An Incredible Safari Experience in Kenya’s Most Famous Reserves
5/5

Our safari through Masai Mara, Lake Naivasha, Lake Nakuru, and Amboseli was truly unforgettable. Every destination offered something unique — dramatic savannahs full of lions and cheetahs in the Mara, serene boat rides with hippos and birds on Naivasha, flamingos and rhinos at Nakuru, and the iconic sight of elephants beneath Mount Kilimanjaro in Amboseli.
Our guide John Walter made the trip exceptional. His patience, professionalism, and warm personality made us feel safe and well cared for every day.
It’s an experience we’ll remember for a lifetime.

Very accommodating and attentive, eager to give the best experience
5/5

I completed a 4 day budget safari and materuni waterfall in with coffee day. Safari was really enjoyable. The guide was great. The Serengeti campsite is unpleasant but I can’t blame the tour operator for that. The materuni day was unexpected highlight - spending time with locals and again an accommodating and knowledgable guide.
They helped with transfers which helped a lot also.

Efficient, friendly and courteous
5/5

The tour was well organised. Accommodation was good and comfortable. Included food was tasty and ample. In Gweta the accomodation was hot overnight. However it is was luckily one night. The roads, no reflection on tour operatoe can be a bit tiring due to lack of maintenance on the long haul distances. The African massage as they coined it, was very bumpy on dirt roads and dusty . Judith our host guide and driver was excellent and knowledgeable.

Excellent Service and great women to meet and be around
5/5

The service by far exceeded our expectations. When one member of our group had broken shoes they even would go out of their way in order to find a solution for that problem.
We had a great time and enjoyed these young women ' s company.

well organised operator and amazing guide leroy excellent service at great value
5/5

We communicated with moses during the quote and derick super eagles handled all the organization from start to finish everything was seamless and easy. Our guide, leroy was fantastic—knowledgeable, fun, and full of stories that went beyond the usual animal facts. His knowledge of all the locations is so immense that he drove in difficult terrain to show us a Lion Pride containing 14 lions which were so hard to spot in the vast mara plains, although on the 4th day we had a some small issue and a couple in our car could not proceed with him which we disagreed with decision on our end we felt so bad and we could not give him a proper good bye .
The vehicle was clean and very comfortable, carrying 8 people . The accommodations were top notch camps were clean and served great food apart from rafiki which a good accommodation ut offered basic food They were very entertaining in the evenings with special maasai culture dance,in summary we couldn't ask for a better tour operator and guide for our safari in Kenya

Great Fly in Safari company from Bush to Beach
5/5

The safari was just great. A special highlight were our two companions: Joel, our German-speaking guide, who explained everything with a lot of knowledge, humor and passion, and Kevin, our driver, who steered us confidently and safely through sometimes challenging routes. Together they were a well-rehearsed team that made the safari very special for us.
We were able to experience the “Big Five” up close as well as many other animals – lions, elephants, rhinos, giraffes, zebras and numerous species of antelope. The scenery in the Serengeti and Ngorongoro area was breathtaking, and through Joel (guide)’s exciting explanations we got to know not only animals, but also culture and everyday life in Tanzania better.

Beach holidays in Zanzibar
After the exciting days in the bush, Zanzibar was the ideal end. The beaches with their white sand and turquoise sea were fantastic. We especially liked the relaxed atmosphere, the delicious food with fresh fish and spices as well as the trips to Stone Town with its markets and narrow streets.

Conclusion
The combination of safari and Zanzibar beach holidays is ideal: first adventure and pure nature, then relaxation by the sea. Tanzania offers both at the highest level – highly recommended for those looking for both action and relaxation

Amazing
5/5

The tour is very interesting. I really liked the Voortrekker Monument, which has a beautiful view, and the lower level displays incredible art. The location is beautiful; the garden in front of the Union Buildings is wonderful, and I found Paul Krugger's house interesting. The Cullinam Mine Crater is simply impressive. The entire tour takes a bit of time, and I suggest bringing some snacks to keep you from getting too hungry until lunch. A thousand points for the guide; he's witty, cheerful, and explains things very well.

Fantastic Safari Experience in Kenya
5/5

The whole trip was perfectly organized by our guide John Walter, blending adventure with comfort. Our guide’s knowledge, timing, and warm personality made every day flow effortlessly, turning each stop into a highlight rather than just another destination.

If you’re dreaming of an authentic Kenyan safari that delivers jaw-dropping wildlife, diverse landscapes, and genuine insight, this is the one to take.

From lions to leopards to cheetahs, Bavuma Wild Quest made sure we saw it all
5/5

We booked our safari with Bavuma Wild Quest very last minute (literally from the plane before takeoff!) and Joshua, the owner, was super responsive and had everything ready for us when we landed in Nairobi. Overall, we had a wonderful trip and saw so many incredible animals, but I also want to share some helpful tips for future travelers.

Our first guide, Chris, picked us up at the airport and he was absolutely amazing—knowledgeable, friendly, talkative, and easy-going. We loved him. The first stop was Masai Mara. Just a heads up: the drive from Nairobi to Masai Mara is long, and if your flight doesn’t land before 8am, it’s pretty much impossible to do a game drive that same day, even though the itinerary made it seem doable. We ended up going straight to our resort as the sun was setting. The resort itself was clean, comfy, and welcoming, though I’d probably choose to stay inside the park next time to avoid the extra driving.

Day 2 in Masai Mara was incredible. Chris got us up close to so many animals, including a cheetah, and he always stopped whenever we were excited about something—which was often! Day 3 was the toughest travel day, with about 9 hours on the road getting into Tanzania and meeting our new guide, Emmanuel. The itinerary made it seem like we’d have more time in the Northern Serengeti that day, but in reality we only got about 2 hours. Thankfully, those 2 hours were magical—we saw amazing wildlife and an unforgettable sunset. The lodge in Northern Serengeti was inside the park and absolutely worth it.

The hot air balloon ride over the Serengeti the next morning was a highlight—highly recommend it. From there, we headed to Central Serengeti, where we spotted a leopard, then later to Ngorongoro Crater. The crater was beautiful, but personally I preferred Masai Mara and Northern Serengeti more.

Overall, we had some hiccups with timing and long drives, but that’s partly the nature of safari travel and partly due to the way the itinerary was presented. The accommodations were great for what we booked, the staff everywhere were friendly, and both of our guides were excellent. If you’re considering Bavuma Wild Quest, I’d definitely recommend them, just go in knowing that travel between parks takes longer than you might expect, and if possible, try to stay inside the parks for more time with the animals.

Sweet and welcoming
5/5

Kilipath connected us to serenghetti tours which was honestly the best trip I've ever had. They were great with communication, always making us feel reassured. Great value for money with the experience and tour guide we had. Day 2 we already decided we wanted to return for a trip during the wet season. They even came to celebrate my partners birthday with us when we arrived im arusha, after our safari trip. Great experience, highly recommend x
