Good experience, attentive staff
My safari experience to Maasai Mara was well-organized and enjoyable. The staff was attentive, responsive, and always made an effort to ensure our needs were met, which made the trip comfortable and smooth.
The drive from Nairobi to Maasai Mara is long, but the scenic views of the Kenyan landscape made it an adventure of its own. The staff ensured we were comfortable throughout the journey, which helped make the ride pleasant.
The tour guides and drivers were incredibly skilled and knowledgeable. They were dedicated to helping us spot wildlife and shared detailed insights about the animals and their environment, making the game drives both exciting and informative. Their professionalism, patience, kindnesd and effort were evident at every turn.
Overall, the safari was a memorable experience, and I would recommend it to anyone planning to visit Maasai Mara. The team’s competence and attentiveness made it worthwhile.

Fabulous safari tour operator.
We booked from the UK & it was amazing. Thank you. We chose the parks & Benson created a package for us. The guides met us at Voi train station & we drove through Tsavo East, West & Amboseli up to Nairobi. Wow it was fabulous. Chet was uber experienced & spotted loads. First time safari for me & I loved it, highly recommend.

Patrick is an excellent natural history and wildlife guide
Ours was a trip of a lifetime, and Patrick and staff were wonderful. We had bush flights to four different camps over 12 days - Okavango Delta, Moremi Game Preserve, Savuti, and Chobe National Park. The sleeping and dining tents were very comfortable, with breakfast and evenings around the campfire. The twice a day game drives were extraordinary and Pat's knowledge of birds is amazing. He was able to maneuver the 10 person jeep to within 20 feet of lions, leopards and wild dogs. He was so patient with the 4 photographers in the group constantly asking to stop for yet another photo. We would highly recommend this trip!

A once in a lifetime experience
There are not enough positive words to explain our trip with Meru Slopes. Everything was seamless. From initially booking the trip, they answered any questions/queries we had extremely promptly. It was our first time on a safari so we had a few questions, however, we were put at ease and made to feel like family straight away. We landed at Arusha and our driver was there promptly and showed us Arusha’s history on route to our first stop. All of the accommodations selected were amazing - very friendly staff and excellent food choices all over. Tanzanian locals are extremely helpful and nothing was ‘too small for them’.
And for the main highlight - our safari driver, Asantaeli. We couldn’t have asked for a better tour guide. Every day he greeted us with a smile and his friendly personality. He made every game drive memorable and provided extra information into the history of the land and animals and made sure we saw all the amazing and wonder sites Tanzania had to offer. We were very lucky in our drives to see everything we could have imagined (and most animals at very very close range). The communication between the drivers meant that we were able to get good sightings of animal such as lions, cheetahs and even Rhinos!
We couldn’t recommend Asantaeli and the rest of the team at Meru slopes more and will recommend to everyone we know. Thank you so much and we cannot wait to return!

The best safari out there!
We had amazing 5 days with Meijo Safari! A special thanks to our guide Andrea who we felt safe with and had a lot of fun!
The food and accommodation was excellent and it was very well planned and organized. We saw many many animals and it was all above our expectations. We can really recommend it!

Amazing experience
We were together with Shanjoy tours on a combined Kenya and Tanzania safari for 8 days and it was an amazing experience. The service was from the beginning on, when we found Shanjoy on safaribookings.com and made first contact to plan the tour very professional. All our wishes were included in the tour plan and we received fast responses.
When the safari started, we made first contact in person with Patrick and Samuel, or guide for the next days. We felt very soon, that we were in good hands. Beside the great wildlife experience (we saw the big five and many many cheetahs) we want to highlight here that our guide Samuel has had always an open ear for our wishes, we felt safe with him on the roads and the choice of lodges (where we followed Shanjoys recommendations) was fantastic.
We also want to highlight, that we had problems with our airline, losing the luggage on the incoming flight and we had a flight cancellation of the return flight. Thanks to Patrick, (he could manage to pick up the luggage at Nairobi airport) we received our luggage after a few days and we could also extend the safari for one day. We know, this is not self-evident and a great service.
