Reliable efficient tour organiser
BST Tours booked me into two different game lodges, in Pilansberg and in Madikwe Game Reserves, and arranged pick up in Johannesburg, transfer between the two lodges, and return to Johannesburg. I have mobility restrictions, and they tailored my visit to my requirements. Tanya from BST was very careful to listen to what I needed and find solutions. When the Madikwe lodge later had to cancel my booking because of recent flooding, Tanya booked me into another property. I met several people at Pilansburg who had also had their Madikwe bookings cancelled because of the flooding, and none of them had been able to secure another booking, as I had. BST supplied me with a very comprehensive quote which included a full summary of what was and was not covered. Their quoted prices were very competitive with others I obtained. Payment of deposit and final payment was easy, using Yoco payment system. They answered all questions by email promptly. My driver, Johan, was always on time, and was a careful, skilled driver.
I can highly recommend BST Tours.

A Once-in-a-Lifetime Encounter with Uganda’s Mountain Gorillas
Nothing can quite prepare you for the moment you lock eyes with a mountain gorilla in the wild. Deep in the lush, mist-covered hills of Uganda’s Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, I had the extraordinary privilege of spending one magical hour with a small gorilla family—a deeply moving experience that will stay with me forever.
Only 1,060 mountain gorillas remain on Earth, spread across Uganda, Rwanda, and the Democratic Republic of Congo. In Bwindi, 28 of the 68 gorilla families are habituated, allowing a limited number of visitors each day to observe them in their natural habitat under strict conservation protocols.
During our hour-long visit, we watched the family peacefully feed, play, and rest. In an incredibly rare moment, we even witnessed a mating between the dominant silverback and one of the two females—a sign of a healthy, thriving group.
Our journey was seamlessly organized by Kibuga African Journeys, a trusted local agency that guided us expertly from Kigali to Entebbe—no middlemen, just authentic, responsible travel. A heartfelt thank-you to Amos Travels our Team Leader / Guide whose professionalism, care, and deep knowledge of the region made this dream trip possible.
If you've ever dreamed of coming face-to-face with the great apes of Africa, I cannot recommend this experience—and this team—highly enough. Travel that touches your soul, supports conservation, and empowers local communities: this is the future of tourism.
