Best experience ever! We loved every moment of our 11 day safari in Kenya + Tanzania
5/5

I just got back from an 11 day safari with Tapestry and our group of 6 had the most fantastic time! From the moment we landed everything was perfect. The hotels were beautiful, the food delicious and the guides were amazing. We were a bit nervous going at the end of May with it being the end of the rainy season and the grass being longer at that time. We were told not to worry and that we would have an amazing time and we did. It barely rained, and only at night time so we were unaffected. We saw an incredible amount of animals and had actually seen the big 5 by the end of our second day of safariing. Our guides George (in Kenya) and Joseph (in Tanzania) were fantastic. You could tell they truly cared we had an amazing experience and wanted us to see as many animals as possible. The schedule was very flexible. We could start our game drives as early as we wanted and end whenever we liked. Everything was so well organized we didn't have to do a thing. Throughout the trip we were followed up with several times to make sure everything was going as planned. Tapestry even organized a birthday cake for my brother's 30th birthday which was such a fun surprise. There are so many safari companies to choose from it's overwhelming but I'm super happy we went with Tapestry.

Seemless Organization and Great Itinerary!
5/5

Across the Wild put together an unforgettable safari experience for us, including our Dad who is 97 years old! Don't let your age keep you from this amazing trip. The drivers were so kind and had a real knack for finding the animals for us to see, while still retaining enough distance to not disrupt them. I would travel with them again and again.

Zanzibar Beach holiday – beautiful as a dream!
5/5

At the end of the safari, we went to Zanzibar for 4 days, where the African MasterClass Tours gave us all the planning. They put us in a beachfront resort in Nungwi - a peaceful setting, with blue-green waters in front and sunsets in the distance. Every morning started with the sound of the sea and ended with a walk in the sand. We went to Stone Town, a spice farm tour, and a sunset dhow cruise - every experience was unique. They managed the car, guide, and tour on time and made our journey absolutely hassle-free. Zanzibar is not only a honeymoon but also a perfect place to be refreshed.

Organized, and First Class Service
5/5

I just completed the 5 day gorilla and chimpanzee safari with Lulu and cannot speak highly enough of the itinerary and this tour company

Booking Process
- Working with Elvis was very easy, he was accommodating of all of our schedule changes and ensured our accommodations aligned with my dietary restrictions

Tour Guide
- We were fortunate to have Frank as our guide. Frank was amazing and provided such a high level of service throughout the trip.
- Frank was proactive in making sure we were always comfortable, enjoying the itinerary and offering his support in anything we needed (e.g., sundowner dinners or extra game drives)
- Frank also ensured we had the best possible experience in Uganda. He wanted to show us as much of his country as possible and ensure we saw it in the best light. Even when we had to go to the bathroom while he was filling up with gas, we’d start walking into the gas station and he wouldn’t let us go in, instead walking us to a nice hotel or restaurant and persuading them to let us use those bathrooms instead as they were cleaner

Accommodation
- Accommodations were phenomenal. They did differ slightly from the itinerary we reviewed but in both instances we appeared to be upgraded. Our lodging in Queen was changed to a 5* instead of 4* and our lodging in Bwindi was a different 4* that had better views than where we were anticipating

The extra little things
-A final call-out around the amount of care this company has for its customers. Elvis runs a very tight ship, every 2 hours he was calling Frank, our guide to ensure we were enjoying our experience, and every day he was calling me to make sure we had everything we needed
- Elvis also told us the day before our gorilla trek that he was able to call Bwindi and have us moved to the group with the biggest gorilla family (we didn’t even ask for this).

Highly recommend lulu on any Uganda trip. They are very well connected with the country and take a lot of pride in their guests experience.

Efficient, responsive, friendly tour for our trip to Kenya and Tanzania
5/5

The overall experience with Dosasha Tours, we are quite happy with it. We joined the Kenya and Tanzania tour package.

Dosasha arranged all the drivers, tour guides, and hotels for us in both countries very well. What I really liked about Dosasha was their efficiency. I communicated with them via WhatsApp, and they always replied as soon as possible.

