Much more then ever expected
I was more then a little hesitant to send money to Africa for a private safari until I spoke with Shaun Taylor, owner and guide extrodinaire ! I went on what I saw in the reviews and they are SO RIGHT ON. Shaun provides a service that goes over and beyond a safari guide. He answered all my crazy questions and his sense of humor is wicked ... which went along great with our group. This was to be a bucket list trip and it was much more then that. The serene accommodations, the five star chef (Lindsay is a culinary genius) and Shaun's amazing guiding skills make this trip unforgettable. His knowledge of the "bush", the animal calls, their behaviors, and his tracking skills made the trip so much fun. Shaun is the "google" of the bush ... you have question, he has the answer. You arrive as a guest and you leave as a friend and family member. I'm already trying to figure out when I can go back "home" to South Africa.

wonderful experience to the summit of Kilimanjaro and 4 day safari-tour
Our family (2 adults 50+ and 4 students 18-26) did a 6 day Kilimanjaro expedition and a 4 day safari tour with Ilmaasai. Both experiences were very positive. The safari guide knew a lot about the national parks and wildlife. The cook served fine and large meals. Reliable, medium sized local tour operator.

A very well organised trip and knowledgable guide!
We went on an overnight safari in July which included 2 game drives and a boat trip. The whole trip was very well organised and Carlos was an excellent and very knowledgeable guide!

6 Days Safari in Tanzania
We had a wonderful Safari in Ngorongoro, Serengeti, Lake Manyara and Tarangire national parks with a Adam our super entertaining driver guide. The accommodation was up to our expectations and everything was well organised. Highlights of the Safari being a live lion hunt, meeting the wonderful and colourful Masai's and learning some Swahili.

Best safari experience
I have been on many safaris and this was by far the best one my family and I have been on. Not only did all the wildlife and beautiful sceneries amaze us, but also our tour operator and guide Felix made the whole experience great. He is a very experienced guide and most of all he is kind, reliable and very passionate about his job. The prices were the most reasonable ones we could find. I would definitely recommend Felix to anyone who wishes to have the best safari experience.

Great value - money vs services and program, smooth cooperation and booking.
We had a really nice itinerary: NP Lake Mburo, Queen Elizabeth incl. Ishasha area, chipms, etc.
Total of 5 days for great price. I can recommend Silver-back safaris for everybody! It was my second time with this company on safari and me with my friends really enjoyed the time. Extremely disappointing
I requested a quote from the company and received one. I then replied asking to book the offer they sent - 1 week later i am still waiting to hear from them. I have sent 3 emails now and no response.
Really disappointing and think its very unprofessional. I will not book with them again or recommend them.
