Incredible experience
I made the Masaai Mara tour for two days and it was the most incredible experience of my life. Everything was great: the car, the freedom, the animals we saw... But, the main thing that contributed to our happines was the guide, Anthony. He was all the time taking care of us, and trying to make the maximum of our stay there. Thank you very much!!!

Excellent safari!
We booked our 4-day Masai Mara/Lake Nakuru safari with Edward after doing extensive online research. Our goal was to see as many big cats as possible, and he assured us that we would see them. It was only the best price but also the best experience of our lives.
I had wanted to go on an African safari for over 50 years, and Edward made my dreams come true.
We could not have enjoyed this safari more. Edward has exceptional communication skills and tons of TLC. He literally held our hands and made sure that we were well taken care of during the whole trip. You too will thoroughly enjoy your adventure with Edward. We hope to see him again.

Review about Tsavo West National Park by Charles Lovely
Having only been once I felt the wildlife numbers were low compared to other parks. One of the contributing factors was the density of arid scrub brush making is difficult to see wildlife. Having the ability to stay at a lodge within the park boundary was a plus.

Review about Masai Mara National Reserve by Charles Lovely
Have been three times in different regions of the park which all felt and looked different as far as scenery, and numbers and types of wildlife and habitats. Not to be missed. The only negatives with this park can be congestion of safari vehicles at locations of big 5 animals, aggressive drivers disobeying park regulations by driving off-road, getting to close, and disturbing animals and cutting other vehicles off who were there previously in order to get their clients close enough to snap pics with their point and shoot cameras and smart phones. Another negative I just thought of—at a certain lodge that I stayed at about eight years ago there were nightly hyena feeding shows where the lodge put kitchen scraps out to entertain the guests. Disturbing, since this reminded me of when Yellowstone National Park had bear feeding shows which was banned over a half century ago.

The only leopard I have ever seen was in this park. Diversity of wildlife and habitat. Flamingos and rhino numbers were sufficient.

Lack of diverse wildlife and habitat. However, I have only visited once.

Kilimanjaro as backdrop, elephants, and that you can stay at lodges within the park boundary.

Nairobi's Backyard Wildlife Park
Having been to most of Kenya's more well known wildlife parks Nairobi NP equally compares to Kenya's top parks for wildlife viewing and photography. I have been to Nairobi NP a few times. In my experience, especially If your staying in or near the city center, arrive at 6am when the park opens to avoid Nairobi's traffic, to be amongst fewer park visitors, to see active and possibly more wildlife, and to use the morning sunlight for optimal photography. What makes this park unique is that you can be driving along in full view of Nairobi's cityscape in the background and in the next minute the cityscape disappears and you feel like you're in the wilderness or bush, miles from any city. The park has a diverse range of habitat also, from dry scrub savannah to lush riparian areas with giant acacias hovering over a perennial river to scenic gorges and rocky outcrops. Besides the park, other must see destinations that are super close to the park's main entrance are the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust and Giraffe Manor—all three can be visited in one day.
