! TOP QUALITY ! If you want a concierge Level experience, a unique itinerary, and an AMAZING GUIDE..
We are experienced World Travelers (over 40 countries ) , and although flexible as needed without issue, when traveling we prefer luxury accommodations and private versus group tours. We are not snobby about it, and have no problem staying in modest accommodations or using group tours, the fact is we simply appreciate and look for the extra level of quality , detail and attention when available from higher end providers. I note this to qualify our experience with E&H BLESSED SAFARIS. They were not at the top of the lists , but recommended by friends . SO we Especially I was very hesitant to go with a less know company versus a name brand for such a potentially complicated trip . When starting to plan the trip we were told Its important to keep in mind you are planning a Safari in Africa, and you will be touring many uninhabited areas. thus it is important to rate luxury with that caveat, That was our mindset going into the trip . Medium expectations of service and quality rated as Luxury. Boy were we surprised by the level of Quality !!! Erasto Mollel ( the E in E & H ) Is an AMAZING Tour Operator and Guide. Proud of his upbringing as a full Masai warrior, having been raised in a small tribal village, then later University educated, His unique and engaging knowledge of the Land, the Animals , and the Culture makes the hours on the road or in the jeep pass quickly. Our concern over the attention span of our Early teen Boys was quickly overcome By Erasto's warmth and personal interaction with each of them, knowing just how to hold their interest and educating them in the process. We couldn't have been more surprised to find the Boys eagerly trying to locate and identify different Bird species as we traveled along the Roads.... Erasto makes a Special Effort when possible to avoid being in the same exact place at the same exact time as the other tour jeeps, not being part of the "wagon train of Jeeps" is a major part of making the experience Unique although sometimes this is unavoidable. In terms of Park Access Service and Quality of accommodations , Erasto's network of Personal friends and Contacts range from a Number of Major Park General Managers (who were Friends & class mates) to Hotel Operators who worked with Erasto when he was part of upper management at one Luxury Hotel Chains. This Hotel background in particular provides Erasto with foreknowledge and concern for making sure that Not only does he Get the best possible Accommodations for your desired level of comfort and budget ( based on availability at time of booking ) But also Insures that Once On site, Every detail is to your liking, and when It's not he is busy insuring that whatever the issue was has been addressed to your satisfaction. Hopefully I am conveying the High level of personal attention and concern that E&H Safaris ( Erasto, and Happiness His wife the "H" in E&H safaris) place on creating the Tailored Safari experience You seek with the highest level of comfort and quality of accommodation available . Honestly I couldn't believe when my wife said she was booking a small tour company versus one of the Top Name Tours, based on the personal recommendation of a friend. When she checked with Erasto she and was impressed from the start , his responsiveness, attention to detail , and suggestions for customizing our tour won her over immediately . Though as noted I was concerned at first, But once Involved I also quickly became comfortable trusting in Erasto , throughly enjoying our trip and Left Tanzania with a new friend and the most memorable quality experiences in all my world travels.
Suffice it to say We have recommended Erasto and Happiness, E & H BLESSED SAFARIS to everyone we know planning a Trip to Africa. A Few Friends have taken our recommendation and now they too come back feeling just as passionate and satisfied with their experience and that of their Children.
Thus It is with my Highest Levels of Praise and level of Recommendation, ( and my Families) That we Suggest your choosing Erasto's E & H Safaris. They Truly are the Best ! They make every effort to go above and beyond in order to make your Safari , Unique, comfortable and a "Blessed Experience" , One to remember for a Lifetime .

Fourth visit to Tanzania with Ajabu Adventures
September 6, 2015 we started our 4th visit to Tanzania organised by Ajabu. First we climbed Kilimanjaro. We chose the 8-days Lemosho route. It was tough but we succeeded thanks to the perfect organisation and support of a wonderful team. Guides and porters did a great job, we are very grateful to them. We were like one big family. We were in good hands from day1. It was an unforgettable experience. After my fellow-climber Kenneth and I finished the climb, my husband joined us for a safari in Tarangire and Serengeti National Park. The safari was great. Sleeping in tented camps in Serengeti surrounded by wild animals is great. Thanks to a last minute change proposed by Ajabu, we went to northern Serengeti for 3 nights and were able to see the crossing of the Mara River by wildebeest and zebra on different occasions. Juma, our driver/guide for the 4th time, was amazing again. Back home, we miss Tanzania already. Your country has a special place in our heart. And we will, certainly come back. We thank Ajabu and especially Gert-Jan, Anja and last but not least Juma for making our dreams come true.

This is absolutely the most amazing company!!
As a travel agent for over 20 years I pay attention to all parts of travel from booking to the trip experience. This was a real vacation for me and a couple girlfriends. After sharing with Donna what we were looking for we let her choose what she felt would fit our needs. She was spot on from day 1!! The best places, the most amazing food. Plus every stop and guide were amazing. I would be happy to share more if you have any questions.
We did a couple nights in Arusha, 5 nights on a horseback safari and a night in Nairobi to experience the elephant orphanage and giraffe center. We we taken care of from the moment our feet landed in Kilamanjaro.
The prices were the best and it exceeded my highest expectations.
Thank you again Donna and Maasai Wanderings for making a dream come true!! Rhonda

