeable about all the animals. He even took us to a hidden spot where we saw a pride of lions made up of 5 lionesses and 20 cubs!
Each accommodation was truly incredible - spacious, breathtaking views, and literally a buffet of incredible food. There were guides to walk us to and from our rooms to ensure we were safe and welcome drinks at each location. I can't say enough positive things about this unforgettable trip.
If you are considering a trip to Kenya and Tanzania, Mama Savanna is no doubt the way to go.

AMAZING!!!
This was the 'trip of a lifetime' and James, who is Jemu Expeditions, made it unbelievable. He is totally hands-on and FULL of knowledge, compassion, humor, and totally on top of the details of our two-week trip. We loved every minute of the trip and his flexibility with our schedule when we needed it. We would and have recommended him many times. You can't go wrong with James!

Good Service & Great Experience
I booked a 10-day tour with Extra Miles Adventures for my group in August, and overall, we had a great experience. The itinerary, which covered both Kenya and Tanzania, was well-planned and offered a good balance of adventure and relaxation.
One aspect I appreciated was the company’s flexibility. When our group encountered some unexpected issues, they were quick to adjust the itinerary and resolve the problems smoothly, which really showed their commitment to customer service. They also provided a guide who could speak basic Chinese, which was a nice touch and made communication easier for our group.
The price was slightly higher than I initially expected. But given that the trip was during the peak season, I thought it was still reasonable.

Professional and personable operator who went out of their way to ensure we had a good time
We booked our Kenya leg of our Africa Safari through Daylight Safaris and overall our experience was extremely positive. During the planning and booking stage, Misaro was always quick to respond to emails and provide valuable advice for our small group booking. She is so personable and took the time out to come and meet us at the giraffe centre in Karen. Our safari guide and driver, Steve was so knowledgeable and made our time visiting the Nairobi National park, the Sheldrick elephant orphanage and Amboselli game reserve an unforgettable experience. If we do a longer trip to Kenya, I wouldn’t hesitate booking through Daylight again. It’s always great to be able to support a local Kenya operator.

Kenya is nothing but magical!
We could not have asked for a better experience than what we had during our Safari with Spirit of Kenya. Wonderful lodges, excellent services, with wonderful meals on-board.
Kenya is definitely one of those places, specially the savannah, the actual beauty of which you cannot capture through your camera lens no matter what you do. It settles deep into your soul in ways you cannot imagine. You lose track of time, and you lose your connection with this artificial world. You only exist in the wild, alongside your oldest pals and get a good whiff of how far humans have strayed away from what they were supposed to be.
Safety however is an issue outside the parks/resorts and the government should work upon providing a smooth law and order for tourists who pay a hefty amount for their experiences in Kenya. We, along with 100s of other tourists, got hijacked by a bunch of local protesters on our way from Masai Mara to Lake Nakuru. We missed our evening game drive that day because we stood still in that hijacked patch for more than 4 hours. It was a tense situation as we had kids along and we were scared that things may go south during the protest as no government official or anyone from tourism board came to rescue any of us from the situation.
These kinds of experiences within the country create a distaste for an otherwise beautiful experience.
Nevertheless, our trip to Kenya was fantastic and it was nothing less than a wonderful surprise for all of us. The weather, the hospitality inside the resorts and lodges was excellent.
We wish to visit Kenya in the future too.

Incredible wildlife with wildbeest migration
We travelled to Dar es Salam, a city of beaches, with great food.
We enjoyed an excellent boat ride from Dar to Zanzibar. Zanzibar was an island where white sand combined with blue/green water mesmerized us. The lanes of Stone Town and the Food in Lukeman Restaurant made an unforgettable combination.
The wildlife safari in Trarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro overtook all our expectations. We sighted Big Five, Zebra, Giraffe and almost all other animal habitats in East Africa. We can never forget the wildbeest migration across the Mara river.
Our tour operator, Meru Slopes, kept all their commitments and even more. Our guide cum driver Dunhil and our chef Dogong Dogo need special mention make our Safari memorable for years to come.

Go wild in Zimbabwe
What a big place to visit with bumpy roads and wild animals everywhere, great to see and experience especially with hot weather to relax in. The only problem for us was the visa system being asked before we got to the customs desk, we wanted a multi access visa we got a single. So crossing the border twice meant we ended up have to pay twice.

Unforgettable journey
We had a really nice time in Tanzania. The landscapes are mind-blowing, people are very kind and humble, and the beaches are incredible. Zanzibar is a very safe place (at least in the area where we stayed, which is Kendwa). We stayed there 10 days and then went on a 3-days safari on the mainland. Overall, an unforgettable experience.
