Our guide, Edward, was truly exceptional—his deep knowledge, passion for wildlife, and incredible spotting skills made this trip unforgettable. Thanks to him, we witnessed some of the most special and rare sightings: a group of cheetahs in action, lions feasting on a zebra, an incredibly close encounter with a pride of lions, and herds of elephants and zebras moving gracefully across the savannah. Every major animal we had hoped to see was right there before our eyes! Beyond his expertise, it was a pleasure to have him guide us through the days, sharing fascinating insights, answering all our questions, and making every moment even more special.
One of the absolute highlights was the balloon safari over the Serengeti at sunrise—an indescribable experience that gave us a completely different perspective of the vast plains. And to top it all off, we even spotted a rhino, a rare and majestic sight that felt like the perfect finale to our adventure.

I have taken numerous guided trips in multiple countries, and Arnold and Brighton are as good as they get. From the start, communication was clear and responsive. Once we arrived in Tanzania, they made themselves available for anything we needed. The Land Cruiser was stocked with water and other drinks, and they were willing to stop for anything we were interested in. They tailored the tour to our preferences and were always willing to do extra for us. Their pricing was fair, and they genuinely wanted to ensure we had an excellent time. I did an 18 day trip around central and northern Namibia and it was wonderful. I wouldn’t have changed a thing. The trip was incredibly varied, and we travelled through the most extraordinary landscapes, interacted with lots of local people and saw animals in abundance. My guide spotted animals everywhere that I would have missed without his local knowledge and experience. He accommodated changes in the schedule with ease and was friendly but also very professional. In March 2025, we set out on a private safari with Wakanda Tours & Safaris, and from the moment we touched down, everything just clicked. No stress. No confusion. Just seamless execution. Airport pickup? Smooth. Logistics? Handled. All we had to do was sit back and take in the adventure of a lifetime.
Straight into the Wild
First stop: Tarangire National Park. Within minutes, we were face-to-face with giant elephants weaving through towering baobabs, zebras crowding the dusty trails, and giraffes moving like slow-motion poetry against the golden light. It was real. It was raw. And it was just the beginning.
Then came the Serengeti—the beating heart of Africa. And this is where things got intense. Thanks to our phenomenal guide, Edward, we were never just spectators. He knew exactly where to go and when, like he had some sixth sense for wildlife. And it paid off. A pride of lions lounging in the sun, tails flicking, their golden eyes lazily scanning the horizon. Just when we thought we had seen it all, we found cheetahs sprawled out in the golden grass, soaking in the heat, completely unbothered by our presence. Edward didn’t just find the animals—he read their behavior, anticipated their moves, and gave us front-row seats to the most incredible wildlife encounters.
Finally, Ngorongoro Crater—a world within a world. The mist lifted as we descended into the lush, green expanse, teeming with life. Buffalo stared us down, zebras crossed right in front of our car, and the scenery felt like something out of a lost paradise. It was like stepping into another era—untouched, untamed, and absolutely breathtaking.
