Amazing Kenya Safari with Meektrails and our wonderful guide, Onesmas
In August 2025, we traveled from California to Nairobi for our long-awaited first African safari—and it was everything we dreamed of and more. After thorough research, we chose Meektrails, and they exceeded our expectations in every way.
Over 8 days, we explored Amboseli National Park, Lake Naivasha, Lake Nakuru, and the Masai Mara in a super-comfortable 4x4 jeep. Our guide, Onesmas, was incredibly knowledgeable about the parks, wildlife, and trails. He made the journey feel so personal and special that I found myself in tears when saying goodbye to him at the Masai Mara airport.
Witnessing the animals in their natural habitat was a life-changing experience, and the memories will stay with us forever. I wholeheartedly recommend Meektrails to anyone considering an African safari and searching for a truly outstanding tour company.

Safari and Beach Honeymoon Success
We did a 12 night safari and Zanzibar trip to celebrate our honeymoon. Jonyo at Serengeti Smile arranged exactly what was requested and added excursions and corrections prior to confirming the trip to ensure we had the itinerary we wanted. On safari, our guide Dale, was knowledgable, attentive, and kept us safe. He was the best guide and ensured we saw many animals and had close encounters with them as well. In Zanzibar, we added a few excursions including snorkeling, dolphin sightings, spice tour, and a trip to prison island. Our resort in Zanzibar was great for relaxing after the long days at safari. We loved our trip and felt the service of all Serengeti Smile guides and employees was exceptional. If we do return for another safari, I would be confident in using Serengeti Smile again!

Professional and luxurious way to get to the top — and reasonable too
We climbed Kili with Nafika as a family of five (our 'kids' are 17, 21 and 22) and had a superb experience all the way (even with very cold and cloudy summit). Nafika are highly professional and it was a luxurious experience. Camps were always set up in the best spots, the food was amazing and plentiful and the guides were encouraging, fun and knowledgeable -- and caring/super safe with daily health checks for everyone (oxygen levels, blood pressure etc). I could not recommend them more highly. And they were great value for money.

You should definitely book a tour with Termite Tour Travel. Our tour guide, Benjamin, was incredibly knowledgeable about the wildlife and he made us feel so comfortable throughout the journey. It all felt very safe, clean, and exciting. There wasn’t a single day when the enthusiasm about our trip died down.

Best safari ever
I recently went on a safari trip to Masai Mara with Hyrax Safaris, and it was absolutely unforgettable! From the moment we arrived, the team made everything seamless — from transfers to accommodations, they took care of every detail.
Our guides were incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about the wildlife, making the experience both educational and thrilling. We saw an incredible variety of animals up close — lions lounging in the sun, herds of elephants, giraffes, and even the elusive cheetah. The highlight for me was spotting hyraxes in their natural habitat, something I never expected to see!
The accommodations provided by Hyrax Safaris were comfortable, clean, and beautifully set in the heart of nature, offering breathtaking views of the savannah. Meals were delicious and perfectly timed between game drives.
Overall, I can’t recommend Hyrax Safaris enough. If you’re looking for an authentic, well-organized, and awe-inspiring safari experience in Masai Mara, this is the team to go with!
