Booked to stay in the cabins, but on arrival, cabins were in a very poor condition and dirty.
Overall rating
1/5

We were bitterly disappointed with the state, cleanliness and quality of the cabin. I have previously stayed in these cabins when I used to live in eSwatini and cannot remember them being in this state – hence the reason why I was keen to revisit the nature reserve. I appreciate the cabins are supposed to be rustic but they were not clean, very outdated and were lacking basic items:
* Chairs stained and dirty
* Sheets stained
* Limited kitchen items and incomplete cutlery
* Frying pan and single pan greasy (not properly cleaned)
* No glasses or bowls
* No washing up liquid
* Kitchen drawers had mould growing in them
* Bathroom dirty and extremely old
* No chairs to sit outside and no braii facility
We were shown another cabin but this was not much better. We had travelled from overseas and therefore cannot bring basic items with us.

Very relaxed and accommodation very good for the price - clean, comfortable and equipped for the bush experience. Went on one of the game drives - again would recommend.

The most wonderful travel memory in my life
5/5

Before I went on a safari in Kenya, I never thought I would have such an unforgettable travel experience.

Before setting off, I had a long and thorough communication and preparation with muli. Make sure everything is arranged.

After arriving, during the following five days of the journey, our driver and guide Joseph brought us an unforgettable safari trip in kenya.

I have to say that Joseph is a driver with extremely superb driving skills. He drives for at least eight hours every day. He is really amazing. Without using google Maps, he can always find the nearest way at the fastest speed and get close to any animal from the closest distance and the most perfect perspective.

In Kenya, we saw elephants, giraffes, hyenas, cheetahs, leopards, lions, hippos, crocodiles, buffaloes, antelopes, baboons, hyenas, and countless other animals and scenes that can only be seen on the bbc. The only regret is that I didn't get to see the rhinoceros. However, there is no such thing as perfection in this world. Regret is the most perfect.

Joseph is also a professional guide. He even brought an animal encyclopedia on the bus. When we were not familiar with the habits of animals, he would open that book and answer our questions one by one.

He was even very considerate. When we were returning to the airport, he would ask us if we needed to buy some local specialties. So he specially drove for more than half an hour to take us to a local supermarket. We were able to buy very good local specialty goods at a very low price.

Finally, I really want to thank Joseph. He made our journey very relaxing, pleasant and unforgettable. If there is another chance, I will still choose celebrity and Joseph as our guides next time.

Beyond Expectations
5/5

We were a little trepidatious upon landing in Nairobi at 4 am and being new to Africa and a safari adventure. We weren't sure exactly what to expect. Our worries melted away as soon as we saw the welcome sign with our names on it right outside the terminal exit. Our safari guide, Kevin, was there waiting for us and welcomed us to Kenya and off we went! It was indeed a once in a lifetime experience for our family and the expert guide and transportation between the different parks by Beyond the Plains made it truly worry free. Kevin's knowledge of the parks and his relationships with the locals and other operators ensured that we got the best viewings of wildlife. Checked off all the Big Fives and more. Truly beyond expectations!

Very helpful with an extremely good guide (Chief)
5/5

Value for money it was great, and we had a excellent guide in Chief - he knew his stuff and we saw far more animals than what we expected. The only downside would be perhaps having blankets for those very early morning game rides.
The other crew were also great - Blakey, JP and I am sorry but forget the other name.

Flawless Planning, Amazing Guide, and the Trip of a Lifetime
5/5

We had been planning this trip for over a year and contacted hundreds of travel agencies. Pamoja was one of the few that stayed in touch with us from the very beginning. We had lots of ideas and destinations in mind, and it wasn’t easy to fit everything into our limited traveling days, but Regina never let us down. We spent a lot of time discussing the itinerary via email, throughout our countless messages, she always remained patient and provided us with so much helpful information and advice.

As first-time travelers to Africa, even after all our research, we were most worried about running into scams, just like the ones you read about online. But Regina gave us a strong sense of security, she always replied promptly and reminded us of important things to watch out for, she was warm and willing to help. On our first day in Uganda, she even came to the hotel to greet us in person and reconfirm all the details of the trip ahead.

Our original 14-day trip spanned three countries and was supposed to be guided by three different guides, but in the end, Pamoja arranged for Allan to accompany us for the entire journey, which turned out to be the best decision ever.

We met Allan when he picked us up after a short flight to Kisoro. He was polite and reserved at first, shared interesting insights about the landscapes and local culture. He was incredibly attentive, he noticed when we were taking photos from the car and would slow down so we could get the perfect shot. He answered all of our questions with deep knowledge and clarity. When unexpected issues came up, he handled them calmly and efficiently. He remembered all our conversations, even our casual comments and little wishes, and tried his best to meet them whenever possible.

As the days went by, we couldn’t help but grow more and more fond of Allan. Beneath his professional knowledge is a humorous and charming soul. I was delighted to discover that we shared the same taste in music (or at least I like to think so). On the long road trips, we played music through the speaker… well, maybe I forced Allan to listen to my playlist. When we look back on this wonderful journey someday, I believe we’ll both think of the same song. Right, Allan?

What you get to see on safari depends on luck, but thanks to Allan’s sharp eyes, we managed to spot almost every kind of animal (the Big Five were just the beginning). Every encounter with wildlife left me amazed and deeply satisfied. We even completed our “wish list” of animals within the first few days, so for the rest of the game drives, we could sit back, relax, snack, and just enjoy the view.

Oh, and that best sundowner! It’s a memory that will stay with me for a lifetime. I’m so glad I didn’t drink too much that day and could actually remember it!

Every moment and every sight on my first trip to Africa amazed me, it gave me the confidence to keep exploring this unfamiliar continent. And all of this was made possible by Pamoja’s flawless arrangements. Pamoja trully deserves a full five stars—just like Allan. Thank you for making this journey so unforgettable.

A poorly-managed tourism company
2/5

Travelling to the Okavango Delta in Botswana has always been my dream. However, I chose the wrong company. The staff didn't offer us the food prepared by the company and treated us in a very rude way. The camp was very far from the delta. I don't recommend it.

5 Days through Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru and Amboseli
5/5

We had a nice experience in Kenya, our accomodations were lovely, the food was amazing and we saw all the animals we wanted.
I only wish the roads were better because sometimes it gets really unconfortable (the journeys are very long).
