Exceptional, with all aspects of the safari exceeding high expectations
Such a wonderful safari, I really recommend it. It has been a pleasure from start to finish. Jerome was extremely flexible and accommodating with booking, from dates and dietary requirements to answering the smallest queries I had immediately, and the safari itself was wonderful. Our guide Juma was excellent, attentive to our priorities of what we wanted to see, going above and beyond to deliver, whilst remaining chilled and cheerful company. The chef was also excellent, with consistently delicious and varied meals. The campsites we stayed at had everything you could need, along with the jeep itself. I have been fortunate enough to go on some very good safaris previously, and my hopes for this were absolutely exceeded. Thank you Meru Slopes!

Great Safari Experience
We had a great experience and our tour guide Hans was very kind and experienced. He showed us really good spots for animal sightings - at the end of the Safari we saw all of the animals there are in the region.
Also, all the accommodations were very nice and clean!

Brilliant, accommodating and knowlegeable
Olly, the owner/operator, was very accommodating while we were planning the trip, nothing was too much trouble - all the while keeping value for money front and centre. Brian, our tour leader, and his team, made the safari a seamless experience for all of us. The key, we think, was Brian’s knowledge of the area and relationships with other guides who all co-operated on sightings so we saw amazing outcomes - a lion pride resting near a kill with 3 males, 5 females and 4 sub-adult cubs, a leopard close enough to touch using our vehicle as cover, more buffalo, elephant and hippo than we could count. A true trip of a lifetime and we would go back tomorrow.

Memorable family vacation on a shoestring
Jackson and his team arranged a once in a lifetime safari experience for our family group of seven. Jackson was incredibly responsive when we arranged the trip and nothing seemed to be too much trouble for him. He took time to understand our needs and took care to work within our budget. It was great to meet him in person on arrival. Action, our personal cook, spoilt us throughout the trip and his breakfast pancakes will be missed by all when we are home. Our guide, Ali, is very knowledgeable and made sure that we had great sightings in all four the parks that we visited. He has a great sense of humor and the adults as well as the teenagers enjoyed his company and Swahili lessons. Nothing was too much trouble for the Topy team and I wish them all the best for the future.

We had the most incredible two-day safari experience in Tanzania with Akondo Adventure. From start to finish, everything was absolutely flawless. The staff was kind, professional, and incredibly well-organized, and our guide was outstanding—knowledgeable, efficient, and always ready to help with a smile. The itinerary was carefully planned down to the smallest detail. All schedules were respected, and we traveled in complete comfort throughout. We visited the breathtaking Tarangire National Park and the Ngorongoro Crater, both of which left us speechless. Akondo also took care of all our transfers, both at the beginning and end of the trip, which made everything smooth and stress-free. What truly stood out was how the team went above and beyond when we had a personal issue with an external booking. Even though it wasn’t their responsibility, they stepped in immediately and helped us resolve everything without hesitation. Their genuine care and support made all the difference. To top it all off, the lodge where we stayed was absolutely charming—peaceful, beautifully set, and the perfect place to relax after a day in the wild. From airport pickup to camp check-ins, meal stops loved the food and game drives, everything ran like clockwork. The team went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and having the best time.

Assad was very helpful right from the get go. He made sure everything was in order, and once we got going, the guide (Hamsa) was also an incredible host. Individual safari experiences in Tanzania
In July 2025, we fulfilled a long-held dream: we visited Tanzania and experienced a country full of fascinating nature, lovely people, and unusual sights.
Our safari took us to Tarangire National Park, the Serengeti, the Ngorongoro Crater, and Lake Manyara National Park. We will especially remember the overnight camping trips in the Serengeti!
We were very fortunate to have Alex as our guide. Alex proved to be not only a friendly and competent guide, but also a safe off-road driver with excellent local knowledge.
His colleagues also clearly appreciate his open nature – every encounter was characterized by warmth and compassion.
As a trained veterinarian, we felt Alex's love and respect for the animals every minute. This impressed us greatly.
Thanks to his excellent German language skills, we were able to learn a lot about the country, its people, and its nature.
Alex was always open to our individual requests and concerns and fulfilled them with joy and responsibility.
We had great trust in Alex from the very beginning. Even after our onward journey to Zanzibar, he regularly asked how we were.

We cannot thank Serengeti Camping Safari enough for curating such an incredible trip for us. From the moment we landed, everything was perfectly organized. We were warmly welcomed at the airport and felt taken care of every step of the way until our departure.
Anita, the founder, was instrumental in helping us craft our ideal itinerary. She was incredibly responsive and caring throughout the trip, always making sure we were comfortable and well taken care of. On the first day, she and her team met us in person to walk us through the plan in detail and ensure we felt confident and comfortable. On the final day, she met us again to check in and make sure everything had gone well—such a thoughtful gesture that truly stood out.
A special shoutout to Aron, our guide and driver, who quickly became a friend. His deep knowledge, captivating stories, and uncanny ability to spot animals from what felt like miles away turned every drive into a real-life nature documentary.
We were incredibly lucky to spot all of the Big 5—a cheetah family, a leopard pulling its prey up a tree, a pride of lions devouring a fresh kill, a lone black rhino in the distance, and massive buffalo herds. Beyond that, we saw countless elephants, a magical giraffe herd at sunset, zebras, wildebeests, ostriches, crocodiles, hyenas, and even the adorable Poomba!
The hot air balloon safari over Tarangire was a surreal, once-in-a-lifetime experience. We also had the chance to connect with the Maasai community—a humbling and enriching cultural experience.
