Our guide spoke very good German and English and gave us a great insight into the culture, landscape and wildlife of Tanzania.
We decided to add some local activities to our safari like waterfall at Kilimanjaro, own coffee roasting, swimming in natural pools, bicycle tour and Masai village. We visited the well-known national parks in the northern part of Tanzania. Our individual wishes were taken into account very precisely and implemented in the best possible way.
We really appreciate the many years of experience of our tour guide, because we experienced one highlight after another and were amazed.
From large herds of elephants, an active leopard, a feeding pride of lions, a rhino up close, wildebeest migration to several cheetahs and much more we were able to experience. We enjoyed our lunch every day in the countryside, surrounded by breathtaking landscapes and sometimes animals (for example near a herd of wildebeest).
I had an unforgettably wonderful time, with lots of great new experiences and adventures that I will never forget. It was one of the best trips of my life. A safari in Tanzania is worth every penny and I would always choose a private safari again.

What a team, what an experience
Communication with Viva Safaris up to the safari itself was pleasant: Patti responded quickly and helped me in getting the perfect package. The safari itself was to die for: driving on the savannah during sunrise, seeing the whole sky turn orange and red, passing a group of zebras while hearing the roar of a lion further away from the vehicle. I kept thinking 'this won't be my only safari'.
The team itself was nothing short of amazing too: very kind and helpful, amazing food (especially dinners were my highlight, though I would recommend getting something like protein shakes or bars if you want to stick to your daily protein goals. It is possible to reach 100gr on a daily basis, but with the available South African diet you go way up in calories as well. I.e. Billtong has +30gr of protein but is also easily +400 in kcal per 100gr) the catering staff always had the biggest smile on their faces and the rangers/ drivers were always willing to explain during the drives. Also, I had my stay in the Tremisana Lodge and it was very comfortable. A/C available but not needed since I went un June (at night temperatures would be around 12-15C), small fridge, good shower and more than enough space for 2 people.
I would def book again with Viva Safaris, my safari has been amazing thanks to the team and the savannah!

We purchased a 3-day tour of Zanzibar starting from Dar Es Salaam, including Tarengeri, Ngorongoro and Lake Manyara.At the beginning of the tour, Precisionair sent us tickets to fly from Dar es Salaam to Arusha. We were picked up from our hotel in Dar es Salaam right on time. Unfortunately, Precision Air is a very bad airline. Shortly after takeoff, the plane returned to Dar es Salaam. No explanation was given, the plane was broken. We waited at the airline for 6 hours. During this period, Innocent tried to arrange a new ticket for us, but it did not work. Finally, we were able to buy new tickets and fly to Arusha. The tour company covered the cost of the plane ticket we paid.but unfortunately we missed the first day of the tour. İnnocent helped us by giving us a free night's accommodation. We saw the big five rhinos from afar, we could see all of them with that difficulty. It has a wonderful nature in 3 parks, we saw the most animals in Ngorongoro. Lake Manyara is quite small. Instead, a tour with Serengeti can be considered. The things I can say negatively are that we went on safari with different groups in 3 days. This may be related to the day we missed. Also, we left early on the last day due to the flight time of some people in the group from Tarengeri. I would like to thank İnnocent and Majestic Tour for their constructive and polite attitudes throughout this process. The safari was an experience I will never forget in my life.

Our guide, Johny, was extremely professional, considerate, responsible, and sincere. Over the past seven days on safari, we had many wonderful experiences. In the Maasai Mara, we witnessed lions hunting buffalo. In Nakuru, we saw many rhinos, and in Amboseli, we encountered countless elephants. Amazing experience. First time with Spirit of Africa. We were a group of 8 people. We visited Samburu, Ol Pejera, Naivasha and Amboseli during 12 days. All was fantastic. Thanks to Filipa.
