Brilliantly managed and great team members!
Our Masai Mara safari was truly unforgettable, and the biggest reason was our incredible driver and guide, Peter Kapino.
From the very beginning, his warm personality and professionalism stood out, making us feel comfortable and excited for the adventure ahead. His knowledge of the park, wildlife, and local culture was outstanding, and he always had fascinating insights to share.
He had an extraordinary ability to spot animals from great distances and ensured we didn’t miss any highlights — from lions and cheetahs to rare birds and the breathtaking landscapes. What impressed us most was his patience; he never rushed us and always positioned the vehicle perfectly for the best views and photos. His driving skills were exceptional, navigating the rough Mara terrain with ease and keeping us safe and comfortable throughout.
Beyond his skills, it was his kindness, humor, and genuine passion that made the experience feel so special. By the end of the trip, it felt less like we were with a guide and more like we were traveling with a friend who wanted us to see the very best of the Mara. Thanks to him, we returned with memories and stories we will cherish for a lifetime, and we can’t recommend him highly enough to anyone planning a safari.

Flawlessly organized with warm hospitality—an unforgettable experience every step.
My experience with Axis Africa Expedition & Safaris was absolutely incredible from start to finish. From the very first inquiry, their communication was prompt, clear, and professional—they answered all my questions, explained the itinerary in detail, and made me feel confident about booking. Leading up to the safari, the team stayed in touch and made sure every detail was confirmed, which gave me peace of mind that I was in good hands.
When the safari began, I was immediately impressed by how seamless everything was. The pickup was on time, the vehicle was clean and comfortable, and our driver and guide, Peter, was exceptional. He was not only reliable and knowledgeable about the wildlife but also genuinely dedicated to making sure we were satisfied every step of the way. Thanks to his expertise and determination, we were able to witness unforgettable moments in the wild—including seeing all of the Big Five, which was truly a dream come true.
The service throughout the trip was warm, genuine, and professional. I always felt cared for and safe, which made the whole experience stress-free and enjoyable. The accommodations arranged by Axis Africa were comfortable and exceeded expectations, offering the perfect balance of value for money and authentic safari experience.
What really stood out to me was how well-organized everything was—every transfer, activity, and meal flowed seamlessly without me ever having to worry about logistics. I could just relax and enjoy the adventure. For the quality of service, attention to detail, and the unforgettable safari itself, I truly believe Axis Africa offers some of the best value in Kenya.
This was a once-in-a-lifetime trip, and thanks to Axis Africa Expedition & Safaris—and especially Peter—it turned out even better than I could have imagined. I would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone looking for a trustworthy, professional, and exceptional safari operator. They made my dream trip come true, and I’ll definitely book with them again in the future.

Tafara was the best guide ever! He is knowledgeable, kind and attentive.
This was my first time visiting Africa. To be honest I was quite nervous. However from start to finish I felt cared for. Before the trip, Archie was available to answer every questions and put me at ease. He promised we would be welcomed with open arms. When we met our guide Tafara in Victoria Falls, I was instantly relieved to be greeted with his warm smile. He made sure everything went smoothly and adjusted to any request we made. He went out of his was to make arrangements outside of our itinerary. After the first day, I felt I had gotten my money's worth. In fact after that day in Hwange, I said "if I go home now I would be satisfied". And it only got better and better. I think something that made the trip so special was that Tafara shared that joy with us. He genuinely wanted us to have the best experience possible. And we did! I highly recommend Africa Uncovered and if you are lucky enough to have Tafara as your guide, it will be a trip of a lifetime. Thank you so much!

Superb and blind trust!
This is my third trip with Rose and the Luxury Safari Co. From day one she has known exactly what to recommend, fully meeting my budget and expectations. On all the trips everything was carefully planned, with great operators on the ground and amazing camps full of passionate people and great service. I’ve also learned what a great relationship she’s built with the various camps I’ve been to. I trust Rose so much that I just ask her, “where should I go next?” and blindly trust her recommendations, which have not failed me so far. Every time I’m asked about safaris, I confidently recommend The Luxury Safari Co to friends and colleagues. You won’t regret it! Every time I’ve seen amazing wildlife, stunning landscapes and experienced the beauty of Africa, having the trip of my dreams!

Efficient, Friendly, customer Focus and value for money
I decided to travel with this company in September 2025, after having contacted a few and this one impressed me from the onset in their promptness and quality of information provided. I consider that I was very fortunate that my contact was Michuki, because, there was no query or concern raised that he was not able to either answer or point me in the right direction to have the matter resolved, for example, when I was unsure whether I needed a Visa for my visit.
From the beginning, he provided an itinerary that fitted my specific needs and was always ready, even outside of office hours to respond to any question(s) that I had.
I had planned a budget tour, and I must say that the first tented camp that I stayed at in the Maasai Mara (Miti Mingi eco camp) was a little disappointing. The tent was ok but the bathroom facilities were beyond basic...the toilet and shower was basically outside although attached to the tent, and as the Maasai Mara area was cold - taking showers early in the morning or late at night was not pleasant. However the upside is that the staff there were lovely, especially a young Maasai lad by the name of Moses. He was absolutely wonderful and although all the staff were nice, he stood out for me, he was attentive, informative, friendly and always had such a wonderful smile on his face...Lovely young man.
I stayed in the Maasai Mara area for two nights and then went on to other locations to include Nakuru and Navisha and Amboseli. The accommodation at these sites were significantly better, especially Amboseli, where I had the opportunity to stay at Rafiki Tent site. This is still in the process of being built, and it was a joy to see and experience the difference between this site and Miti Mingi eco camp. Rafiki is still a work in progress, but it is going to be lovely when it is completed and established. I also got the experience of waking up and seeing Mount Kilimanjaro with its snow cap top in the morning. Here Elizabeth is the person that stood out for me, again, excellent customer service skills, and couldn't do enough to please.
My trip was solo and only for 8 days - but I saw so much and met such wonderful like minded travellers (many of whom, I will connect with in the future) that I would recommend this Company to anyone. I even managed to put my foot on the soil of Tanzania as we had a couple of people who were crossing the border from Kenya to Tanzania to continue their travels. The Drivers/Tour Guide were friendly, John and Gordano would be the two that I would especially mention, because they worked hard and had to engaged positively with so many different personalities and nationalities.
And to add icing on the cake, Michuki kindly organised for myself and a couple of other travellers (who had booked with other companies) to be taken to either the next place that they were staying before their onward journey home or directly to the airport if they were flying out that night free of any additional cost. Super Eagles, you should feel honoured to have him as part of your team.

Outstanding; much above and beyond expectations
We traveled with George Matias. For 9 days we were privileged enjoy his knowledge, courtesious interaction with us. We are from Boston, USA. I am a Physician interested in photography, I wrote the following to Omer, our agent in Israel from another World Travel, who connected with you to arrange all the logistic of our Safari in Tanzania:b
In English
George truly deserves the highest praise. He is absolutely exceptional — not only with his deep knowledge and guiding skills, but also with his kindness, patience, and tireless support. He went far beyond his duty in every possible way: helping us, caring for us, and even assisting with photography. He gave us an unforgettable experience and did things for us that no one else would have done. We feel incredibly lucky to have had him as our guide.
in sweHilli:
