One of the best experiences of my life
I had never been interested in going on a safari, but once I decided to visit South Africa, it became a must-do on my list.
No regrets—it was one of the most incredible experiences of my life. Being so close to animals in their natural habitat was surreal.
Mo Afrika provided top-notch guides who were knowledgeable, efficient, and excellent at spotting wildlife. Thanks to them, I was able to see the Big Five in just two days in February.
I highly recommend this experience to everyone at least once in their lifetime!

Trip of a lifetime!
**Safari Review: 7-Day Drive Safari in Tanzania**
Our 7-day safari in Tanzania was an unforgettable experience! From the moment we set off, we were immersed in the breathtaking landscapes of the Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, Tarangire, and Lake Manyara. Every day was a new adventure, filled with incredible wildlife sightings and stunning scenery.
Our guide Peter was exceptional—knowledgeable, passionate, a great driver, and always eager to share insights about the animals, ecosystems, and even local culture. Thanks to his expertise, we spotted the Big Five, witnessed a lot of baby animals, and marveled at vast herds of wildebeasts and zebras. His keen eye and deep understanding of animal behavior made each game drive even more exciting.
The accommodations were comfortable and well-situated, offering a chance to unwind after eventful days in the wild. The food was delicious, and the staff at each lodge made us feel truly welcome.
The Ngorongoro Crater left us speechless, with its dramatic landscape and dense wildlife population.
if you wish to visit the Masai boma make sure you make clear your expectations and solve your questions with them before booking the excursion
Overall, this safari exceeded all our expectations. The organization was seamless, the sights were breathtaking, and our guide made the experience even more special. If you’re considering a safari in Tanzania, we highly recommend booking with Migration Venture Africa and ask for Peter—it’s a trip of a lifetime!

Disappointment
Having seen several countries in Africa I was disappointed by what I found in Tanzania. Beautiful landscapes but much more exciting Safaris in other places, all ruined by those who work with tourism and try to squeeze everything they can from tourists. I had a very bad experience with the operators (delays, overcharges, lack of seriousness) and unfortunately this is Tanzania too, you can't ignore this. The sea of Zanzibar is beautiful.
To see animals living in the wild was an experience of a lifetime for us.
We always wanted to travel to Africa and see at least one country and its people, as well as the many animals living there. Our trip was to the Serengeti and lasted 9 nights. We spent three of those nights in a hotel in Arusha. The rest of our trip consisted of traveling each day to see animals and other sights in the Serengeti, and we slept in two lodges and two camps while on Safari.
First, the people of Tanzania are lovely, so welcoming and friendly. Life there is more simple and in many ways admirable. We were privileged to have a knowledgeable and all around great tour guide from Safari Soles.
Our lodging varied, we particularly liked two places. First, Suricata Boma Lodge. And second but equally great- just more rustic, Ang'ata Ngorongoro Camp
The staff at Arusha Farm House made our visit just as nice as could be, and we really liked the food in their restaurant- especially the soups!
The Caldera portion of our tour was spectacular. And we also booked a balloon tour, which turned out to be a major highlight for all four of us. So we highly recommend Safari Soles. by the way, no mosquitos and no Tstse flies in February!!!!!!! Enjoy your trip.

Kenya was an excellent choice
I had a connection in Nairobi and Kenya Airways allowed me to stop-over for a week for a small increase in the fare. I decided to take advantage of this and booked a safari visiting Amboseli and both Tsavo West and East Parks instead of the more famous Maasai Mara area. This turned out to be a good choice because the 3 days of game drives in February were not crowded. Many times it was just the guide and me which allowed for some fantastic close-up encounters at stops along the way. I also had a couple rest days to enjoy the nice hotels and lodges I stayed at.
Even the drives to and from the parks were enjoyable. Passing by buses decked out in all kinds of fabulous decoration and imaginatively named businesses made the time on the road a pleasure. Most of all, I had really nice experiences with people and this most of all makes me want to return someday and see more of this beautiful country.

BEST TOUR FOR UNFORGETTABLE SAFARIS
Starluck Travel is a top notch tour company. They had great, quick communication and provided an amazing safari with excellent accommodations at a great price. We went during February, the low season, and our guide/driver helped us see big cats, hoards of elephants, and more. Our guide, David, provided the best service, going above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable at each point of the trip. Considering the long distances between national parks, comfort is something you can’t compromise.
For those who are birdwatchers, make sure to ask for David Ndirangu! He helped my son see over 120 bird species, truly an amazing person. We had a great time with David for 5 days in Masai Mara and Amboseli.

Real Tent experience for LIFE !
After traveling through South Africa with 53 senior Black ladies, 2 lodges, 4 hotels for 2 weeks! (very enjoyable), I had to do my solo South African exploration. I had choose Mzansi while in NY, knowing nothing about lodge living, I just WANTED A TENT! The entire EXPERIENCE from the pick up at in hannesburg to the flight back to Johannesburg was an adventure I hope to repeat until I'm bounded! I'm so proud of my self for choosing Mzansi! Everything went smoothly! The five hour drive to Kruger's National Park gave me time to rest, reflect, catch up and purchase a authentic zebra skin from one of shops 2 stops during the ride. Most of all the ride introduced me to the vast South African Landscape. The lodge was goregously junglelfied decor from the lodge to the 24 hour pool( bring your own towel). Breakfast and dinner is included,(steak was delicious). You choose the number of nights/safaris and sleeping quarters. The tents surpassed my expectations, it was roomy, air conditioned, hot shower and bathroom had plenty of suitcase space, coffee maker and maid service. Enjoyed all of it, I decided to fly back to Johannesburg 30 min fly. airport 45 min from lodge. drive was arranged by the lodge. next trip it will be a round trip flight! NEXT TIME - THE TENT AGAIN!

Amazing Memories delivers on their name
Amazing Memories did an incredible job with my photography focused tour of Kenya. The tour they designed for me gave me a wide range of exposure to the different environments of Kenya and maximized my opportunities to see animals. The tour took into account my interests and lodging was great. For example Ol Pejata offered good opportunities for rhinos where they are less common in Masaai Mara. My guide, Francis, was a complete hero. He managed to find all the big cats, including the elusive leopard, and Big 5. We also saw some of the more rare animals like serval cat, jackals, hyenas, etc. I really appreciated that Francis considered my interests. I said I am also a birder, he would stop to point out birds that I was interested in seeing, like the lilac-breasted roller and Secretary bird. Three other really impressive momments were when he suggested an adjustment to our itinerary so we maximized chances of finding leopards and explained options to me; when he said he did research the night before our drive in the Mara and we found two prides of lions, a leopard, and a family of cheetahs; and when the cats were moving and he said he knew where to go to get us in front of them instead of behind them.
