Unique experience : walking by gorillas, chimpanzees, even rhinos
Our Uganda safari was very well organized by Grassrootz. It was a private 11-day tour that took us to several national parks, with the highlight being encounters with gorillas (be careful, if you're not physically fit, the walk is strenuous but worth it), as well as chimpanzees (you also have to walk, but it's much less difficult), not to mention rhinos (never seen so close in the wild) and even giraffes and zebras (guided walk in the savannah during which you can get up close to these animals). We were able to ask Sander all our questions before and after booking the tour. Our guide, Barnice, guided us very well. He spotted the famous shoebill for us, which is not easy to encounter, and knowing that I particularly enjoyed small bananas, he brought us some the next day as a snack. The accommodations were of good quality, comfortable, and well-equipped, some with spectacular views. The food was always good, even very good (of course, it depends on your taste), with always a vegetarian option for those interested. Uganda may be less renowned for safaris than Kenya or Tanzania, but it's up to you to discover it. The country and its people are certainly worth it.

I felt so comfortable throughout the whole trip. Right after we landed, Mike, Elijah, and Sally from the travel agency warmly greeted each of us, which made us feel really welcomed. During the Nairobi city tour, Elijah patiently told us all about the city and was super friendly.
Our safari guide, Paul, was amazing. He’s the kind of guide who answers all your questions but never talks too much. Even with those long drives every day, I felt totally at ease. Whenever we spotted animals, he always tried to get us the best view and shared lots of interesting facts about them. He never rushed us or seemed impatient—he just waited while we enjoyed the moment and took as many photos as we wanted.
One thing that really touched me happened in the Maasai Mara. A driver ahead of us got stuck in the mud with passengers, and while other safari cars just drove past, Paul asked if we were okay with stopping. Then he got out to help, even though he ended up getting himself all muddy. He didn’t complain at all—he’s genuinely such a kind person. And when we shared some snacks with him, he enjoyed them so happily that it made us smile too.
I’d definitely recommend Paul and this team to anyone planning a trip to Kenya!

Absolutely a great experience. The Kilimanjaro Umoja Tours team was amazing, professional, went above and beyond in service and giving climbers the best chance of success by being super attentive to the needs of individual climbers. Everyone from the tour planner (Roster) to the guides (Juma and Elia) to the assistant guides to the chef and all the support staff/porters were absolutely the best and very professional. Highly recommend Kilimanjaro Umoja Tours and the Kilimanjaro experience.

Flexible and attentive
Steven organised an amazing trip for us visiting the Arusha area.
We did a three day trek up Mt Meru which was incredible. Our guide Juma matched the trip perfectly to our abilities and we were able to summit on day 2 with incredible views. Giraffes at the bottom when we were walking off the mountain was really cool.
After we went for a 5 day safari to Tarangire, Serengeti and Manyara. Our guide Amry made sure we saw everything we could have hoped for! Lions, cubs, cheetah, baby cheetah, leopard all included - an amazing experience. We had one small breakdown in the jeep that was fixed efficiently meaning we continued our journey in good time.
Also felt our trip was good value for money and all accommodation organised was brilliant.

Absolutely amazing safari experience! Excellent tour guide and very knowledgeable. Lodge accommodations were very good. Great food. We saw so many animals in their habitat up close, including the Big 5. It was an awesome 3 day safari and I highly recommend this Zamunda tours!

We booked the 5 days group safari via TripAdvisor (book directly at Suricata Safaris, it will be cheaper than trough TripAdvisor!)
The first 4days we drove with Adam and the last day with Golden. Both of them have a big knowledge about the animals and see them way before you spot them with the binocular.we had an amazing and unforgettable time. Adam and Golden are very kind and respectful and are trying everything to make it a good trip for you. Also the food was SO nice, we enjoyed everything very much.

The touring company gave a very detailed overview of our trip schedule and was prompt in clearing all doubts. The suggestions by them for the stay, number of days to spend at each place and what all animals we would be likely to view was very helpful. All our stays we're comfortable with cheerful staff who made us very comfortable. This has been truly the trip of a lifetime.
