Saddam made our six‐day Axis Africa Safari truly unforgettable. From the moment we met him in Nairobi, his warmth, humor, and constant alertness put us at ease. As our driver‐cum‐guide in a Toyota Land Cruiser, his expert handling of rugged tracks and sudden wildlife sightings kept us safe while giving us front‐row seats to Kenya’s wonders.
His knowledge of Amboseli, Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru, Naivasha, and Nairobi was encyclopedic—he effortlessly wove fascinating facts about ecosystems, Maasai culture, and birdlife into every game drive. He kept the vehicle impeccably clean, stocked with cold drinks and binoculars, and was always eager to try new viewing spots in search of the Big Five. Thanks to his persistence, we saw lions three times, caught a magnificent leopard sighting, and even enjoyed multiple elephant herds at close range.
When a local demonstration blocked our route one afternoon, Saddam managed the unexpected hurdle with calm courage—negotiating passage safely and keeping everyone comfortable. His friendly rapport with fellow guides and drivers smoothed every transition and even helped other guests when they needed assistance. He cheerfully advised us on dos and don’ts throughout our journey, ensuring we respected traditions and stayed safe.

We (a family with two teenagers) can highly recommend King Solomon Safari to everyone! Solomon always answered our questions promptly. The entire process, from the transfer in the middle of the night to the safari and subsequent cultural excursions, ran perfectly and was of top quality. The price/performance ratio was absolutely justified. Our guide Erick, who accompanied us during the five days of safari, was a stroke of luck for us. Thanks to him, we saw not only all of the Big Five, but many more, such as a serval cat, countless lions and lionesses, and a mother cheetah with four cubs. Chilled drinks and two pairs of binoculars were freely available in the jeep, and the lunch was also delicious. The accommodations were very tastefully chosen and of good quality. At the start of the trip, we all received a T-shirt with the King Solomon logo, which we wore with pride. The company is still small, but that's precisely why you're not just a number; everything is very personal and very personable.

Scenic adventure
Serengeti Smile exceeded all expectations, going above and beyond in every way. The drivers, John and Suma, were knowledgeable, friendly and skilled. They knew where to look and how to anticipate wildlife interactions. We saw all of the big 5, crocs attacking wildebeest during the great crossing, a lion hunt and a mating session, a leopard with its kill, and numerous other amazing creatures in nature. Seeing this with your family is a trip to remember. The camps were lovely and a nice respite after long days of safari. They also handled some of our difficult changes like when someone got sick. In all you will be in great hands, well cared for.

We really enjoyed the tour and managed to see everything we wanted. I highly recommend visiting the region — it’s truly worth it. Our guide Rashid was incredibly attentive, helpful, and played a key role in making our trip unforgettable. I strongly recommend traveling with him!

Loved the safari with Kilipath African Safari, Highly recommend them
I did a private safari with Kilipath (group of 4) for 6N/7D. Great communication, best prices, comfortable & clean accomodation. Our tour guide was Mali, who has over 15 years of experience and great knowlegde of the wildlife in the area. He shared many interesting stories and went out of his way to spot the animals/birds and share interesting facts about them. It was a great experience (though we were lucky enough to see 3 of the Big 5). I especially recommend Mali for his depth of knowledge, determination to spot elusive animals & pure kindness.
Note: If it's your first time doing safari, I suggest choosing just 1-2 national parks (Serengeti & Ngorongoro). Tanzania is a big country , with quite some distance between each parks and roads can be bumpy & hence very tiring.

Very well organized and great tour itinerary
I was in a group of 8 other travelers that we were very well suited to each other. Everyone including the guide was knowledgeable and very interested in all aspects of the tour. The tour guide was also the driver and had very pertinent knowledge of the areas we went to. The itinerary was fairly well paced. Most days we were at our hotel by mid-afternoon. The lodge accommodations were unique and quite rustic in some cases. Staff at those accommodations were very dedicated and pleasant.

Awesome Safari Tour
