The Lion King Adventure helped making our experience in Tanzania magic!
5/5

We did a customized 5 days safari encompassing Lake Marynara, Ngorogoro Crater and North Serengeti to see The Great Migration.
We flew from Arusha to Lake Marynara. After landing we went on a game safari in Lake Marynara, had a picnic and them our guide drove us to Melia Ngorogoro, that in located on the ring of the crater and has spectacular views of the whole crater. Next day we did a game safari in Ngorogoro Crater (amazing!) and after spending the night in Meliá we flew next morning to North Serengeti (about one hour flight) and that saved a lot of time of time and bumping road.
In North Serengeti we saw millions of gnus, zebras and many lions, cheetahs, crocodiles etc... The horizon is infinite and the landscape is different from what we had seen in the Lake and in the Crater. Serengeti has 14.000 Km2 and it is the size of North Ireland. It is a huge park.
We slept 2 nights in a lodge there, a kind of camping with wi-fi and hot bath. Our wooden tent was super comfortable. Good food, very nice people, good service. The lodge didn´t have fence or any kind of protection. Simple and comfortable. I loved it!
We were a group of 4 people and one of the group had the patient to wait for the river crossing of the gnus. The rest of the group only say millions of gnus crossing the fields and the road. The gnus are in symbiosis with the zebras. One specie (gnus) can smell the enemy and the other (zebra) can see the enemy far away.

Everything was perfect: booking, logistics and execution. All communication had been done by e-mail and registered in one single “long” company e-mail. It worked! It works! Everybody keeps track of the conversations and the changes until the final itinerary and price.
Headquartered in Arusha, I had a conference call with Maria, responsible for planning and booking before closing my Bespoke Itinerary.
Excellent service, excellent vehicles, excellent game guides!

Moses made our trip exciting!
5/5

We are a retired couple, and traveled through Kenya, Tanzania, Tarangire, and Serengeti with Moses adn Goodluck as our private drivers. Our priority was wildlife photography of a variety of animals and landscapes. We were constantly amazed at what we saw and in particular the knowledge and expertise of our Moses and Goodluck, who supplied a very predictable schedule of sightings and experiences. We did daily game drives and also visited conservancies, small towns and a traditional tribal village, a souvenir shop or two, a lake boat ride for photographing water birds, and a hot air balloon ride over the Serengeti. We were changing accommodations on an almost daily basis, and always knew the meal and travel schedules ahead of time which completely took any stress out of the equation. The staff at every location were exceptionally friendly and accommodating. An amazing trip, and our photos are spectacular!

An experience of a life time thanks to Amshar Adventures and their great guide Aloise...
5/5

We have spent 5 days, 2 in Serengeti, 1 in Ngorongoro and 2 in Tarangiri and Lake
Maniara..Since from the first time I have contacted Amshar via email, everything went so perfect..Very quick in all the responses..they tailored the itinerary multiple times according to our requests..the accommodations were extremely satisfactory..spending 2 nights at Kon Tiki Camp was the highlight of our safari along with all the animals we came across..but apart from all, our lovely guide Aloise was a gem..he spent so much effort to make sure that we have an unforgettable experience..A leopard with his prey on a tree, lions chasing gazelles, hyenas, hippos, crocodiles, cheetahs..and many more...he answered all our questions relentlessly...we enjoyed every second of our trip...

Buffalo Safari Camps and my Guide Emma were really great. Excellent organization and Guide.
5/5

I recently (2025) traveled on a four-week road trip in Uganda, organized by Buffalo Safari Camps, visiting several National Parks and Forests. Had a super-fun trip. We focused primarily on the Western parks. Tim (owner of Buffalo Safari Camps) provided excellent pre- and during-trip bookings for accommodations and specialty-activities. My Guide/Driver was Emma, and he was superb every step of the way—an excellent and very careful driver (and mechanic who carries his own tools), navigator, game-spotter, organizer and companion. Emma is a native Ugandan, and is proficient in the various Ugandan languages and seems to know most of the people personally. He is a very experienced professional and respected as one of Uganda’s best overall Guides. Highly recommended.

Everything was great
5/5

We went on a 5-day safari: Mara, Nakuru and Naivasha. The safari was organized at the highest level from start to finish. The company axis africa safari met us halfway, allowing us to pay for the safari on the spot, which was very important for us.
Our guide was Raymond. Throughout the entire time, our guide demonstrated high professionalism and care for all participants. With him, we saw the big five in the first two days, as well as a leopard three times. We completely trusted the guide in all matters and received a sea of impressions from the safari, never worrying about anything else. The program was very rich and interesting, and most importantly, we felt very calm and relaxed.

Reliable and punctual
5/5

We had a great 4 days Masai Mara and lake Nakuru safari. Our tour guide Mr Daniel did an awesome job finding all the big 5 and also answering all our questions throughout the entire trip. Kudos. This trip will definitely be in our lifetime memories thanks to Mr Daniel.

7-day wilderbeast migration safari: What a fabulous experience!
5/5

We opted for the 7-day safari including Tarangire, Serengueti and Ngorongoro as well as the visit to a Masai village. What a fabulous experience! The guide, Nuru, showed all his experience in spotting animals even in the most challenging situations and guiding us to the places where the animals were and to be very very close to them. We had remarcable experiences and Nuru guided us to see all the big 5. Daniel, assumed the translation to portuguese/spanish giving detailed explanations along the way and was responsible by logistic aspects contributing to the very good experience. Both, Nuru and Daniel, were very atentive and diligent to fullfill all our expectations and wishes. We really made a good decision by choosing Meru Slopes and to be in the hands of Jerome that organised the program. We are very thankfull to all of them and if we could we would go tomorrow to repeat the experience.

Fantastic safari with papa John
5/5

We just came back from an unforgettable 6-day safari across three parks, and it was one of the best trips we’ve ever done. Each park had something different to offer, and we had so many wow-moments seeing animals in their natural habitat.

Our guide, Papa John, was friendly and really knew what he was doing. He made us feel safe and welcome and he shared lots of fun facts without ever overloading us. Sometimes we just sat quietly and enjoyed the surroundings. He had a great sense of when to talk and when to let nature speak.

The lodges were all nice and well located.

I’d absolutely recommend this safari! We felt in good hands the whole way and it was a mindblowing experience.

5-Days 5-Nights Predators Safari
5/5

We had an exceptional experience during our safari. Our itinerary included visits to several famous parks, each offering unique wildlife encounters. Our guide, (Rajab Omer), was incredibly knowledgeable about the parks, the animals, and all game drives. He took great care in ensuring we had ample opportunities to explore and successfully helped us spot all members of the “Big Five.” One of the highlights was witnessing the amazing migration and river crossing of the wildebeest across the Mara River. Our accommodations throughout the trip—ranging from hotels and lodges to tented camps—were consistently comfortable and well-appointed. The food options were great, and the service at every location was warm and attentive. I would highly recommend this company and especially Mr. Omer to anyone considering an African safari. It was a truly memorable journey from start to finish.
