Daniel, at Transtrek, organised a safari for me and my group (14 in total) to Kenya. He customised one of Transtrek's standard tours, increasing our number of days in the Samburu and Masai Mara.
We communicated from January to November almost weekly, to ensure everything was organised , down to the smallest detail (activities, celebrating one of the group's birthdays etc). Nothing was too much trouble. I was very happy with the level of communication and service from Daniel. And I felt that the tour was definitely good value for money.
Our 3 drivers were there at Nairobi Airport to greet us, when we arrived from the UK. And they looked after us for the whole time. there was alot of driving and game drives, which they handled well with good knowledge.
The tour was just as I had planned and the whole group enjoyed their safari immensely (some were new to Kenya and others had been on safari before).
I would definitely recommend Transtrek, as a company and would hope to use them again in the future!

Excellent Service and people
Okavango and Moremi Safari with Safaris in Africa was absolutely unforgettable! We saw lions, elephants, and even a leopard! The guides were exceptional, the accommodations were luxurious yet in harmony with nature, and the service was flawless. We couldn’t have asked for a more magical experience. We highly recommend it!

Amazing !
I travelled with a friend in December with Kyooma Gorilla Safaris. We did a 7-day safari.
Our driver, Salomon, was very kind. He’s a good driver, he knows a lot about his country so he was able to share his knowledge with us.
The organisation of the safari was very good. We saw some waterfalls, a lot of animals (gorillas, chimpanzees, elephant, rhinos, …). All the activities and accomodation were perfect.
Unfortunately I injured myself. The company managed everything and took care of me. I’m very grateful !
I advise you to travel to Uganda and choose Kyooma Gorillas safaris !

Amazing experience that everyone must have at least once in their life!
During the 6 days of safari (2 days in Masai Mara, 1 day in Nakuru and 2 days in Amboseli) we saw a lot of wild animals and could observe their natural behavior. The drivers were very polite and funny and answered all our questions about the animals. Sleeping in tents was also a great experience. While lying in the tent, a group of Banded mongoose suddenly ran through the middle of the camp - it was like a fairy tale!

Capable operator with good recommendation of safari program and experienced tour guide.
Our 8 days safari experiences was amazing. Our guide, John, is very professional, knowledgeable and experienced. We saw the big 5s. In addition, we had many chances to see lions and great migration and we even saw cheetah hunting. Very impressive trip indeed.
We recommend it to everyone who has an interest in safari.

The best ever (again)
For the sixth time now we chose jungle empire for our weekend experience. We went cycling in hells gate and for a boat tour on lake naivasha. The communication with Ben is swift and pleasant. The program is fully adjustable to your own wishes and group size. Ben is very knowledgeable and friendly and made our day, again, unforgettable

As a young couple (31 and 30) from the German-speaking region, this was our first trip to Africa—and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We started planning our trip early, and Robert from Explorer Kenya helped us with the planning. He patiently answered all my questions and guided us through the process with great care. I highly recommend doing plenty of research, reaching out to multiple providers, and setting clear expectations to ensure a smooth safari experience.
We booked a private safari with a Land Cruiser, and we were fortunate to have John Muhoi as our guide—a fantastic driver and guide in every sense. He took such great care of us, providing insightful information about the animals, nature, and even Kenya’s history. John’s expertise made our entire safari an unforgettable experience. Our journey started in Ol Pejeta Conservancy, which we highly recommend. The lodge we stayed at was incredible, and the highlight here was seeing rhinos up close, which was an absolute delight. From there, we continued to Lake Nakuru and finally to the Maasai Mara, where we were able to spot the “big cats.” John’s incredible ability to spot animals, even off the beaten paths, truly set him apart. While other guides often relied on radio communication, John’s keen sense and intuition meant he could find animals quickly, even in unexpected places. One example: we were once notified that a wildcat was spotted near the lodge, and John was ready to adjust plans immediately so we wouldn’t miss the opportunity.
All of this contributed to a once-in-a-lifetime safari experience. We want to thank Explorer Kenya, especially Robert and John, for their outstanding service and support. We can wholeheartedly recommend this tour to anyone looking for a memorable safari adventure!
