Papa was a fantastic guide and did everything in his power to ensure that we had an incredible experience. He went above and beyond to deliver as full of an experience as we could ever imagine. Amazing!
We recently completed a 4 day safari, and had an amazing experience! Everything was so well planned for us making it easy to enjoy every sight, sound, and moment of our trip. We’re were a group of 11, including children, and our guides were excellent- answering our questions, providing details of animals, vegetation, and more, and worked hard to get us to locations they knew were good for spotting the big 5! They set up our campsites each night and prepared all of our meals. Camp was rustic but comfortable, and the meals were delicious! Thank you Karibu Tena!

Amazing first safari with Gosheni Safaris!
My husband and I went on our first safari with Gosheni in June 2025. After deliberating for so long whether to go through with it, we are both so glad we did! It's pretty overwhelming planning your first safari and I ultimately chose Gosheni because of their transparency and patience with my many, many questions! Shout out to William from the sales office! Gosheni has a great well maintained land cruiser as the safari vehicle, and we so appreciate the hamper picnic! Great touch.
Our driver and guide is the wonderful Hassani. I still don't understand how, but he knows the serengeti roads like the back of his hand, day or night! He took great care of us and was open to all our requests. We saw 3 leopards in 3 days, and on our last day of safari even saw 4 different groups of lions!

Amazing experience!!
We booked Gosheni for a custom tour of Ngorongoro and Serengeti. Hassani, our guide, was amazing! He made sure that we're comfortable and safe throughout the trip. He was super knowledgeable about Tanzania and was an expert in finding the animals during our game drive. I totally recommend them!

Amazing from start to finish!
Innocent was amazing - he organised everything from start to finish. We were staying in Zanzibar and he arranged pick-up from our hotel, transfer to the airport, domestic flights to and from Tanzania, all of our pick-ups, transfers, safari tours, food and accommodation while in Tanzania. It was seamless! Whenever we had questions he answered immediately and was always available to help.
We visited Tarangire national park and our driver was amazing. He knew exactly where to go and we spotted some amazing animals, and so close!
Our accomodation was in a local lodge, where they cooked us a meal and performed traditional dance and gymnastics.
The next morning we were collected and brought for breakfast before driving to Ngorongoro Crater - this was amazing!! Highly recommend. We saw so many animals. We were also lucky enough to see a leopard and a black Rhino, which our guide told us are usually difficult to spot.
All in all the experience was amazing. I would highly recommend!

Our Fabulous Safari Adventure with Gilmag
I highly recommend Gilmag if your planning a safari. When I agreed to take my Auntie (80) and her friend (75) on safari I knew that we needed a company that paid attention to details and allowed my older travel companions to set the pace and activities. When I found Gilmag and spoke with Mary, I know this was the right company for our safari. She took the time to explain the details of our trip and was very specific when answering questions. Mary was very easy to work with when making changes to our itinerary and worked to give us the best value in lodging and camps. She stayed within our budget.
Our guide Nickson was an absolute treasure and was very knowledgeable of the national parks we visited (4 in total). He was kind, patient, and knew where to find the Big Five... even the rhinos we saw in Ngorongoro NP. Nickson even went out of his way to find a step when he saw auntie was having difficulty getting out of the safari vehicle. This is the kind of detail that made traveling on safari a little easier and more enjoyable.
We saw a lot of wildlife up close and personal. My favorite was the elephants and I could watch them all day long. There were lions walking alongside our safari vehicle... so close you could reach out and touch them. We saw a pride with 12 cubs and 6 adult females. There were leopards up a tree and cheetahs under a tree. Hippos sunbathing!!! The list goes on and on.....
This was, by far, the best holiday I've had in my life!!! Thank you Mary, Gilbert, and Nickson for making it happen.
