Extraordinary encounters with animals and nature, thanks to a very dedicated and passionate team!
We thank Christa for recommending the best nature park for our budget during this season. We were lucky to do our 6-day camping safari in the Lower Zambezi with a wonderful Dutch couple who were also nature lovers. In our small group of four, we were guided by Moses who is an incredible expert at spotting even the most inconspicuous animals like panthers. Thanks to him, during our short safari we were able to see the big five: lions, elephants, panthers, buffalos and rhinos (the latter in a private reserve near Mazabuka where we also encountered giraffes and ostriches). Of course, we saw many other species, such as wild dogs, zebras, impalas, baboons, hippos, crocs, and so on. Each time, Moses explained to us the reasons for their behaviour and how they were linked to each other within their ecosystem. It was fascinating! We learnt a lot! Moses is also an incredible cook who, every evening at Mvuu camp, puts all his heart into preparing delicious traditional dishes in huge portions over the campfire. During our stay in Zambia, we couldn't find a restaurant that could match the quality of his cooking. We were also lucky enough to be driven by Joseph around the bumpy tracks of the park in a unique and beautiful modified Land Rover that we loved so much. Joseph is an extremely skilful (and joyful) driver who took us down tracks that no-one else would have dared. No track or path was impossible to follow the animal footprints of the Lower Zambezi NP! Our 12 Days Safari
Our 12 days safari with Banok Safaris through Kenya and Tanzania was truly the trip of a lifetime. From the moment we landed, everything was well organized, and we felt completely taken care of. Benson was friendly, and always made sure we were comfortable. We visited amazing places like Lake Nakuru, Masai Mara, Serengeti, Ngorongoro crater, Tarangire park and Amboseli. Each park was unique and full of wildlife - we saw lions, elephants, giraffes, rhinos, buffaloes, cheetahs and also had a wonderful hot air balloon over Masai Mara.
We had the best guides who were very experienced which made every game drive exciting and informative. The accommodations were beautiful and cozy, with lovely views and great food.
As a couple we enjoyed the romantic sunsets, peaceful campfires, and private moments in nature. Banok Safaris gave us a perfect blend of adventure, relaxation, and unforgettable memories. Highly recommend!

Ozon Light Tours - Tanzania Safari
After careful consideration and multiple email correspondence, we chose Ozon Light Tours for our 5-day Tanzania safari. It turned put to be a great choice and we had an absolutely AMAZING safari. Letson was pur sales rep and he responded to all of our questions and concerns prior and during our trip via email and WhatsApp. We had a flight delay and he was very helpful in organizing a car transport from Nairobi for us so we could catch up with our driver and get back on schedule.
Albert was our driver and guide and we can give him our highest compliments and recommendation. He was friendly, safe and extremely competent. His knowledge of the parks, the animals, the geography and geology were simply outstanding. We were able to visit the central Serengeti and the Ngorongoro Crater where we saw leopards, cheetahs, lions with 6 cubs, black rhinos, elephants, hyenas, giraffes, and even 2 serval cats. Albert communicated with the rangers and other guides to ensure we were able to see animals which were otherwise impossible to find. He also has the experience to know where to go at the right times such as when the rhinos awake in the crater, as well as, knowing roads/areas less experienced guides may miss.
We stayed at Maasai Eco Boma lodge the first night which was an amazing experience getting to actually know the Maasai people and their culture. Next, we stayed at the Tukaone Weaver Tented Camp in the Serengeti. A wonderful accommodation where we fell asleep listening to the Wildebeest and other animals. Excellent service. Finally, we stayed at the Ngorongoro Wild Camp. Located in the forest we had zebra enter the camp as we enjoyed our dinner.
As a couple, we chose a private driver/guide and mid-range accommodations with private bathroom. The quality for price was excellent. Going the end of April-beginning of May was a perfect choice. Fewer tourists/vehicles and a view of the Great Migration will be something we will always cherish.
We can easily give Ozon Light Tours our highest recommendation.

Fabulous Safari!
Crater safaris was awesome!! It was very easy to book and they were consistent in making sure everything went smoothly and I had a good time. The guide was amazing and I would absolutely have him again. You definitely get what you pay for on this Safari and with this company. It is super reliable and they are so well connected with the guides and the hotels that you truly do not need to worry about anything. We saw elephants, lions, giraffes, rhinos, and everything in between. I would absolutely book through Crater again!!!!

Communicative and flexible.
I got into contact with Tilman Safaris through a website . I had a possibilty to utilize a few days in connection with a workshop I led in Embu, Kenya and I wanted to get up on Mt Kenya. Charles proved to be flexible and arranged a tour for me with short notice.
I proved to be the only paying participant but there were three staff - a guide, one cook and one porter.
The hiking was good but physically challenging for me. The guide was excellent and adapted the tempo to my ability. He gave interesting information about flora and fauna in the different elevations when we passed. The whole team gave excellent and friendly support during the whole hike.
One thing I found a bit awkward was that we did not eat the meals together - the staff set a table with table cloth and all, served me and left. That meant I ate most of the meals on my own. Not used to that.
In summary it was an excellent trip that despite bad weather resulted in a fantastic experience and many good memories thanks to the staff at Tillman Safaris.

Fantastic reliable, professional and knowledgeable tour company.
Absolute perfection from start to finish. I can’t recommend this tour and this company highly enough. I had just a few days added to a business trip and Regina at Pamoja helped me plan a fantastic solo itinerary to Murchison. As a solo female traveller I always felt safe and respected throughout my trip. The tour was brilliantly organised and my guide, David, was so knowledgeable. With his help I was able to see an incredible amount of wildlife despite my short stay - animals I would never have spotted otherwise! He had fantastic knowledge of wildlife and never tired of my endless questions - thanks David! Highly recommended - and don’t be put off by low season/rainy season - with a knowledgeable guide and some good fortune you can still see plenty of wildlife.
I found it really hard to choose a safari tour company without any personal recommendations so hopefully this review will help you choose - I’m 100% certain that if you choose Pamoja for your safari and you will have a wonderful experience!

This might sum up my experience…I started planning my next trip with Sun Safari the day I returned home from my first trip with them in April, 2025! My trip far exceeded my expectations. The Machaba Camps we visited were the perfect fit for our group. Beautiful camps and facilities, wonderful people, great food and outstanding game viewing. I’m still dreaming of Botswana.
