Did Okavango Delta safari for 2 nights and 3 days tour. Services (occomdation, food and mokoro & walks) were excellent and guide could explain well.

The tour was reliable and staff (guide, chef and support staff) looked after me well.

Exceeded Expectations
5/5

From the very start I knew this company was the best choice for my safari trip. Brian, my tour consultant, was always extremely helpful, answered all my questions, texted back quickly (both before my trip started and also during the tour when I had concernings), and made sure everything was according to my needs. Even when I had to make a couple of changes to my itinerary, he was understanding of it and rearranged everything.

I booked the 7-day Kenya and Tanzania Safari on a budget fare, which was so much more than I had expected for the value I payed. All accomodations were comfortable and clean, but the highlights for me were Nyati Safari Camp and Simba Camp, which offered two completely different but great experiences. Overall, the food was good, especially in Tanzania because of Erika, the amazing cook that travelled with us. As for the vehicles, they were in good state, comfortable and didn't have any problem at all with them, except for a couple of windows that were hard to open.

Both my drivers, Simon in Kenya and Jonas in Tanzania, were extremely skillful in spotting animals, answered questions about wildlife and local culture, and gave extra information about the animals and their behavior. Jonas even prevented I got scammed once. They were both respectful around animals and tried not to get inappropiately close to them (which, I learned, not every driver cares about), although they would sometimes drive somewhat fast when approaching them, and that could be worrying.

In sum, the whole tour was beyond-satisfying and I got to live this incredible experience without any disturbances or complaints. On the contrary, I'm just thinking about when I'll be able to go back again.

About: Uganda
Uganda an amazing country
Overall rating
5/5

My husband and I did a 9 day tour of Uganda with Dav Safaris at the beginning of June. It exceeded our expectations. We arrived in Entebbe mid afternoon. I must say I found the whole process at the airport challenging and funny. After experiencing immigration queue jumpers, a whole family pushing in in-between my husband and myself, so I needed to wait for him to be processed before finding our bags, having our finger prints scanned and then trying to access our bags from the carousel where people blocked the carousel with at least 3 trolleys each, I thought to myself this is going to be an interesting trip. It also took me a couple of days to get used to seeing people (rangers, security guards and the like) walking around with machine guns. Just a heads up, you can only have 1 person at an ATM at a time. Well we started our trip with a visit to the rhino sanctuary, seeing so many rhinos up close was great and you could tell that the staff are very passionate about the conservation of and ultimately reintroducing them back into the wild of Uganda. With our tour covering Murchison Falls National Park, a boat ride on the Nile in Murchison National Park, Queen Elizabeth National Park, a boat ride in the Kazinga Channel , chimpanzees in Kibale Forest, gorillas in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, Lake Bunyonyi, and Mabamba Swamp, we were able to see a large range of animals and birds. The animals seen included elephants, giraffe, rhinos, hyenas, lions, leapord, Jackson Heartbeast, crocodiles, Cape buffalo, Shoebill Stork, Thompson Gazelle, Civet, shell-less tortoise, warthogs, hippopotamuses, baboons, black and white Colobus monkeys, chameleon, chimpanzees and of course gorillas. Uganda is a bird lovers paradise, we saw at least 75 different bird species and we weren't even looking for birds. The people were warm, friendly and welcoming. They all seemed extremely happy and genuinely thankful that we chose their country to visit. The landscape of Uganda is gorgeous. Uganda has something for everyone and if you are only going to visit 1 country in Africa I encourage you to make that country Uganda.

About: Kenya
My Trip to Kenya – It Exceeded All My Expectations!
Overall rating
5/5

Kenya had long been on my travel list, but honestly, it went far beyond what I imagined. The safari we did in the Masai Mara was simply incredible. I had never been anywhere where nature felt so wild and breathtaking.

I was quite concerned about hygiene and cleanliness beforehand, but both the hotels we stayed in and the restaurants we visited were far above my expectations. The hotels were very comfortable, and the food was delicious and safe.

We visited just before the high season, the time of the Great Migration, but even so, we were able to see many animals in the Masai Mara: lions, elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, and cheetahs. The only animal we didn’t spot was a leopard.

