Great visual and social experience
5/5

Our three day safari in Kruger was one of the best experiences of our trip: we had a couple of very lucky sightings, including a lion roaming right next to the road and a number of hyenas trying to muster up a fight against a lion. We only saw 4 out of the big 5 but our guide that day hustled really hard to try and find us the last (leopard). The tour was well-organized and we felt well-taken care of. The bush meal on the first night and the tree house living on the second were two really nice touches. We also met a lot of people over our three days, all of whom were really fun and interesting; it was a pleasure crossing paths with them. My only complaint would be that the tour is billed as three days, even though you don't do anything except a short walk before returning home on the third day.

adventure of a lifetime
5/5

The communication from Tanzania explorer (Sondre in particular) was absolutely incredible. He was so prompt with his replys and always explained the details very clearly. We received a very detailed itinerary which I really appreciated and the staff were so polite and helpful. Our safari was brilliant we were collected at airport and didn't have to worry about anything from arrival to departure. Our safari driver Sam was one of the best in the park and found the lions without any problem

Awesome Easter Safari at the Mara
5/5

This year's Easter Holiday was one unforgettable one, courtesy of you guys. My family had an awesome experience in the Mara, at very reasonable rates. The organization, facilitation, coordination and hospitality was so on point. Keep it up!

An amazing experience!!
5/5

An amazing experience
Our Kenyan safari with Khanga Safaris was a once in a lifetime experience. What an amazing safari that Kenya offered, and what an excellent experience our tour company provided for us. We saw the big 5 and A LOT more...there was no animal of these majestic creatures of Kenya that we hoped to see which we were unable to in 7 days. Our tour guide Benson was very friendly, fun, and very helpful not just during the safari but also when we were checking in for lodging, food, and so forth. Lawrence the tour coordinator was very helpful and generous to help us in needs outside of our itinerary, such as going for a Maasai village visit and a boat ride at Lake Naivasha. The lodging had everything we needed. We could not have asked for a better safari, and a better vacation. Shall surely come back and choose Khanga Safaris again!

Perfect. Efficient, reliable, punctual and friendly!
5/5

I booked a permit to see the mountain gorillas at Mgahinga N.P. with Gatatu Safaris and everything was sorted out for me with real professionalism and the staff demonstrated experience and understanding of clients' requirements. Richard, the tour operator, was patient with my requests for a safe, reliable driver and of course a gorilla tracking permit which was obtained at short notice. Stephen, the driver, was punctual and friendly, getting me to and from the park safely. Most impressive of all was the attention Gatatu paid to the client. I met with both Richard and Stephen several times before the trip to ensure everything was planned to perfection. I'd recommend Gatatu to anyone wanting to see the incredible gorillas in Uganda.

The whole country is like a zoo, with abundant wildlife, preserved well for tourists to enjoy and respect. Big Five can be easily spotted. I saw over 30 types of animals and countless unique birds too. I'd love to return to Kenya to visit other national parks. Just be aware of the souvenir shop owners along the drive from Nairobi to the parks and Masai women at the park gates who are way too eager to sell crafts to tourists. Definitely bargain and start at 30-40% of the asking price. NBO airport needs a makeover.

The serene lake is the grazing ground for many herbivores, from white rhinos to zebras. I saw so much wildlife in two drives--before sunset and after sunrise, where were the best times to spot animals. The weather was gorgeous in Feb, although very cold in the morning so gear up and wear a down feather jacket and a scarf. The tour operator we booked with put us at a guesthouse inside the park. It's a no frill place but secure with fences around the property. The tour company also dispatched a chef to cook for us. The food was okay but we were not too demanding nor picky anyway. The mini van from the tour company was outdated and very bumpy on dirt roads and unpaved paths. I wish it was a Jeep with better suspension system. Our guide was knowledgeable and great at spotting animals for us to see.
