The Trip of a Lifetime!
I had dreamed of visiting Africa for 45 years, ever since I was 6 years old. When I was finally able to begin planning my long awaited trip, I researched the countless operators extensively.
I wanted a company with a proven track record of delivering bespoke, individualized itineraries suited for what I specifically wanted to see in my dream safari. I didn't want a package deal put together for just any tourist.
I'm incredibly blessed to have found the great people at Shadows of Africa. My point person for 9 months was Karen Maki who was very knowledgeable and tailored a beautifully curated tour hitting my main focus areas: the Great Migration, a River Crossing, the Big 5, the Maasai Mara, the Serengeti, the Ngorongoro Crater, Lake Manyara, and Lake Amboseli.
During those 9 months, she patiently revised and changed lodging and accommodations until they were just right. I can't thank her enough for her patience, professionalism, and flexibility.
I had incredibly high expectations for this trip and Shadows of Africa delivered in every way.
I want to specifically thank our guides: Anthony, Zamo, and Charles.
We spent the most time on our trip - about 8 days - with Zamo, and he is an exemplary guide. Without him, our adventure wouldn't have been anywhere near as incredible as it was.
Zamo is an extraordinary safari leader, supremely knowledgeable about the wildlife, their behaviors, territories, and the landscape. His skill in anticipating and predicting animal movements put us in the exact right spot for remarkable encounters dozens of times.
Most incredible of all, I told him that my biggest dream was to see one of the legendary wildebeest river crossings. I knew it was difficult to see one and there was no guarantee, but thanks to Zamo's expertise, tenacity, and perseverance, he put us front row to an absolutely breathtaking crossing of thousands of wildebeest across the Mara River from Tanzania into the Maasai Mara in Kenya.
It was one of the most beautiful moments of my life and I owe it all to Zamo Tito. He is a credit and an asset to Shadows of Africa.
Were there some hiccups? Of course. There are bound to be a couple in journeys of this length and complexity, but Shadows and their personnel handled everything in due course.
I highly recommend Shadows of Africa. Don't hesitate in using them to book your dream African safari!

The guide was flexible to accommodate our timings and very funny.Taught us so much about the animals
The trip was amazingly packed that accommodated to everything we wanted to see and do. Went from amboseli to serengeti east and south. Saw every animal in the big 5 except the rhino ass those are very rare. The whole tour we had a lot of space and rooms to relax and unwind in. The jeep was fully loaded with a fridge for drinks and food was provided every day. All in all an amazingly comfortable trip.

Fun and good
The tour guides Thomas and samson were really nice and we saw so many animals! It was really fun. the hotels were really comfortable 👌 I recommend going to amboseli then to serengeti.its a bit tiring but it was fun. Personnaly I love the cheetahs and the zebras, but if you go to amboseli you will see alot and I mean alot of elephants. Now in the serengeti was so many lions so many but there's also many cheetahs, leopards, and alot of other stuff. So in all conclusion it was really nice and there's nothing wrong with this at all super good 👌🤌🤌👌👍👍

Wonderful fun adventure through Kenya and Tanzania!
We had an unforgettable experience through the Serengeti and Amboseli National Park. Coming from Malaysia, a country where we have a wide variety of animals (orang utans, sun bears, elephants, tigers, etc.), we still were amazed at the animals we saw.
From seeing a Cheetah guide her 4 cubs to seeing over 10 lions sleeping by a tree (while we were right next to them!), there's nothing quite like a Tanzanian and Kenyan Safari.
Our tour guides were all high experienced and had impressive driving skills and knowledge to get us through the Sandy landscape. They were all really friendly.
Hotels and tents themselves were really nice too especially Dove in the Serengeti (which felt more like a luxury glamping site than a tent site).
Overall, looking back on the experience there's nothing quite like a Safari. It's a once in a lifetime experience that everyone should experience.

The tour at all am real excited with Kilinge adventures since am given the more and Good services.
My experience with Kilinge Adventure on the Lemosho Route was nothing short of spectacular! Our guide, Samora, was incredibly knowledgeable and kept our spirits high throughout the trek. The diverse landscapes, from lush forests to rocky terrains, were breathtaking. I was joined by Clara from Italy and James from Australia, and we formed a fantastic bond over our shared challenges. Kilinge Adventure truly prioritizes safety and comfort, making them a top choice for anyone looking to climb Kilimanjaro. I highly recommend them for an unforgettable journey.

Great Experience
We had a great time on our safari tour. Our guide Mtinangi really showed full commitment to show us as many animals as possible. We always felt safe and were able to learn a lot about the animal world through his extensive knowledge. It was indescribable!
Our chef Yusuf also prepared super delicious food for us every day. He also responded to our wishes and surprised us every day with his cooking skills.

First and majestic experience in Masai Mara
I went on a 3-day group safari in Masai Mara with Kentau Safaris. Actually other tourists booked the tour from all different companies. But we did game drives with the same driver and in the same vehicle. What made Kentau Safaris special was that Dominic, the director of the company, answered my questions promptly and thoughtfully. I asked him a lot of questions because there was something confusing during the trip which was found out to be quite obvious in Africa, and he managed to answer my questions every time.
Although I couldn't spot animals such as cheetahs and leophards, our driver called Michael was absolutely skillful in driving that we didn't have to face any dangerous situations. I could see so many animals other than those I mentioned earlier. I would highly recommend Kentau Safaris, and thank you Dominic once again.

An Unforgettable Safari Adventure
This safari exceeded all our expectations. We were thrilled to see an incredible number of animals in their natural habitat—at least 6 cheetahs, 2 leopards, and multiple lions—along with many other amazing species. The guide Lawrence from Leopard Orchid were knowledgeable and made sure we had the best viewing opportunities. The landscapes were breathtaking, and every moment felt like a scene from a wildlife documentary. Highly recommend this safari to anyone who loves nature and wildlife. A truly once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Committed to the best experience
Our experience was amazing. Everything was well organised. We had some trouble with our vehicle during the initial hours and they all took care of us and making sure we would not lose time. So for a few hours they managed to get us in another car so that we continued on our way and in the meanwhile Arsene (our guide) stayed behind to take care of the car. He then joined us later with the repaired car and we continued as if nothing has happened.
Arsene was amazing, he really took good care of us. He was friendly, professional and very caring. Spending four days going around in a car with a person can become intense but with him everything was smooth. He understood when we wanted to engage in conversations or when we just wanted to rest. Thank you Arsene, we will really always remember you!
When the car broke down, the other guides also took care of us, Peter and Thomas, and they were also amazing, friendly and very professional!
The experience was beautiful, life changing. Thank you Kimgoni!
