An amazing Safari trip
5/5

We had a great safari with Simian Safaris. Though the itinerary changed slightly, everything was well arranged. The hotel exceeded our expectations, and the guide was very active in finding animals. We saw many, including the Big Five. Overall, satisfied!

Unforgettable experience!
5/5

I am not sure where to even start! The process from booking to the real thing was seamless. I travelled with my husband and son and really hoped it would be a once in a lifetime opportunity and it did not disappoint! Communication was so easy and I was kept in the loop the whole time. Safari starts are very early but we didn't mind as we wanted to make the most of the experience. We were collected from our hotel by a private transfer and taken to the aiport where the driver stayed with us until we reached departures. The flight was easy and as soon as we set foot on the ground our guide was there! We were extrememly lucky to have a private jeep with Tiko, who I must say was EXCEPTIONAL! He was so knowledgable and really kind (he was particularly amazing with my 10 year old) From start to finish nothing was too much. We saw so many animals and the views were breathtaking. Tiko made us feel like he was not just a guide but a friend too. We set out early then later on pitched up for breakfast where Tiko set up a table with a table cloth and served us an African breakfast with tea and coffee. In the jeep there was plenty of drinks to keep us hydrated and we were told never to ask just help ourselves. Although I appreciate this is Tiko's job, he really made us feel special and wanted the trip to be memorable for us and my goodness he did just that. After a very long day we stopped at the game reserves toilets before heading to our hotel and I dropped some money out of my pocket. I didn't realise until we reached the hotel. I didn't say anything as it was my silly fault. Tiko noticed I was searching for something and seemed concerned. I explained not to worry. Our hotel was clean very pretty and, although not the standard for our main hotel in Zanzibar, we realised and appreciated that it was perfect for our requirements of the trip. Tiko bidded us farewell and told us to enjoy our day tomorrow. Later on that evening, Tiko returned and said he had driven back to the reserve to check for my money (bless him!) unfortunately it wasn't there. I think the fact that he went out of his way to ensure we were 'safe and happy' (his words) was exceptional. He stayed with us for a while as him and my son really built a bond and they both learned to play chess together. The experience on day 1 alone would be my reason to recommend to everyone to book with Shammah and I actaully feel emotional writing this knowing it is over.
Day 2 - we were collected and taken to a Masai tribe village. To be honest, I didn't know what to expect but WOW! The people of the village were incredibly friendly and told us that they didn't often have children visit mainly adults. What I witnessed there brought tears to my eyes. My son went off and played with the children and even with a huge language barrier and cultural differences they played beautifully. I am a teacher and I even had a chance to teach one of the children how to count to 5 in English it was an unforgettable experience and I was truly humbled. The last part of the day was the River boat cruise and it was lovely and relaxing we saw many animals but, for me, the experiences that truly made it was the safari, Tiko and the Masai Tribe.
Shammah, thank you so much for not only making one of my lifelong dreams come true and making new friends but for creating long lasting memories for my son who experienced so many things he will never forget over those 2 days.

Seperate note for Tiko: Thank you from the bottom of my heart for what you did for us. I am so grateful to you and I wish you so much luck for your future. Continue to work hard and dream big and I hope you achieve everything you want and more!

Private safari for three people 7 days and 6 nights
5/5

The safari organization was perfect: the lodges were excellent (we would have settled for a triple, but instead we always had two rooms, making our stay even more comfortable), the parks we selected were beautiful, we saw so many animals, and our guide, Leonard, made everything even more perfect. He's an intelligent and kind man who knows the animals well and approaches them with respect. When we had a disagreement with my twenty-year-old daughter, he even acted as a family counselor. Thank you!

Absolutely amazing tour of Rwanda with an excellent operator
5/5

We were picked up at our hotel in Kigali by Mansoor and instantly felt welcome and excited for our journey. He did a great job explaining our plans for the day and how long the transfer to our lodge would take. The car was incredibly comfortable and immaculately clean. We learned a lot from him along the way about the culture, the history of the country, and what our upcoming vacation would entail. We were very excited about the gorilla trekking but unsure of the exact process - he spent a lot of time thoughtfully explaining the orientation process, how the trekking works, and some information about various gorilla families. This kind of guiding is something that you don’t get often and we knew we were in great hands - he was very easy to talk with, easy going, open, and just generally an awesome person! Every morning for trekking he picked us up with a big smile and every day after trekking he greeted us with exactly the cold beverages we enjoy. The lodge we chose to stay at has amazing views but a bit further away from volcanoes main entrance - this was totally fine though because it meant we got to have more time hanging out w Mansoor and talking/learning. We chose to do a long transfer by car to Nyungwe and the time flew by as we travelled the country and saw some great sights. I would 100% recommend Pride Adventures and will definitely be booking with them when I return to Rwanda!

Highly recommended for Spaniards, both the safaris and the Kilimanjaro climbs. The guides speak Spanish and are very entertaining. A reliable and safe agency.

Asante Sana!
5/5

We found Splendid Vacation through Safari Booking and got connected with James — he was honestly like my personal Google 🤣. Super helpful, patient, and always ready with answers no matter what I asked.

Pricewise, I had texted many other agencies, but Splendid was the one that matched my expectations best.

Our first safari experience was guided and driven by our favorite driver/tour guide, Steven. He’s firm, professional, and very experienced — we felt safe and well taken care of throughout the trip.

It was an 8-day safari and truly unforgettable. Thank you Splendid Vacation, especially James, Steven, and Simon, for making it so memorable. Can’t wait to be back one day!

An unforgettable journey in Uganda with Nkuringo Safaris
5/5

My husband and I went on a short tour of Southern Uganda, exploring Queen Elizabeth National Park, the Kazinga Channel, Bwindi Impenetrable Forest with the unforgettable mountain gorilla trekking – and Nkuringo Safaris assisted us in the best possible way.
Our trip was simply magnificent and truly unforgettable. Uganda is such a wonderful country, and Nkuringo Safaris really helped us discover it. Our guide, Jack, was amazing from the moment he picked us up late at night in Entebbe until the very end of our journey. He is not only a fantastic guide and an excellent driver, but above all, a truly wonderful human being.
Nkuringo Safaris took excellent care of us in Uganda – we always felt safe and looked after, whether in the lodges, on walks, or during safaris with the rangers. Uganda is an absolutely beautiful country, and Jack made our journey completely unforgettable.
Now we definitely have to come back to visit the northern part of the country – and we will without a doubt book again with Nkuringo Safaris. Highly recommended!

One of the best trip of our life, completely immersed in nature
5/5

Our 8-day journey through Botswana was an extraordinary experience and truly unforgettable, thanks above all to BG and his team. We spent more than a week fully immersed in the wild beauty of different parks, witnessing with our own eyes moments that felt straight out of a nature documentary.

BG, our guide, was an excellent driver—reliable, attentive, and always eager to fulfill our wishes. Thanks to his expertise, we were able to encounter an incredible variety of animals and landscapes, returning home with hearts and minds full of joy.

His team provided outstanding service, ensuring maximum comfort and peace of mind, while delighting us with delicious local dishes and always being attentive to our needs.

An experience we recommend to anyone wishing to spend a wild, authentic week far from the chaos of everyday life, while admiring the breathtaking beauty of nature!

Breathless Experience
5/5

Face to face with lions, elephants and a lot of other animals. This trip was a breathless experience. Organization of the trip was perfect, responses on very short term and our guide Gilibert unbeatable. Always at the right time at the right place, very good position to make photos and a lot of insights about country, people and of course about animals. We had a lot of fun and he was very flexible to meet our expectations. I can fully recommend this experience.
