Amazing Adventure
We just returned from a safari in Selous with guide Otto from Gecko Adventure Tanzania. I can happily say that it was truly an extraordinary experience from start to finish. Rama was an excellent host and travel designer; every aspect of the trip was meticulously organized, exceeding our expectations. We are happy with our choice of lodge, as it impressed us with both comfort and location. Otto has visited the park numerous times, so he comfortably guided us to all the incredible spots. The park is pristine with few visitors, making the game viewing experience remarkable. We loved the boat safari and sport fishing on the River Rufiji, as it was truly awesome.

A wonderful family adventure
Patrick at Mateo Travel and Adventure created a fantastic Safari for me and my family.
Renson was our guide and driver who looked after us so well, keeping us safe on the road and in the parks. He worked hard long days making sure we saw as many animals and sights as possible making our experience truly memorable .
We had a mix of accommodation from tented camps to hotels on our journey to three different parks across the central and south of the country, all of which were clean and comfortable.
Patrick is an excellent communicator and kept us fully informed at every step of the planing and implementing stages even coming to meet us in Nairobi when we were in transit to make sure all was well with us.
As we were a family of four covering three generations we had to be aware of the expense, with this in mind Patrick had to plan a trip that offered cost effective value for money without compromising on the experience. Which he managed with flying colours.

This was the most rewarding and incredible experience I have ever had - and it is truly all thanks to kiliclimb. From the very beginning, Janeth made sure I felt informed and asked every question I had regarding logistics - even before I booked. They truly want you to feel comfortable with what you are embarking on, calming you and providing you with every resource they can think of. At kiliclimb, their priority of life first and joy first is so clear. During my second day, I struggled with some bad mountain sickness, and Baraka and Samwell literally help my hair back and cleaned me up while I threw up. Never have I felt more safe and taken care of. These are the most special people and organized team. They came to my hotel to ensure I had everything all set for the trip to ensure I could be successful as possible, and I built such beautiful relationships with all of the porters. A Well-Curated Journey of Contrasts: Comfort, Wildness, Regret, and Surprise
The journey began with our email communication with Irene — her professional, prompt, and precise responses quickly put our minds at ease. About a week before our departure, she managed to book a hotel that had already shown as sold out. We’re truly grateful for such a highly competent team. They even informed the hotels in advance that we were on our honeymoon, and as a result, we received some lovely surprises and scenic dining arrangements.
Our safari guide was Ben — a humorous and knowledgeable professional with nine years of experience. He skillfully navigated through crowded areas to find the best spots for photography, knew countless hidden routes, and had access to a wide network of information. Thanks to him, we saw the Big Five, the wildebeest river crossing, and the Great Migration. His deep understanding of animal behavior and his thoughtful scheduling allowed us to witness wildlife at their most active, while still having plenty of time to rest and take in the moments.
Although we unfortunately didn’t get to see Mount Kilimanjaro due to the weather, the surprises and joy throughout the rest of the trip more than made up for it. It was truly an unforgettable experience — thank you to such a professional and dedicated team.

Outstanding 5-day safari with impeccable planning and a great guide
We had a fantastic five-day safari with our very friendly and knowledgeable guide, Adam, who told us a great deal about the animals and the history of the people and the country. Great stay in Hoedspruit
Great way to experience a Safari in a tent, with animals surrounding during night. The tent has all you need for a comfortable stay, like bathroom with toilet and hot water, airco and nice beds. Lizle was a great host, making sure we felt at home and served very nice food.
