Very special birthday safari trip
I recently went on a safari trip with Balu Travel in Amboseli, Kenya, and it was an unforgettable experience! Our tour guide, Derek, was fantastic—very friendly, knowledgeable about the animals, and ensured we saw all the wildlife the park had to offer. I was thrilled to see cheetahs and a large number of elephants up close, giraffes, gazelles, zebras... The hotel was also great, I chose the Sopa Lodge and it made the entire trip special, especially since I celebrated my birthday there. Highly recommend Balu Travel for an amazing safari adventure!

A dream come true for us, amazing safari trip!
We booked direct with Active Wonders (Allano) and from the very beginning, the communication has been great and he has been very transparent as well. We booked 5-nights Luxury Safari covering all parts of Serengeti all the way to the north. Thank you so much for accommodating our group since we kept adding people in the group and we ended up with a group of 9 people! During the trip itself, we got 2 cars and 2 drivers (Amini and Mariki), and Allano also came along to make sure that everything is in good order. I was in the car with Amini and Allano, and Amini made sure that we can get to see all the Big 5 and a lot more! He knows exactly where the animals are and around what time, and thanks to him as well, we can see the great river crossing, which was one of the highlights of our trip here. We definitely recommend Allano and Active Wonders Safaris for a perfect safari trip in Tanzania!

Exceptional
Christian and Francis were wonderful and went out of their way to give us an amazing experience on our 9 day safari in February. We travelled in convoy as there were eight in our party including two grandchildren (four of us in each jeep). We would highly recommend this company because of our experience with Christian and Francis. Christian was amazing in tracking down one of the children's missing backpacks left behind at a busy roadstop. It ended up at Arusha Airport and with his contacts he got it delivered back to us as we were about to fly out of Kilimanjaro. Service above and beyond! We got to see lots of animals up close and they were great drivers. Thanks so much Christian and Francis for making our holiday so special.

Kind, funny, knowledgable, and safe for a group of young female travelers.
This was the most amazing trip I've ever been on! The views and animals amazing, and the tour guides were so friendly. Cathbert went above and beyond to make a wonderful experience for me and my family. He showed us a side of the culture we would not have seen with other your guides.
More importantly, it was wonderful to support a local Tanzanian rather than a large corporation! I would recommend this tour to anyone visiting Tanzania!

The best experiences ever!
One of the best experiences of my life, without a doubt! Mo was an amazing tour guide—he provided us with a truly unforgettable experience. We saw so many animals and captured incredible photos and videos. He was outstanding at his job. And we saw the Kilimanjarooo!!
Dominic also went above and beyond to help me with my eTA for Kenya when I was having issues, and he was always willing to assist. I had the most incredible time with them on this safari—highly recommended!

What an incredible person Sandra is to deal with
Wow! We dealt with Sandra from start to finish and what an incredible person she is. We had lots of questions and she was so quick to respond. We stayed at The Hide and her communication with them was fantastic. We did our own transfer which got a bit messy, but she was with us every step of the way making sure we were safe and reassuring us that our host was waiting to collect us. Thank you so much Sandra for your kindness. We truly appreciate it and our stay at The Hide was above and beyond what we hoped for.

Excellent tour guide!
I did a one-day tour of Jinja, with Augustine as a guide. The communication, payment possibilities and organisation were perfect, both before travelling and on the day. Augustine was expert, drove well and was interesting to talk with, highly reccomended as a guide.
