Nothing was a problem with Kilimanjaro Unforgettable
We have just returned from an incredible family holiday in Tanzania & Zanzibar. After contacting several agencies , I decided to go with Kilimanjaro Unforgettable and kept in touch with Frank. Step by step Frank tailored our holiday to our needs ensuring we would make the most of it and have the best itinerary. We travelled as a family with three teenagers. He was always available and replied very promptly and politely. I changed lodges/hotels a number of times till I was satisfied and convinced I was choosing the right place for my family. Frank was very patient throughout and always accommodated! We didn’t have to think of anything once we were there as everything was taken care of and we had a fantastic holiday. We told Frank we would like to visit a couple of child centers/orphanages and this was also organised en route to our game drives. On a couple of occasions we accidentally left things behind and Frank very kindly organised to have them delivered to us! Our 8 day Northern Botswana Safari was the trip of a lifetime. Our first Safari we were a little apprehensive but we needn't have worried Anna at Sekanka answered all our questions and offered valuable advice. We chose to do four days camping in the Okavango delta to start, our pick ups were always on time.
I would certainly recommend 'roughing' it a little if you are able, the lack of plumbing is more than made up for by the experience of living amongst the wildlife.
The game drives were phenomenal, Ben, our guide, was so knowledgeable and with more than 20 years experience he could read the tracks and had an uncanny ability to seek out all the best sightings. We couldn't have asked for better with Kathy the cook and the camp staff all doing fine work in the 'bush'. We saw 4 Leopards, a pride of lions stalking a buffalo herd, elephants, giraffes, hippos and countless other birds and animals.
After we left Ben in the Delta a short flight took us to the Chobe River, from here on we stayed in guest houses and hotels, all were clean and comfortable. A boat safari on the Chobe river was a highlight seeing hundreds of elephants, hippos in and out of the water, crockodiles and a lot more.
From there it was on to two nights in Victoria falls to see a natural wonder of the world, and a Zambezi boat cruise all perfectly organised by Sekanka. Give them a call , you won't regret it.

Amazing
I had a great experience with Somewhere in Africa. We went with 5 volunteers together and had the best 4 days! Charles was our guide and he did really his best to find the big five for us and explained a lot about the animals. Also the cook Nico was amazing, we had delicious food every day and three times a day. Everything was well arranged and I had a very good time on the safari :)

Unforgettable Safari with Safari by Z – A Truly Once-in-a-Lifetime Experience
After looking into quite a few tour operators, we ended up choosing Safari by Z because their itinerary really stood out and because of the excellent service we received from their sales team — and honestly, we couldn’t have made a better choice. Right from the beginning, the booking process was smooth and stress-free. The team was incredibly helpful and responsive, always quick to answer questions and genuinely keen to make sure everything was just right. Mwanaidi kept in touch with regular updates and info, which made the whole planning process feel easy and organized.
When we arrived in Arusha, we were greeted at our hotel by Mwanaidi, which was such a thoughtful and welcoming touch — it really set the tone for what turned out to be an amazing trip.
Our guide, Fadhili, was absolutely fantastic. He made it his mission to ensure we had the best wildlife experiences possible — and he delivered. From a pride of lions napping under twin acacia trees, to the raw power of three male lions devouring a fresh kill, to the quiet intimacy of three cheetahs grooming each other — we witnessed scenes we’ll never forget. And on our very first day in the northern Serengeti, we were incredibly lucky to see the famous wildebeest crossing. It was absolutely breathtaking and something we’ll never forget.
The custom-fitted Land Rovers from Safari by Z were another big highlight. They were super comfortable and clearly designed with safari days in mind — it made all the difference on those long drives. Plus, Fadhili kept the vehicle spotless the entire time, which really showed how much pride he takes in his work.
Fadhili’s deep knowledge of both wildlife and Tanzanian culture enriched every moment. He shared so much insight throughout the journey and was always checking in to make sure we were comfortable, informed, and having a great time.
This really was a once-in-a-lifetime adventure, made unforgettable by the incredible team at Safari by Z. Huge thanks to Fadhili and Mwanaidi for making it so special — we honestly can’t recommend them highly enough.

An Amazing Experience with African Big Cats!
Wow! What an amazing trip! African Big Cats arranged an amazing 10 day safari for us!
Our guide, Obedi, became one of the family (Kaka). He knew exactly where to take us to find the elusive rhino, leopard, cheetahs, hyenas, lions, and MUCH more. And he did an excellent job of avoiding the crowds so we often felt like we were the only ones in the vast wilderness.
The vehicle was large and comfortable. The extra padding on the seats was much appreciated during the many bumpy roads, aka "african massages". The pop top made it easy to view and photograph the majestic wildlife.
Each lodge they selected was top notch. The staff was very welcoming and attentive. The facliities were clean, large, and very comfortable. The en suite bathrooms were large, the showers had wonderful hot water, and several had amazing outdoor showers. The food was great! And picnic lunches in the bush were a fun experience.
Going with African Big Cats made this incredible journey something that we will remember forever.

Martin is incredibly knowledgable about birds and the bush, a great communicator, makes it fun!
Great morning drive with Martin who tailored the trip to our interests a little bit realising our love for birds.
He is very knowledgable. We saw brown hyenas, lions with cubs, jackals, some amazing birds, wildebeest, zebras and some of the parks most gorgeous bird life.
