If you're thinking of traveling to see the mountain gorillas in Bwindi then I would highly recommend booking through Kisoro Tours Uganda. Dan, the main guide, was incredibly kind and helpful. I was a bit apprehensive sending money online at first, but he acquired the permits himself and we simply paid upon arrival. He met us at the Entebbe airport and from there it was a really incredible trip around Uganda. We ended up staying at the Bakiga Lodge, which I would also highly encourage as they are beautiful lodges that over look the forest with a fireplace and bar (beats a rainy tent!). The lodge also uses the money to help get clean water to the surrounding villages. I'm trying to think of any drawbacks that we had, but we were just really happy with how it all worked out. An Amazing Experience All Around
Can say nothing bad about this Safari. Was picked up by Isaac who was in charge of our group he was great. It was 7 of us in total from all around the world, definitely made some lifelong friends from it. I was a Solo traveler so just made it that much more special. I was surprised on how many Solo travelers there were in my group, I was one of three people on their own. The actual Safari was breathtaking and that's really all there is to say you will have to go to see what I mean. The people at the campsite were great, learn a lot about the Masai Culture which was so interesting! Was sad to leave, but will def be back to Kenya!

Kerry helped me in planning a trip to Victoria Falls and South Africa, responding very promptly to all my questions. Wonderful once in a lifetime trip. Silverback gorillas and Golden Monkeys amazing. All great!
Carol was wonderful to work with. She was very patient with all of our questions and requests. She was able to accommodate special requests and made our tour very special. Our driver William was wonderful. The hotels were all nice, but our favorite was Five Volcanoes Lodge. The staff was the friendliest and best we have ever come across. They truly made us feel like special guests. The Gorilla Trekking was amazing. Not difficult at all and we saw the most beautiful Silverback family up close. One young gorilla fell out of a tree and landed at my feet which made for some excellent video. Carol also arranged for us to go to the Democratic Republic of the Congo to hike to the top of a volcano (Nyiragongo). That was unbelievable. Overall this was a perfect trip.
