Our trip to Kenya with Daylight Adventures & Safaris was truly one of the most magical and memorable experiences we’ve ever had. From the moment we started planning, Misaro ensured that every detail was taken care of, making the entire journey smooth, stress-free, and enjoyable for everyone in our group.
We were a family of 10 spanning three generations, including my grandparents, and Misaro made sure that every aspect of our trip was accommodating to our diverse needs.
Our adventure took us to some of the most beautiful locations in Kenya, starting with Lake Nakuru. From there, we traveled to the iconic Masai Mara, which was undoubtedly one of the highlights of our trip. The sheer beauty of the savannah, the incredible wildlife sightings, and the expertise of our guides made the experience unforgettable.
While on safari, we had two cars to ensure everyone’s comfort. Julius, the driver for my grandparents, went above and beyond to make sure they had a smooth and comfortable journey, which we greatly appreciated. I rode in the car with Ken, and I cannot thank him enough for making the experience truly magical. His knowledge of the wildlife, passion for the safari, and friendly demeanor made every moment special. We were able to see some of the most incredible animals up close, and both Ken and Julius’s expert tracking skills ensured that we didn’t miss out on any key sightings.
The wildlife encounters were undoubtedly the pinnacle of our trip. On our first day in the Masai Mara, we were fortunate to witness the Big Five.
Observing a leopard relaxing on a tree branch, with a fresh kill, was a sight that encapsulated the raw beauty and power of the wild. The rhythmic march of elephants across the plains, their silhouettes set against the beautiful land was both humbling and exhilarating. The sheer diversity and proximity of wildlife in the Masai Mara provided an immersive experience that deepened our appreciation for these magnificent creatures and their ecosystems.
After our safari experience, we continued our journey down to Makindu Gurdwara, a significant and peaceful place that was deeply meaningful for us to visit. From there, we made our way to Mombasa, where we enjoyed the stunning coastal scenery and relaxed by the ocean.
Misaro was able to arrange all the water sports activities that my family wanted to do.
One of the things that stood out the most was Misaro herself as she ensured exceptional customer service and attention to detail. We were lucky enough to meet Misaro whilst we were shopping at the Maasai markets in Nairobi, and she helped us bargain and navigate the stools.
While on the safari, my brother unfortunately smashed his phone. Elvis stepped in and arranged to have it collected once we returned to Nairobi, and to our surprise, they even had it fixed the very same day!
Additionally, my grandparents decided last minute that they wanted to visit a friend in Mombasa. Despite the sudden change in plans, Misaro quickly arranged for a driver, ensuring that their trip was seamless. It was moments like these that truly set Misaro & Daylight apart from any other travel company I’ve experienced—their willingness to accommodate unexpected requests and go the extra mile for their clients was exceptional.
Our parents were so captivated by the beauty of the East African coast that they decided to plan another trip to Zanzibar for my mum’s 50th birthday in March. Once again, Misaro was there to assist, helping them book a hotel and even securing a discount, making the trip even more special.
Overall, our holiday with Daylight Adventures & Safaris was nothing short of extraordinary. From the well-planned itinerary to the reliability of the drivers, the expertise of the guides, and the thoughtful customer service, every aspect of our trip was handled with care and professionalism.
I will definitely be booking with Misaro again in the future, and I have already recommended them to my friends. Gorilla Sensation
We had a wonderful time visiting the Gorillas at Biwindi NP. People were extremely friendly, the vegetation was great, Rainforest mainly at this area. We booked with https://www.epicugandavacation.com/ and travelled with Godwin, who took care of us marvelously. We will come back for another visit to Uganda, to see more of the country and the friendly people.

Raymond knocks it out of the park!!!
We were impressed by Raymond right off the bat. His promptness, engaging personality and knowledge of the National Parks roads and wildlife were top notch. He was also very friendly and inquisitive asking about our family and my photography hobby. He was genuinely interested in the photography aspect so I gave him a camera to try and showed him some pointers of which he was very receptive. His job as a safari guide gives him an excellent opportunity to capture some of nature’s most beautiful events. Thanks to Raymond this was the adventure of a lifetime for us and we look forward to another safari in the future. We hit home run with Raymond and are truly grateful, thanks Raymond.

I strongly advise against booking with this company. We have been trying to recover our refund through the Tourism Police and Regional Commissioner, but the process has been very difficult. Please exercise caution and thoroughly research before making any payments.

Amazing experience, great guide
We had a great trip to Amboseli, Tsavo West and tsavo East with our driver Morris, who shared a lot of fun facts during our gamedrive. Would recommend to ask for him 😉. When planning your trip carefully read the iternary, as it might differ a bit from what's posted online 😅

A trustworthy and cost-effective travel agency
We chose Super African Eagle travel agency this time and were really lucky. The 10-day trip was well planned, intense and exciting. The food and housing were excellent, and I experienced a great value for money. Every hunt was a wonderful one. Our guide and driver, Brian, was very knowledgeable and especially skilled at driving. The entire hunting process tries to find the best vantage point for us to observe and introduce the habits of the various animals. This safari in Africa will be unforgettable for the rest of our lives. After I return home, I will introduce my friend to your company, which is sure to be worth the money.

Excellent Tour and Guide
Our safari experience with Noel and African Sunrise Travel was nothing short of spectacular. Noel, our guide, was incredibly knowledgeable and skilled at spotting wildlife, often finding animals that the other vehicles missed. His ability to get us closer to the action allowed us to witness moments up close, all 3 cats to the smallest of dung beetles. He made the entire experience even more enjoyable by sharing fascinating facts about the animals and their habitats. African Sunrise Travel provided top-notch service, and Noel truly made the adventure unforgettable. We would highly recommend both noel and African Sunrise Travel for anyone seeking a thrilling, informative, and up-close safari experience.

A very pleasant and well planned program.
This was a very good trip, well planned, nice meals and a guide who knew everything about the national parks. The camps were nice and clean. You don’t have to worry about anything. The only thing to be aware of, is tipping. Some are expecting to be tipped, especially the cook and the guide. Otherwise a great trip.
