A unforgettable experience to the roof of Africa, made by the people at Almighty Kilimanjaro!
Where do I start, this was one of the best experiences I have ever had and a mental challenge that I will never forget especially summit night!!
The communication from Almighty Kilimanjaro from start to finish was excellent!!
The trip was exactly as described in terms of the route, however we decided to change it to 7 days on the Lemosho route, this was out of my choice and there was no pressure by anyone to make this change on the mountain!
Muntari you are a gem and I truly thank you for taking me up the mountain with you and your team and giving me your knowledge of the mountain and sharing stories with me, a little Eminem also helped!!
You made me laugh so much on this trip and the memories shared with you will always be with me. Your daughter is so lucky to have a father like you!!
Chef Shabani, you kept me energised throughout the trip and made me look forward to each and every meal time, especially with those pancakes and if I could take you home to be my private chef then I would, but I don’t want to take you away from Muntari as I think he might miss you!! Thank you for everything and helping guide me down on the descent.
Amani, thank you for the hot tea every morning and the washie washie water every day. Your smile each morning made me motivated from the first point every morning, you are a real treasure!!
Also thank you to the rest of of the other porters, you work so hard each day to ensure camp is set up before I arrive and without you guys, I would have never made it down from the summit!
Thank you to you all and for welcoming me to your beautiful country, I will never forget this experience or any of you and you will forever have a place in my heart!!
I wish all good health to you and your families and future safety on every future climb up the mountain!
Nawapende Sana, Asanteni Sana, Rafiki Sana!!!

Perfect customer service and organization
Since the very beginning of the organization, this agency was the best one: very quick responses, they adapted the organized tour of 16 days to our needs because we had "only" 14 days. Leilani and Philip made a great job booking all the accommodation and organising the trip. They answered very quickly about all our doubts about the organisation. We chose the mid range lodges with food included. We were expecting the typical sandwich ham and cheese but it was an amazing surprise to know that everyday the meals were in a restaurant, and you could choose whatever you wanted. The lodges were also above our expectations, almost all of them with a swimming pool and comfortable beds. A special mention to our guide, Akser, that made a big effort to make us satisfied and happy. He's a very good driver, and in etosha was capable of seeing animals from very far away. He was also available to stop whenever we needed it.
Recommended 100%. The price worth it.
If i can give just a suggestion, in etosha, due to the distances, would be better the namotoni lodge instead of halali.
Anyway thanks to Akser we saw Lions, Elephants, cheetah and Ryno!
Amazing experience!!

A perfect trip for sure.
This was our first trip to Tanzania, and Bencia Africa Adventure & Safaris made our experience memorable. Our guide Raymond was very knowledgeable and friendly and always tried to keep us comfortable. We saw elephants and flamingos at Lake Manyara, and the landscape inside Ngorongoro Crater was like a dream - lions, zebras, and a group of hyenas! The car was perfect; everything was on time. A perfect trip for sure.

Excellent
Our family had been dreaming of going on a safari in Tanzania this June, and once we decided to make it happen, the next big question was: which tour company do we choose? With no clear starting point, I reached out to five different companies for quotes. Right from the beginning, Lion King Adventures stood out. Their itinerary was detailed, they offered a great selection of accommodations—especially Nyota Luxury Camp, which was a real highlight—and they were able to provide two private, air-conditioned jeeps for our group of seven. They also made sure our dietary needs were fully met, which was a huge relief.
I worked closely with Caroline and Rose on all the planning and booking, and honestly, the entire process was incredibly smooth. Most of our communication happened through WhatsApp and a few phone calls, and they were always warm, responsive, and flexible with our schedule.
Once on the ground, our guides Freddie and Joseph made the experience truly unforgettable. Their knowledge of the parks, wildlife, and even the history of the areas we visited was amazing. They drove with such care and patience, which made a big difference given how bumpy the safari roads can be (we jokingly called it our daily "African massage"). What made the trip even more special were the personal stories they shared—about their lives, their families, and the passion they have for what they do. We even taught each other a few words in our respective languages, which was a fun bonus.
Every hotel we stayed at was wonderful, with friendly staff and great vegetarian options—something we really appreciated. From the concierge to the housekeeping teams, everyone made us feel welcome and well taken care of.
A special thanks to Tuma, who greeted us at the Kilimanjaro airport with a smile after a long journey, and to Jafery, who drove us safely to Moshi at the beginning of our trip.
This was an unforgettable adventure, and our experience with Lion King Adventures was nothing short of fantastic. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking to explore Tanzania. They helped turn a long-held dream into a beautiful reality.

Super responsive and personalized service
This was our first time booking an experience like this so I tried to research the companies thoroughly before choosing and I’m so glad we went with Easy Travel. Zainab and Marziya were attentive and responsive to all my questions and worries during the planning phases, easily accommodating the addition of two more people to our party. They also made sure we had all our paperwork done ahead of time so that our arrival in Tanzania was smooth.
On the actual safari, our driver guide Denis was the absolute highlight. His expert driving and navigation had us feeling safe. With his knowledge and experience we were able to see a wide variety of animals including the "big five" and his sense of humour kept us laughing the entire time. We will absolutely be back!

Very helpful trip planners - knowledgeable guides and flawless details for planning
Nsavi was the perfect tour operator. Using a local company meant a lot to us and Sara had every detail planned perfectly even though our itinerary changed several times. Our guide Jacob was also incredibly helpful and knowledgeable.

7 Day Viva Safari - June 2025
I do not normally provide reviews but on this occasion decided to provide potential Viva Safari visitors with an insight as to our experiences.
I booked the safari directly with Viva Safaris rather than going through a tour operator. From my first emails, Patricia Landau was exceptionally prompt and helpful in her responses. I asked many questions and was provided with all the information I needed. We selected the 7 day safari based at the Tremisana Lodge. We were picked up promptly at our Johannesburg airport hotel and driven to Kruger in time for our first sunset drive. Amazingly we saw 3 of the big 5 on that first drive. Once back at the lodge we checked into our accommodation which is rustic and comfortable. During our week we were driven by numerous of the Viva team. All were very informative about the animals and were keen to enable us to see as many different species as possible. We found Andy and Marc to be extremely enthusiastic, every day seemed an adventure for them too. The schedules are packed each day. Having been on a safari previously we were delighted with the amount of time out in jeeps on this Viva safari. We must have averaged over 7 hours per day actually tracking animals. We managed to see all the big 5, with the highlights being 8 lions walking beside the jeep literally 5 minutes from the lodge, a cheetah walking beside the jeep in Kruger, 3 hyena cubs lazing by the road in Kruger and 14 giraffes walking beside the road totally ignoring us, a boa constrictor sunbathing in a tree and 2 male wildebeest fighting for territory and breeding rights. With regard to the lodge itself, the team worked hard to ensure we were well fed, the food was good, plentiful and filling and the chefs added their own cakes, cookies and desserts. Each mealtime the visitors met at the Lapa restaurant to discuss their sightings, share experiences and add to the enjoyment. Just outside the perimeter of the Lapa (literally 20 metres from our seats) we had daily visits from hyenas, a family of 5 warthogs, honey badgers, elephants, guinea fowl and numerous other birds. At Tremisana we met many fun loving people from all over Europe, Asia and America which all added to the experience. What a fantastic holiday. It was definitely a 5 out of 5 experience. I would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to spend their safari holiday actually viewing animals rather than sitting beside a pool.
