Exceptional planning and life-changing experience
Emmy and the team are very professional and I was so impressed by their expertise. They aim to give you the best experience and best value. They truly have your interest at heart and don’t try to oversell you. They take care of all the details. I also appreciated the quick responses.
During the gorilla trek, we did a “medium” level hike and saw the Susa family. It was amazing to be near them in their natural habitat. It was cold and wet but hot towels were waiting for us back in the jeep. We did the Golden Monkeys trek the following day and had an equally amazing experience. I can’t wait to book another trip with them!

Amazing Zimbabwe and Botswana camping experience, fantastic value!!
My partner and I did the 9 day budget camping tour from Victoria Falls to the Okavango Delta. Such an unreal experience, would absolutely recommend. There is a fantastic balance of activities and time to relax, in our opinion.
Our primary guide Francis was super welcoming, he had so much knowledge that he was happy to share with us. He really made the experience more fun and engaging. We learnt so much about all the animals and environment along with the culture of Zimbabwe and Botswana. Really can't thank Francis enough for his guidance.
The activities were exactly as outlined, plenty of safaris in which we saw all the animals we were hoping to see! Even though we didn't make any changes to the itinerary, we felt like there was plenty of flexibility if we wanted to adjust anything. Biggest highlight of this tour was definitely camping in the Delta, it's something everyone has got to try.
A few of the activities are booked with the local tour operators at each specific location, and we found the handover/communication with some of them to be a bit lacking, (i.e. pickup times not being provided to us until a few hours before), however, everything went according to plan, so it's really just about trusting the process. The team at Zambezi were welcoming and very responsive prior and during our tour.
We highly recommend this experience, especially if you are looking for a budget option. The team at Zambezi are awesome and will provide you with such an awesome tour!

Our guide Denis was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and made sure we saw the Big Five and more. The vehicle was clean and comfortable, and every part of the trip felt safe and exciting. Amazing Kenyan Safari
We completed a 6 day budget tour of Kenya and loved it. The booking process was easy with good communication.
Our guide Rodger was so friendly, knowledgeable and always made sure we had the best views of all the animals.
We did the budget accomodation option and had everything we needed, every accomodation was great with good food.
Highlights were seeing cheetahs, lions and so many elephants!
Would recommend axis to anyone considering booking and hopefully you are lucky enough to also get Rodger as a guide :)

Roger is the best guide in all of Africa
We did the 6 day Kenya safari with axis and cannot recommend it highly enough. All the accommodation, food and communication was great. The jeep was always so clean and had charging ports . The best part was our guide Roger, he went above and beyond to get us the best wildlife viewings, we saw lions, cheetah, rhinos and so much more.

I planned a trip alone, and you were the fastest and most courteous among the many travel agencies. The price was also very reasonable. The people I was supposed to go with canceled, so my schedule changed, but you communicated with me in a very trustworthy way throughout the process. It was a really enjoyable trip thanks to the two women I went with, and Benjamin and Alex, who kept smiling and took care of everything throughout the trip, were really professional. Is there a 10 out of 5 score? Lucas has knowledge, skills, personality & an eye for detail that exceeded any previous safari experience. Glamping at its best: warm, clean bedding & soft towels, hot water bottles for chilly nights & showers & toilets attached to the tent. All food likes/allergies attended to; meals were fabulous & creative. Staff was hand picked for attention to detail, any request. Just open your piggy bank & book.