In Nairobi, the Giraffe Centre is an absolute must-visit. Getting up close to giraffes and feeding them was an unforgettable experience.

We will definitely return to Kenya during the Great Migration season. I’m already excited about seeing the Masai Mara again, and perhaps even the Serengeti. Kenya is truly a dream destination for nature lovers and safari enthusiasts.

About: Botswana
Saw animals I didn't know before
Overall rating
5/5

We enjoyed a lot the trip. We didn't know a lot of Botswana before, but all the people were friendly and we felt welcome. The guides were motivated and had fun to search for the animals. And we saw plenty of them. Usually no long searching for it we're necessary to see something. In South Africa also inside a camp we had to drive much more to spot something. I can really recommend Botswana. We were in Chobe and Okavango Delta.

good holiday in kenya
5/5

I had an amazing experience with this Kenya tour group! The price was very affordable, especially considering the quality of the services provided. The food was delicious throughout the trip — fresh, flavorful, and a great mix of local and international options. The accommodation was also excellent: clean, comfortable, and well-located. Overall, it was a well-organized and enjoyable trip. Highly recommended!

I booked a 5-Day Gorilla and Chimpanzee Trekking Tour with Dav Safaris and it was absolutely amazing. From the start, Reagan was very helpful with organizing my itinerary and answering all my questions. The whole tour was arranged to my needs and I was happily surprised that I got a "private" tour, since I was the only person departing that day. I even got welcomed at the airport by Reagan himself, his daughter and Ben, my guide, who was also extremely helpful and kind to me the whole five days. Because I'm a woman travelling alone, it can be concerning to go on the road that much time with a man you don't know, but Ben always made me feel safe and comfortable, and he was always trying to improve my experience by widening my knowledge about Uganda, it's wildlife and culture, and making sure I was having the time of my life.

As for the trekking experiences, they were both so amazing and fulfilling, and I was lucky enough (also thanks to Ben) that neither of them were as long as I had expected. Other highlights of the trip were the monkey trekk and community tour, which I enjoyed greatly (guided by a local named Patrick), and the visit to Lake Buyonyi.

Regarding the lodges, I stayed in three different ones, all of them absolutely stunning and filled with the nicest people. The food was great at all times, whether we ate at the lodges, packed lunches, or on the road. The vehicle was comfortable, which was great because we had many driving hours a day.

In sum, I'm happy I got to live this experience without any disturbances or complaints. I 100% recommend Dav Safaris.

A Dream South African Journey Made Effortless by Pembury Tours
5/5

Our recent trip to South Africa was nothing short of magical, and we owe it all to Kerry Ririe at Pembury Tours. From the moment I reached out with our travel dates, budget, and a rough itinerary, Kerry took the reins and presented us with three stunning options—each more exciting than the last. It was clear from the start that she truly understood what we were looking for.
We began our journey with two delightful days in Franschhoek, wine tasting via the Hop-on Hop-Off Wine Tram. Elmer from La Rochelle Tours elevated the experience with his passion and knowledge, teaching us how to truly appreciate every glass. From there, Rosa at Paradise Touring guided us through the breathtaking Cape Peninsula, sharing the beauty of the coast, the charm of the penguins, and the majesty of Table Mountain under clear skies.
At Motswari Game Lodge, we were welcomed like family. Our guide Owen kept us laughing and marveling as we spotted the Big Five in a single evening—an unforgettable moment. The intimate encounters with elephants, lions, leopards, and graceful giraffes were awe-inspiring.
We wrapped up our adventure at the beautifully refreshed Idube Game Lodge, where the wildlife magic continued with wild dogs, even more leopards, and endless photo-worthy moments.
It was hands down the best vacation I’ve ever had with my family. Every detail was thought of, every experience was curated to perfection. When it’s time for our next African adventure, Pembury Tours will be our first call.

Collin - the best game driver & tour guide
5/5

A great adventure. Quick and efficient organisation, last minute. Good value for money. Collin is a great game driver. He is patient, understanding and has a wealth of knowledge, which he willingly shared with us, telling us interesting facts about the safari and the life of the local people.

The only downside was that the office refused to take us back to the hotel after the trip (stating that it was too far from the centre and there was too much traffic), even though the offer included transport to and from the hotel what the office staff confirmed.
