I recently had the pleasure of using Tanzania Explorer to arrange my visit to Tanzania with Ruaha National Park and Dar-es-Salaam, and I couldn't be happier with my experience. Our visit to Ruaha National Park was great. Known for its iconic baobab trees and large populations of big cats and elephants, Ruaha is a must-visit for you who love the wilderness and do not want to share it with too many others. We visited Ruaha at the start of the rainy season and while the park was lush and green it was a bit more challenging to spot animals, but the park's natural beauty is absolutely worth a visit also in the green season. That said we saw plenty of animals, elephants, buffalo, a hunting leopard and many more animals, the highlight being, a pack of wild dogs always exiting to experience! Ruaha is well known for walking safari so make sure you get the opportunity to enjoy this unique experience. I felt completely safae walking with two armed guides walking to incredible beautiful nature along the Ruaha River watching the hippos and crocodiles.
In Ruaha, we stayed at the beautiful Asanja Camp. The camp offered extremely good food, friendly people, great design, and stunning surroundings with a view over the Ruaha River.
I highly recommend visiting Ruaha, either during the dry season for better game viewing or the rainy season for its unparalleled beauty.
We also visited Dar-es-Salaam and was staying at Tanzania Explorer´s Villa. It's a fantastic place to relax before or after your safari adventures. One of the highlights of my trip while stying in Dar was visiting Mbudya Island, where you can enjoy crystal blue waters, white sandy beaches, and fresh grilled lobster and fish. Additionally, make sure to explore the vibrant and colorful food market for an authentic taste of local culture.

Everything perfect from the first question till Good bye after 3 days akagera
Communication with the company as I like it, service perfect, everything worth the money, 7 o clock from the Hotel in Kigali with a comfortable car, having a coffee and nice restrooms after an hour drive, coming to Ruzizi Tented Lodge - a dream place! - having the first game drive, elefants, hippos, playing baboos, aboat trip with lots of birds , elefants again, crocodils,.. Our Guide Emile really excellent! driving next day - so many animals so close to see, an interessting night drive seeing a huge group of buffeloes and for an extra highligth the lions on the last day. After all this amazing experience we booked a walking safarie - don´t miss this adventure!

An incredible experience with Mtina
With my husband we were lucky enough to travel to Ngorogoro Crater with Mtina, who made the trip an incredible experience. Along the way he told us stories to give us context about the place but also taught us a lot about the animals and with his experience we were able to track and see animals that were camouflaged. A totally recommendable experience.

They help you make your dreams come true
I have already planned the trip from home and communicated my wishes and budget to the provider. I was then made various offers, which we then adjusted together so that I was satisfied. When I landed in Nairobi I was picked up straight from the airport and then warmly greeted. The driver was very communicative and we got along right away. He drove very well and not too fast or too risky. Great care was taken to fulfill my wishes. Of course a driver can't conjure up animals on a safari, but he was in radio contact and searched various points, so in the end I was able to take countless shots and photograph a variety of animals and beautiful natural scenes in addition to lions, cheetahs, elephants, wildebeests, zebras and monkeys. The accommodations chosen (lodges and hotels) fully met my expectations. The staff there was always friendly and helpful. Of course it helps if you speak a few words of Kiswahili in addition to English, but that is not a must.The tour guide didn't bother me during the trip, but gave me time to relax, but kept asking me if everything was okay. I felt very well advised and cared for at all times. This is exactly how I imagine a relaxing dream vacation. There was always enough water in the jeep and the driver was also able to help me when I had problems communicating with the conductor in Nairobe.No matter where I was in Kenya, the drivers were either already waiting for me or there was a driver change, so I always felt very good and didn't lose any time on the well-planned journey. The driver even tried to plan detours that I requested (e.g. to stop at a local market). I can only recommend the company to every traveler. They really look after you very well and are not, like many others, just looking for quick money, but rather want you to actually see the animals you want on the safari and that you feel comfortable.

Ngorogoro with Mtina
Today I had the experience of visiting Ngorogoro Crater with Mtina, he was an excellent guide, he made stops every time we asked him to, he told us anecdotes about the animals and I feel that I not only enjoyed but also learnt a lot.

Everything was just very well planned
On my second tour with Singe Tours & Travel I was once again able to rely on Agnes' extensive and excellent advance planning. She asked me beforehand what I wanted to see and do, which places I wanted to visit and who would accompany me and then the calculations and planning were made. As a freelance journalist, I had a few unusual requests this time. So I was accompanied by different interview partners who had to be collected or met at different places. But somehow Agnes managed to plan everything very well so that I could fully rely on the driver on site. The only thing no one could do was help the heavy rain, which sometimes forced us to take detours (washed out roads, closed roads, etc.). The somewhat adventurous search for “Team Lioness” in Amboseli National Park was also successful thanks to a very careful and communicative driver. The accommodations fully met my expectations and it was another wonderful trip. Agnes also negotiated very good discounts for my local guests, so that they could either accompany me on one of the numerous safaris or simply to a delicious meal in one of the many hotels. Train tickets were also bought in advance again and everything worked out just like before.I would like to come back because I enjoy traveling with this company. We were treated as VIPs. Taxi took us to the airport precisely on time. Air conditioned buses , very polite and helpful drivers. Safari was amazing. Chef was preparing very tasteful meals and and really cared to serve our needs throughout our Safari. We felt looked after and all our requests were fulfilled. Very polite and respectful, helpful drivers.
