East African Safari and Touring company offer a good balance of budget and luxury
5/5

We went on a Safari with EASTCO as a delayed honeymoon and it was a 12 day trip from Uganda at Entebbe through to Arusha. Simon was very good at communicationg and organising the Safari effectively, and by the time we had paid up we fely confident in the company. The Safari was excellent as importantly bot the driver Cosmas and the Landrover were really good (the former being more important than the latter!) The accomodation was of a good standard and the full service camps were a treat, and probably the most enjoyable part. We saw more wildlife than we could have hoped for and had a once in a lifetime trip. Thanks EASTCO, I'm happy to recommend your services!

Absolute luxury, wonderful staff, great value
Overall rating
5/5

I will keep it brief,
Firstly, the staff were lovely, nothing was too much trouble and they were all very personable.
The food was incredible, the best we had during our 5 week stay in SA.
The safari trips were wonderful, the driver (patrick) was fun and insightful, clearly with a wealth of knowledge.
The price was the biggest shock however, the value for money was second to none, I am already planning another trip.
thanks so much tembe, experience of a lifetime!

Amazing, life changing experience.
5/5

The African safari planned by Grace, was an amazing experience. She was very attentive to our needs, highly professional, and a pleasure to,work with. Once we arrived in Tanzania, our guide David was a joy. Not only is he extremely knowledgable about the animals, parks, and culture, he is a lot of fun to be with. We enjoyed every moment we spent with him.

I highly recommend Awaken to Africa.

The best Safari in Uganda
4/5

My name is Anna from USA together with my husband Collin have completed a 10 days primate tour safari with Gatatu Safaris,It has been a very nice safari with our guide George is the most guide we think he could provide with clients correct information, he took us through various national parks in Uganda and Queen Elizabeth together with Bwindi Impenetrable National park has been our best adventure where we saw gorilla’s and Game drive around Queen Elizabeth!

While around lake bunyonyi,we slept at birdnest and food production was the best however we visited the community around lake bunyonyi where we spent a day with Mwendo needy children and orphan project of which Gatatu Safaris support actually sponsored a child which has been our dream for his Education

With our good experience with Gatatu Safaris as a travel company in Uganda, we highly recommend them with their good experience they offer, we have booked another safari for our daughters with Gatatu,we are leaving Uganda soon but we hope to come back!

Efficient company run by people that fiend client satisfection important
4/5

My husband and I visited Tanzania during 10 days in the rain season this year. There was plenty of healty looking wildlife (because of the rain season), everything was nicely arranged by African Heart Expeditions: the car and the very carefull driver, always good humoured and ready to help and to stop whenever asked, the mid-range/budget camps and lodges, staffed with friendly people, very clean and nice food.

An outstanding company with an outstanding experience
5/5

I booked a gorilla trek in Rwanda for May 26-29 through Safari Partners. Although excited about the trip, I was totally unprepared for the incredible experience it would entail. I was picked up at the airport by my guide Eric and had, TRULY, the experience of a lifetime. The hotel in Kigali was quite luxurious and the buffet breakfast by the pool delicious. I was given an impromptu city tour which reflected where the city had been and the evidence of where it was going - the development of new neighbourhoods and housing gave a positive picture of a country almost reinventing itself. Eric was attentive to giving a great overview of this country in which he had obvious pride and showed government initiatives reflective of a successful evolving country. The Genocide Museum, although heart wrenching at times, is a MUST see.
The drive to the Gorilla Lodge showed Rwanda in all its natural beauty - my guide allowed stops to photograph stunning scenery and gave extensive, informative answers to all questions.
The Gorilla Lodge provided excellent food and accomodations with attentive staff - the hot water bottle to warm the sheets in the cool mountain air was much appreciated. Before supper, guests were treated to a performance from local school children - what a treat it was especially the performance of a lion dance!
The gorilla trek itself is life-changing - no one who comes eye-to-eye with our gentle relatives can be anything but awestruck. The parenting of babies by the females and the antics of the juveniles under the watchful supervision of the patriarchal Silverback was awe-inspiring - that they have forgiven humans for past transgressions is a credit to THEIR evolution. The obvious relationship of the trackers with their gorilla charges was a priviledge to witness.
I would consider Safari Partners as a first choice for any future planning for trips. The gorilla experience is NOT to be missed either as a sole endeavour or added to a planned safari - it WILL change you!

Small family-run but highly professional business
5/5

After excellent safari's in South-Afrika, Botswana and Namibia we did not expect too much of another safari in Tanzania (we basically went to meet some friends coming from another country): but what an experience it was. We saw, during our 8 day safari (in Tarangire NP, Seringeti NP and Ngorongoro NP), a lot of wildlife and the scenery was overwhelming. The driver/guide was highly professional, we stayed in good tented camps and lodges. The lunch box prepared by this company is the only one containing a small bottle of wine, which is very nice. We went at the beginning of the rainy season and we enjoyed this very much: no dust and not too many insects, and less tourists. We would like to go back and visit some other NP and we will do that with the same company.

A beautiful, fantastic experience for all of the senses that changed my life forever!
Overall rating
5/5

I believe that this trip could not have been more perfect. The weather was luscious, as was the food. We stayed in 5 star hotels and I am sure I would have been as happy in 3 star based on my love of the scenery and wildlife. The food was amazing, the wine was even better.

I believe Mala Mala is dearest to my heart because of its history. I had read Paul Theroux's book and particularly loved the chapter about Mala Mala. Our guide was knowledgeable to the extreme! (Thanks, David) --

I also thought that not using trackers at Mala Mala was very interesting and made the guides work that much harder at appeasing all the guests needs.

I wish I could have stayed longer. I believe I will be back.
