Stress Free Safari
Based on our daughter’s highly successful and enjoyable trip with Spirit of Kenya a couple years ago, we elected to utilize them for our African safari adventure. We started working with Vanessa, a Personal Journey Advisor with Spirt of Kenya, and created an itinerary that met our goals and desires. They have some suggested itineraries on their website, but were extremely flexible in designing a trip that best suited our needs. We were initially looking at staying in Kenya, but elected to add Tanzania after studying the options. Once our itinerary was set, we continued to correspond with Venessa all the way to the time of the trip. She was outstanding at answering all our questions and addressing our concerns.
Our safari was completely stress free as Spirit of Kenya saw to every detail from airport arrival to our final departure. We visited six different wildlife parks (Nakuru, Maasai Mara, Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, Tarangire and Amboseli) and stayed at six different lodges or camps. Due to government regulations, we had to change guides when transferring from Kenya to Tanzania and then again when returning to Kenya. The guide transitions and border crossings were absolutely seamless.
All three guides were incredible at personal attention, safari expertise and flexibility for our needs. Phillip, Francis and Danny were all very personable and we thoroughly enjoyed their company. They worked extremely hard and were quite successful in finding what we wanted to see.
The lodges and camps that Spirit of Kenya recommended were all first class and unique in their own ways. The staffs were very welcoming and attentive. We also enjoyed great food at all the facilities.
With all the details and logistics taken care of by Spirit of Kenya, we were able to place all our attention at just enjoying all the amenities that Kenya and Tanzania had to offer. This safari was one of the most stress free and enjoyable trips we have ever taken. We highly recommend utilizing the Spirit of Kenya for your African safari trip.

Innocent, the tour operator from Zerimas Safaris, is a truly outstanding guide. From the moment our
I recently went on an amazing farm trip with a company called Zerimas Safaris. Our tour guide, Innocent, was friendly and knowledgeable, making the experience even more enjoyable. We spent the day surrounded by nature, eating a lot of delicious food prepared on the farm. The fresh air and peaceful environment made it a perfect escape from daily life. One of the best parts was visiting the farm animals—we got to see goats, guinea fowl, chickens, and more up close. It was both fun and educational. Overall, the trip was unforgettable, and I’d gladly go again with Zerimas Safaris

Uganda stole my heart — Deep End Safaris made sure I never wanted it back.
Our month in Uganda would not have been the same without Deep End Safaris. From start to finish, their communication was flawless — every message answered quickly, every question met with kindness and detail. They were always there, anticipating our needs before we even voiced them, meeting our every want and desire with a smile.
The service was simply unmatched. Sam, our incredible guide and organizer, is the gold standard for hospitality. He created an itinerary full of unforgettable adventures, ensured we had the best accommodations, and made sure we were comfortable and cared for every step of the way. Our drivers — Yusuf, David, and Ibra — were equally exceptional, navigating every journey with skill, warmth, and humor while making us feel like family.
Deep End Safaris didn’t just take us through Uganda; they brought Uganda to life for us. Their reliability, attention to detail, and genuine care turned a great trip into the trip of a lifetime. If you’re looking for a safari company that combines breathtaking experiences with the best customer service you’ll ever receive, stop searching — this is the one.

Responded fast and constructively to all stages in the booking procedure.
Four days without a hitch, visiting two iconic sites: Great Zimbabwe and the Matobo Hills. Driver/guide Stuart was there to meet me upon arrival at Bulawayo Airport and it was a comfortable drive of four hours in mostly very light traffic to the Lodge at the Ancient City, accommodation built in the Zimbabwe style amongst woods and the giant boulders perched on hillsides. A lovely setting and the staff were most friendly and helpful.
The morning of Day 2 was spent at Great Zimbabwe. There was a lot to see and, in hindsight, a two-night stay would have been ideal. Much of my time was spent climbing up and exploring the Hill Complex with on-site guide Constance explaining the history and social background of a site built and occupied from 1100 AD to the 1500s AD. The Hill itself was largely the preserve of the Shona ruler and his closest councillors. Its strategic importance was evident as from the summit there were unimpeded views of the countryside in all directions. I was pleased up there to encounter a large group of school-children getting first-hand experience of the history of their people.
We next explored one of the other structures clearly visible from above, the Great Enclosure. Clearly it wasn't a defensive structure such as a fort but instead a means to separate a select group of the elite - perhaps senior wives - from the rest of the population. The Enclosure walls were composed of hundreds of thousands of shaped stones made from the local granite, clearly a huge undertaking.
Mid-afternoon, driver/guide Stuart took me back to the Bulawayo area where I was staying at the Parrot Lodge for the next two nights. The staff were friendly and helpful; the meals were delicious.
Day 3 in its entirety was spent among the Matobo Hills, a World Heritage Site - as is Great Zimbabwe. Local driver/guide Alan drove us to a selection of the most memorable places. First there was a trek through the trees and high grasses to view from a few metres distance but not disturb a family group of white rhinos. Then we headed to a rock shelter beneath an overhang, to admire San art on a section of the walls. Alan is a long-time tracker and pointed out spoor and explained which animals were responsible. In soft sand at the shelter base there were clear depressions in the fine sand: a place where rhinos rested at night.
We next drove up to an area under trees where there were tables for visitors and had an excellent lunch provided by Alan's company. Afterwards a steady but easily manageable climb up the lichen-encrusted granite dome to summit of the hill Malindidzimu and the grave where Cecil Rhodes' body is interred, surrounded by a natural ring of giant boulders. There are splendid vistas in all directions: it was understandable why this was a sacred place for the local peoples.
After time for reflection we descended and their was time to view another of the sites with San paintings, principally of animals and birds.
The whole day, and indeed the whole four days, was a memorable experience. Moreover, excellent value for money.

Fantastic customized services and wonderful team!
We were greeted by Edwin from Taste of Kilimanjaro Adventures upon arrival at Kilimanjaro airport. A team of 8 people, one head guide (Daniel) and one assistant guide (Joshua), porters, and a cook accompanied us throughout the entire 7-day ascent to the summit of Kilimanjaro and the descent. Fantastic teamwork, they provided personalized service, tailored to our needs. The mountain is not at all easy, but they made my 20-year dream come true smoothly and comfortably, despite the difficulties of camping and other activities.
The 3-day Serengeti safari was also very satisfying; the driver, Frank, was very attentive and helpful with the information we requested and he knew the geography of the park very well.
I highly recommend Taste of Kilimanjaro!!! A+!