"Perfect" is insufficient a word to describe the experience and Ute's service
Every detail was handled from beginning to end with a level of professionalism second to none. Ute took our interests, desires, and timetable and put together a program that was amazing. Her experience with the lodges, ground transport companies, and charter air companies made all aspects of our 12 days in the bush seamless leaving us to only enjoy every moment of our amazing journey. By the second day my wife was so impressed with the experience she was asking "When are we coming back?" Tip: Let Ute handle all your transport from your arrival in country to your airport departure to remove any chance of stress and distraction so you're left to only enjoy your safari.
The four &Beyond lodges we stayed at offered a level of luxury and service we honestly could not believe. Everything to the smallest detail expertly handled with the brightest and biggest South African smiles. Game drives with their ranger/driver and trackers were extraordinary with up close encounters with so many animals we couldn't keep track. We need to go through the thousand or so photos we took to make a list. Food was excellent and offered something like eight times a day so expect to gain a pound or two.
Just a few tips: The lodges do your laundry so it isn't necessary to over pack. South Africa has a electrical plug that is different from what most of the adapters we've used all over the world so be sure you either bring one with you or buy one on arrival. Pack a lightweight windbreaker that resists rain and packs down to nothing for use on the early morning drives as the wind created while driving in the open vehicles can be chilly but as the morning warms just pack it away. One warm jacket is a necessity as the weather will change and don't get caught short. Be prepared to have your face in a constant smile, your eyes startled, your brain over stimulated, and your heart warmed.

With Mega Adventures nothing can go wrong, best insider tip I ever got!
Our safari was nothing but a m a z i n g ! You'd think we were part of the discovery channel. I'm so happy I got this insider tip from a friend who used to live in Tanzania. Mohammed (our organizer), Abu (our guide and driver) and Mudi (our chef) were such good hosts. I'm forever grateful for Mega Adventures' extreme kindness and helpfulness. Without these guys, I'm positive that we'd have spent at least twice as much for half the experience. We saw more then we could have wished for (and more than the other groups we met along the way..) And with the land rover nothing could stop Abu! The Migration, the Big Five, cheetahs.. you name it, we saw it! (Once I've finished the editing of my camera material, I'll share the link of a short movie, and you can see for yourself.) Oh, and the food was incredible! Thumbs up :)
If you're interested in why and how it was so great, here's a longer excursion of what happened:
First we went on a walking safari with a ranger (I advise you to bring water!). It was extremely interesting, we saw so many traces of animals, got to know much about them, and then we just bumped into more and more of them and followed them around. This day we saw a lot of giraffes, and to see them up close on the ground was breathtaking.
We camped in a little town with a pool and showers and good food..
The next day we went through Serengeti and saw the migration.. first you see a couple of zebras, and you're amazed, then some antelopes. Then the antelopes are everywhere and you see a dark gnu, and your amazed, then you see zebras and antelopes and gnus absolutely everywhere, the horizon is just a black line in every direction, made by these incredible animals. Once passed the great migration. We saw a lion on the side of the street, gazing in the sun.. further away another one pops up.. and then another three.. and it just goes on and on. We saw at least 20 lions in total!
Then, all of the sudden the car stops. We've apparently arrived to our campsite - in the middle of the park! This night made us feel so alive! There were hyaenas screaming and running past our tents at night. It's not a joke: you're in the wilderness. You could obviously choose to stay in a lodge if you don't feel comfortable. But for our group this camping experience was something we were grateful and happy to experience.
The following day we started out at dusk. Driving around in complete silence. We couldn't see a thing. Some elephants walking along the horizon as the sun rises.. We almost lost hope in seeing anything.. But then my sister saw something along the road. We thought it was a lion, but as we came closer.. the shape get's more and more obvious: a leopard, and further away another one (this is very rare, since leopards are mainly seen in pairs when they mate). We followed them, as they walked through the high grass. Then one of them climbed the tree and the sun was just right.. And then, as if that wasn't enough, Abu saw something further away - something the leopards hadn't seen yet - a cheetah with three little cubs were gazing and playing respectively. We were just a couple of meters away from these animals, without distracting them, and could peacefully follow them around. These five cats were my highlight! Later on we stopped one meter in front of one of those typical elephant crossings. It must have been at least 20 elephants crossing the street. So playful and nice. We saw some lions on the way to Ngorongoro and got to our campsite just next to the crater. Elephants kept coming there, to drink water from the well. At night buffalos came up the hill to eat..
Following day we went out to see the crater. All of these animals gathered in the greatest unfilled volcanic crater in the world. The sight itself is enough to stay stunned. We went through the park and there, not far away, a black rhino is walking towards the vehicle. Closer and closer, and then across the road just in front of our car. It was such a precious moment. Later we saw another two black rhinos further away, along the horizon.
Even after the safari Mohammed sorted us out and gave us tips on what to do with the rest of our days in Tanzania and Zanzibar. He never stopped to amaze me. Just the kindest person!
It was just such a nice experience, we were all extremely happy and overwhelmed. The food, the kindness, the engagement, the nature, the animals…
Wish you all a wonderful trip if you decide to go to Tanzania, and especially Mega Adventures, then nothing can go wrong!
Pole Pole, Hakuna Matata :)

Top-Notch Experience thanks to the Flight of the Eagle
Elize and Johan make the perfect team for an unforgettable experience. Whether you have already visited South Africa and Kruger National Park or it's your first time in that beautiful part of the world, their experience will match your desire to learn and see all there is to discover. Elize's knack for organization will assure a smooth transition from place to place and she will make sure you're well-informed for what *you* specifically want to experience. Johan's and Elize's combined knowledge of the area's history and natural beauties will keep you interested every step of the way. Elize and Johan are two people who clearly love what they do and value the relationship between humans and the wilderness. Their warmth and attention will make you feel like you have old friends taking care of you on your trip, and they will make you feel at home from the first moment, not because it's their business, but because they actually care.
The accommodations they choose are always top-notch for the area you will visit, and even though you're steps away from the wilderness, the amenities offered will allow you to make the best of your rest time.
I highly recommend The Flight of the Eagle to anyone who is looking for the best way to experience South Africa and all it has to offer.
