Our stay at Greenfire Lodge in Balule Game Reserve was equally amazing. The staff—Carol, Nigel, Ros, Veronica, Crescent, and Glorify—treated us like family from the moment we arrived. Their warmth and hospitality made us feel right at home. The lodge itself was beautiful and comfortable, the perfect place to unwind after a thrilling day in the reserve. The food was delicious, and the surroundings were peaceful and serene—just what you need after a day of excitement.
As for our safari guide, Given, he was truly exceptional. His experience and passion for wildlife were immediately evident. His knowledge of the animals and the land was impressive, and his tracking skills were top-notch. Through his determination, patience, and infectious enthusiasm, we were lucky enough to witness the Big 5 in all their glory—plus hippos, crocs, zebras, hyenas, impalas, duiker, and more! It was like living in a nature documentary, and we couldn't have asked for a better guide to make it all happen. His kindness, humour, and genuine love for the animals made the experience even more special.
I can’t thank Wayne, Given, and the entire Greenfire Lodge team enough for making this trip a dream come true for my family and me. The memories we created will last a lifetime and we did not want to come home!

I cannot express my gratitude enough for all the hard work Julius put in to tailor a memorable bush to beach experience. He managed to organize the trip exactly like I wanted on short notice (2 months in advance). Julius is so easy to communicate with and responds quickly regardless of the time of day. It was great to meet him in person because he is a likable person.
I wanted a mid-range private bush to beach experience, and all the accommodations exceeded my already high expectations. The total price was more than reasonable, I would probably not save anything/very little if I would book everything myself.
The staff in all the accommodations were lovely, the food was more than enough and ranging from good to delicious. The locations were all prime as well.
The car was in top condition, and we never had any issues in the rough terrains. We had a cooler in the car filled with water, juices, beer and wine. It was so much that we did not even get through half of it.
We were so lucky to have Khalid/Khaleed as our guide and driver for the safari. He has a vast knowledge of the flora and fauna, along with top notch driving skills. We never felt unsafe with him behind the wheels. He is also a very laid back and genuine person, which can also be said about Julius.

Unforgettable safari trip
I highly recommend Lappet Faced Safari. The itinerary and meals were well-organized, the pricing was transparent, and WeChat communication was convenient. The guide was very experienced and explained the animals to us. He spoke a little Chinese and was able to see 50 or 60 species of animals, including the Big Five and a cheetah family. We witnessed wildebeest crossing a river, tigers devouring zebras, and vultures feeding on wildebeest. We even fell asleep to the sound of horses neighing at camp... Jocky Tours gave us a great experience! We have visited several national parks (Masai Mara, Lake Naivasha, Lake Nakuru, Hell's Gate, Amboseli). Each was specific and each unforgetable. I will never forget how we found a lion, and Sir Charles could say just from how he walked, that there is another one around, and really, in a few minutes another lion appeared from bushes. Our safari was full of things like that. Observation with understanding, that you can't get from books or movies. Only from direct observation with commentary from a good guide. I also appreciate safe transfer between the parks. It is good to have reliable guide, that can drive safely in challenging traffic conditions. I admire the skill and appreciate. Thank you!
