5-star Safari Tour
An unforgettable safari experience! Everything was perfectly organized from start to finish. Our guide, Francis, was outstanding — knowledgeable, professional, and incredibly skilled at spotting wildlife. Thanks to him, we saw the Big Five and so much more. The vehicle was comfortable and ideal for game viewing, and the lodges were beautiful with excellent service. Highly recommend this safari — and be sure to request Francis for an exceptional experience!

Wonderful safari experience in Tanzania
We recently returned from an incredible 19-day private trip through Tanzania, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. My girlfriend and I spent two weeks on safari followed by a few days of relaxation on the beach in Zanzibar. The entire journey was organized by Color of Africa, and we’re truly grateful for the attention to detail and the quality of service we received from start to finish.
When planning the trip, we reached out to several companies for quotes. Color of Africa stood out by offering unique activities that we didn’t see from other tour operators. That made a real difference in shaping an itinerary that felt complete and more immersive.
Throughout the trip, everything ran like clockwork. We had dedicated drivers and knowledgeable guides for every leg of our journey, making each transfer and activity completely stress-free. We had our own private chef and he prepared excellent meals every day, thoughtfully tailored to our preferences. It added an extra level of comfort and care that we really appreciated.
The safaris themselves were unforgettable, spending two weeks immersed in Tanzania’s breathtaking wildlife and landscapes was an experience we’ll never forget. And finishing with a few relaxing days in Zanzibar was the perfect way to unwind and reflect on all the adventures.
Overall, this was a truly memorable trip, and we can’t recommend Color of Africa enough!

Excellent Safari
We did a 4 day safari in Chobe , which included Lodge, Game drives, Boat drives, special dinner and pickup and a transfer to Livingstone .Everything was done with excellent service and it went very smooth .We saw a lot of animals and the tlou lodge was a great place to stay at.So if we ever return to Botswana for another Safari we will surely use Escape to Adventure Safaris again.

Knowledgeable, professional and patient!
Excellent services provided by Maereg and his Team. The local guides and the drivers - Geta (my fave) were all great. They were patient, professional, knowledgeable and took great care of us. Everything was seamlessly coordinated and they were always on time for pickups and made sure we were briefed in advance of the itinerary and any changes. One of my top travel destinations in Africa with some of the kindest and warmest people. Maereg went above and beyond! First class service with always with a smile!

very special experience!
My partner and I went on the 4 day Masai Mara + Nakuru private tour, and had an unbelievable experience:
The highlight of the trip was definitely our driver and guide, Mr. David Mwangi. He was not only very knowledgeable and patient in explaining features of all the animals we saw, but he very quickly adapted to what we liked and how much we wanted to linger at a spot. Aside from the animals, he also told us more about the Masai culture and life in Kenya in general. Overall, he was always ready to share with us what he knew, but also gave us our alone time to chat and nap whenever we needed. We left earlier and returned later than most of the other parties, as he really wanted to make sure we got the most out of the trip. In short, David was a true professional and educator, and he was incredibly respectful to the animals, nature, and other people, while seemingly always in a lighthearted mood. Not to mention, he is a very careful driver, and we really felt safe in his hands throughout the trip. We didn't specifically request David as we just booked through the tour coordinator via email, but if you can, I can highly highly recommend booking a private tour with him, and I hope to return with him guiding my friends and family soon!
As for the tour itself, the last week of May seemed to be a good time, after the heavy rain season but before peak season. Of course we didn't see the wildebeest migration because it was out of season, but that was fine since we got to spend much more quiet time at each spot and saw the animals up close without other cars constantly coming in and out. Mara and Nakuru had very different landscape, so it was very much experiencing sceneries in both parks. As for the optional activities, the Masai village was a unique experience you obviously can't get anywhere else, and the boat ride on lake Naivasha was also interesting, but in general they costed more than what they were probably worth.

Surreal and super safe place for first-time roadtrippers in Africa :)
Being our first time in Namibia and actually Africa, we knew it would be great but we didnt know it would be THAT GREAT! From friendly locals to comfortable lodges to great food and drinks to surperb wildlife experiences to surreal scenery ranging from the sand dunes to the coast to the grass plains in Etosha, everything exceeded our expectations!!
All our friends and family were concerned about our safety, being 2 Asian girls driving around Africa for the first time but we felt safe and were also constantly taken care of or reminded by friendly locals to take care of our belongings.
Best experiences (being city girls) include climbing and sliding down sand dunes directly into deadvlei, random wildlife sightings, superb birding opportunities everywhere, befriending friendly Damara ppl and learning about their way of life at Damara Living Museum, eating the best Apple Pie at Solitaire and definitely tracking down wildlife at Etosha National Park and other private reserves :)
Namibia is such an underrated tourist destination and we absolutely love it! Thank you to Anja and Lilly from Great Explorations Namibia for planning our trip and providing invaluable tips!!
