Seamless from start to finish!
Wow! What an experience for our family! We recommend Lion King Adventures without hesitation. From start to finish, everything was seamless. The lodges and tented camps exceeded expectations. Our guide, Hamadi, was incredible. He became part of the family and we wish we could have taken him with us for the rest of our trip! Not only an incredible driver, wildlife spotter and knowledge provider….our 11 year old son asked a new question every 10 seconds for 8 days, and Hamadi answered each one with patience and good humour.
We are so grateful to Lion King Adventures for this trip of a lifetime!

Entertaining and informative
This Africa tour was absolutely incredible! It was both entertaining and deeply informative. Our guide Tinyiko was knowledgeable and passionate, bringing history and culture to life in a way that made every stop meaningful. I left with unforgettable memories and a much deeper appreciation for the region. Highly recommended!

Tinyiko was fantastic, he’s fun, high energy, and has passion for his city.
Tinyiko made our group of 12 feel very safe and comfortable throughout the whole trip! He’s funny and answered whatever questions we had. He also gave all of us free waters in the beginning of every day. He helped us learn more about Johannesburg during the 2 days we were there. I also loved signing his song “Beautiful Africa.”

Great mid-range private safari
We took a 5-day private mid-range lodge tour with Meru Slopes. They took care of everything and we had a great guide Allan who did his best to give us the best possible experience and find as many special animals and interesting spots as possible. The food and rooms at the lodges were great. Highly recommended.

We had an absolute amazing time with creation and nature Safari. The communication and booking beforehand was very clear, and we could adjust the itinerary to our preferences. Pick up was on time and well organised! We hotel we slept in was good, with amazing food from our private chef (all included in the safari!). He cooked diverse breakfast lunch and dinner for us, which was one of the best food I had during our stay here in Tanzania. We visited lake Manyara, Ngorongoro crater en Tarangire park. It was absolutely stunning, 3 different parks with different vegetations and animals, which made it suprising everyday. Special thanks to our guide Morgan, for showing us around and for all the save drives through the busy roads of Tanzania and the parks. Asante sana, we will definitely return!

Deeply personal safari experience from first hello to final goodbye
From the very first text to the final drop-off at the airport, Africa Barefoot Safaris made our Kenyan adventure absolutely seamless and deeply memorable. As a family of three—myself, my wife, and our 9-year-old daughter—we felt cared for every step of the way, and we couldn’t have asked for a better introduction to this incredible country.
A huge shoutout to Prajwal, who runs the company with warmth, precision, and heart. She was incredibly responsive, helpful, and thoughtful throughout the planning and execution of our trip. Everything—from airport pickups to park transfers and lodge bookings—was coordinated like clockwork.
And to Patrick, our guide and now friend, thank you. You made this journey unforgettable. Your calm energy, deep knowledge of the wildlife, and ability to make each moment exciting (especially for our daughter!) brought Kenya alive for us. Within a day, it felt like we’d known you forever.
Our journey included:
• Nairobi - Giraffe Centre & Elephant Orphanage – a magical way to get up close with gentle giants
• Lake Nakuru – the rhinos here were a big highlight, and the landscape was stunning
• Masai Mara – the crown jewel of the trip. We got up close to lions, and even spotted leopards right next to us — my personal favorite moment.
My wife fell in love with the giraffes, especially the ones we saw during a glowing Mara sunset—it felt like something out of a movie.
And as for our daughter—her favorite was the “cute” warthog (yes, one of the Ugly 5!). She decided the warthogs were so adorable, she’s officially created a new category: the Cute 5.
This trip gave us more than just beautiful views and animals—it gave us shared memories, unexpected laughs, and new friendships. We can wholeheartedly say that Africa Barefoot Safaris delivered one of our best vacations yet.
