Fantasy
It was a great safari. With the help of our own private driver (Mohammed Massawe), we saw the big migration crossing the river. The price is more than worth it. Quality is really great.

Kilimanjaro ascension Lemosho route 8 days
The trek was great, the guide team is very well organized and everything is in place to make the climb a success. The guides, Muntari and Francky, were very competent and made us feel at ease throughout the adventure. Amani also looked after us very well at the various camps. The food was also very good and adapted to our diets. Last but not least, the remaining members are just as helpful and smiling, which makes the adventure all the more enjoyable.

Very professional, well organised and exceptional service (with very new equipment)
We did a four day safari with Crimson Brooke Safaris going up north to Mt Kenya, Ol Pejeta and Solio Ranch. Betty and the team were excellent during the initial planning process coming up with lots of different options, from Masai Maraa, to Ol Pejeta, flexibly working within our budget and very responsive. She was also happy to accomodate a last minute addition from a friend who wanted to join as well.
The safari itself was great, Betty and her team greeted us when got picked up and the vehicle and guide Reuben were great as well. The vehicle was very new (different to my last experience when I went with another tour operator), clean, and had a lot of additional 'touches': fresh water dispenser, high speed internet, and chargers + a welcome gift from the team as well. The tour was great, and our guide was very knowledgeable and flexible! Highly recommend them!

An unforgettable Safari !
What can I say about this fantastic adventure organized by Akondo Adventures!
A perfect organization, full support from our hotel in Zanzibar until our return to it, accommodation in unimaginable lodges, a very experienced guide, knowing all the parks to perfection, he allowed us, in three days, to approach as closely as possible, all the animals and especially the Big Five which are difficult to spot.
We wanted an unforgettable Safari ... we did it with Akondo Adventures!
Thank you Boris !!!

Look no further, Gorilla Link Tours is the BEST!
Carol with Gorilla Link Tours was amazing! Her attention to detail is unsurpassed. She personally visits every accommodation prior to using them as part of her packages. She even had someone meet us as we got off the plane to assist us with customs/immigration. This trip was PERFECT because of her. In addition to seeing an abundance of animals up close and personal, we also did numerous cultural experiences which helped us to better understand and appreciate the local flair. Her selections for every option on this trip were top-notch. I can't imagine a better tour company!

The tour operator assured that our trip was safe, fantastic, organized and enlighting.
We had the best guide we could ever hope for. Martin Mathenge was patient, kind, transmitter his knowledge very well and was clearly passionate of his country. We had such a memorable trip with him and would not hesitate to request him for our future trip. We have been so impressed and satisfied with our first experience that we plan booking a trip with this guide and this company again!

Simply fantastic- trip of a lifetime
We chose Lion king adventures from the reviews and wasn’t disappointed!
We booked an eight day luxury + safari and the booking process was very straightforward, with our queries being answered swiftly. Our tour guide/ driver was Huruma. He was great, very knowledgeable and experienced, who went out of his way to show us Leopard, Chetah, Wilde beast migration etc. He drove us very close to Chetah so that we could enjoy the beautiful animal. He also helped us in getting amazing pictures/ videos of the beautiful animals. He was very attentive to our every needs and looked after us extremely well. We had an experience of a lifetime and would Highly recommend Lion King Afverures to anyone planning a safari to Tanzania. Thank you very much Huruma and the Lion King Adventures team for making this possible for us.

Damian has great energy and his efforts got us to see all the cool animals
Humphrey from Cubs did a great job arranging the safari tour for us via WhatsApp months before arrival. He even made changes when we asked and was very quick to reply and give info before the trip. His communication was very good and professional.
The actual safari was with another company, Suricata Safaris. On day 1 the safari guide Damian came to pick us up, but someone from Cubs was also there to brief us and take the payment. Humphrey also checked in on us after return.
SAFARI
1 day Tarangire, 2 day Serengeti, 1 day Ngorongoro Crater.
As I said, Damian was our driver/guide via Suricata Safaris. He did an amazing job! We got to see all the animals, including the big 5. He even got compliments from other groups. He had good energy, fun, cares a about the animals and respects their space. Thanks to him we saw many rare finds. I'll leave a list of animals and where we saw them at the bottom of the review.
LODGES
First night: We did NOT LIKE our first lodge (Jambo Lodge and Campsite), even though it was a big, clean room, it was a random building in a lot with random stuff and trucks around and a dirty pool with no hot water in shower or fans. Staff were nice but not trained to deal with tourists. Food was tasty. This was not the agreed lodge but apparently the original one has some construction going on.
Second night: AMAZING! I was sad to have so little time at Heritage Luxury Camp. We arrived after sunset and left after sunrise the next day. Amazing staff, food, beautiful and big luxury tent with jaw dropping views. Some giraffes were roaming close by in the morning.
Third night: Rhino Lodge is nice, felt like a hotel. Very professional staff, good food and sunset view.
PRICE
About 2280€ for 2 people w/Lodges for 3 nights and 4 days of safari, pick-up/drop-off in our hotel in Arusha and also 1 airport transport. All food and water included during the trip. We payed 10% in advance online and the rest on day 1 in cash (they charge a fee if payment by credit card)
TIP for you: don't skip Ngorongoro, it's the most beautiful and impressive of these 3 (plus has the rhinos) and of course the Serengeti is a must. Tarangire is beautiful and we loved it, but if you have to choose, you can skip it (the same animals can be found in the other 2). If you can, stay more than 1 night at Heritage camp inside Serengeti.
ANIMALS
The most difficult ones to find (we were told) were rhino (we saw 2 together in the NC although a bit far because they're protected and also dangerous), leopard (we saw one sleeping on a tree in S), cheetah (we saw a mom and baby and later another lone one on a rock in S), lions (we saw many, male/female, including cubs in S and NC), countless elephants (very close to the car, crossing the street, in big/small groups, alone, with other animals and even playing in the mud in T, S, NC), giraffes (including a family with mom/dad/baby in T, S, NC). A couple of jackals, warhogs and a hyena.
Lots of: hippos (S, NC), wildebeest (NC), zebra (all parks), all kinds of antelope (gazelle, impala, hartebeest, topi, dik-dik, etc).
So many birds! Flamingos, lilac brested roller, superb starling, eagle, vultures, marabou storks, grey crowned cranes, Von der Decken’s Hornbill, secretarybirds, to name a FEW. (most in S and NC)
I'm probably forgetting some, but we did see a lot. It's good to keep in mind that we were told (repeatedly) that we were very LUCKY with the animals and that some groups don't see as many as we did in just 4 days. Even though Cubs and Damian are great, there's no guarantee you'll see these animals.
Hope you get to see your favorite animals.
Thanks Humphrey and Damian!

Top-notch operator!
I'm lost for words to describe the tour. From the very beginning till the end it was amazing! Since the time of the booking I had clear and efficient communication with the agent via WhatsApp, who later on during the safari was frequently checking on me. Our driver Evans was just great! Thanks to him we spotted all big 5 animals and many, many more. He is a driving pro and a friendly person as well. Safari itinerary was perfect with enough time to eat, rest and see all the animals. During the days of long drive Evans made sure we had breaks for toilet and a stretch. Accommodation was great too. Even if it's labelled 'budget' it's actually quite fancy (big tents with attached toilets, hot water, electricity). The tour exceeded my expectations and I would totally recommend to book through Beast Spoor Safaris!