In Kenya, I had an issue with bug bites. After I informed them, they contacted the hotel and arranged a room change for me. They even contacted the hotel pic to buy medicine for me to apply, which I really appreciated.

Thanks to the tour guides, we managed to see all the Big Five! All the guides spoke English, which made communication much easier for us.

Dosasha Tour was also quite flexible. Since it was just the two of us, we planned to join their budget group tour, but we were able to upgrade our hotels — which we were happy about. Of course, there was an additional charge, but we were willing to pay for the better experience.

On the last day, since our flight was at 12 a.m. (midnight), they brought us to some local and souvenir shops before heading to the airport. This wasn’t part of the original schedule, so we really appreciated the extra effort.

Although there were some minor issues — for example, we were once asked to switch to a public minibus when traveling between Kenya and Tanzania (or the other way around). At that time, we were a bit confused because no one clearly guided us on what to do, and we were just left waiting. But in the end, it was a small issue. It might have been better if we had asked more questions beforehand, as we didn’t really check the details of the arrangement.

In conclusion, we had a memorable and enjoyable trip with Dosasha Tour. Despite a few small hiccups, everything was well-organized and thoughtfully arranged. Their quick response, flexibility, and helpful service made us feel well taken care of throughout the journey. We would definitely consider traveling with them again and would recommend Dosasha Tour to anyone planning a trip to Kenya and Tanzania.

Reliable and excellent service provider
5/5

Our Safari was for over eight days with 3 night stay in Masai Mara, one night in Nakuru, one night in Naivasha and two nights in Amboseli. My sincere appreciation to Cynthia for charting out a very good itinerary . The choice of the hotels and guide was all very good. Special appreciation for Marcos the guide who has an exceptional knowledge of the plants and animals. He is also a very nice person and it was a pleasure knowing him. All praises for Axis Safari and their team.

Fabulous Service giving us a relaxing experience
5/5

So we were always dreaming about the great Safari tour we wanted to be a part of. We wanted our kid (8y) to have the best experience possible. We chose Kenya as our destination. When I started looking around for tour companies from India, I was initially skeptical of choosing a provider directly in Kenya due to trust or reliability concerns (I’ve always done trips and bookings on my own before).

After a lot of research and connecting with several providers, I chose Axis Africa Safaris. It was a smooth interaction with Monica over WhatsApp all the while. We had a lot of back and forth discussions on the itinerary, budget, what time to visit etc. She was very patient and answered all my questions making sure I completely understand all the details of our Safari. She was transparent in terms of the weather conditions and when it is ideal to travel. She also provided a lot of hotel options to consider our budget and comfort. Overall the booking experience was smooth and top notch. Thank you Monica for everything. You are the best.

We arrived in Nairobi and met with Mohammed (our guide and driver) 5 stars to the person and 5 stars to his Land Cruiser (our safe haven for the whole Safari), he was very outgoing and immediately connected with us and especially with our 8y old. Mohammed just took us through every detail during our Safari, be it the animals ( their behaviors, genders), places of interest on our way of travel, and about the Kenyan and Masai culture. He was honest on things that he was not sure of. The drive was smooth (bumpy due to the roads in the park which was fun) and safe throughout. No speeding. He made sure we reach the spots where animals were moving and then gave us enough time at all places to enjoy the experience. Our kid surely missed him at the end of the trip expecting him to come pick us up on time like every day. Thank you Mohammed.

This was a private safari since we had the kid and hence we had enough time to decide when to start and where to go. I’d recommend doing the private safari if budget supports as this is ideal with small kids. We stayed at Jambo Mara (Masai Mara), Lake Nakuru Lodge and Naivasha Sopa (this one will remain with us for a long time with giraffes and zebras strolling around us as we walk inside the property)

Once again a big thank you to everyone at Axis Africa Safaris for getting us to experience a Safari of a lifetime, we take back a lot of memories.

Awesome Safari
5/5

Safari was awesome. Festo and Max took care of everything, all we had to do was show up and have fun. They worked hard to make sure we enjoyed ourselves… even though we basically turned the trip into a live Lion King audition. 10/10, would go on safari with them!!!
