Catered to all our needs
5/5

We had an amazing safari experience. Our 6 days trip included Lake Manyara, Tarangerie, The Serengeti & Ngornogoro crater.
We had a very good guide Andrew who was knowledgeable and took great pains in locating the best spots to view the animals.
We had hot cooked meals for breakfast, and dinner. Our chef Buka who provided the best meals traveled with us.
Jerome who managed the tour was always approachable and cooperative

Fantastic guide, disappointing organisation
3/5

We had a wonderful 7-day safari from Arusha, through Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater and Lake Manyara. It was intense and unforgettable, with too many amazing events and sightings to even begin to list here.

Apart from the magnificent animals and beautiful landscape, the best thing by far about the trip was Hamza, our guide. It would be difficult to imagine a better one: knowledgeable and informative, patient and helpful. He seems to know every inch of the parks, and worked hard to find us every animal we hoped to see, including crocodiles, tree-climbing lions and leopards. Moreover, he is a skilled driver, giving us the gentlest of “African massages” but able to cover long distances over dusty roads without ever making us feel unsafe. Being a guide is a tough job demanding a wide range of skills, and we had an intense schedule. Hamza made it all work beautifully, and always with a cheerful laugh or a little joke. If we return to Tanzania, we will certainly look for him again. Hamza deserves 5 stars.

Unfortunately, our experience with Dancing Simba, the booking company, was far less impressive. Poor communication and disorganised, seat-of-the-pants arrangements led to several problems – including a last-minute lodge change that added hours of driving, and a mishandled hotel booking in Stone Town – that effectively spoiled two full days of a relatively short trip. Along the way, we couldn’t help feeling that some decisions, such as the lodge change, may have reflected Dancing Lions’ own interests more than ours. Taken together with various signs of cost-cutting and disorganisation, this really let down an otherwise extraordinary trip.

In short: Hamza deserves 5 stars — but Dancing Simba only 2. Hence the 3-star rating overall.

Asante sana, Hamza!

Very efficient and great organization
5/5

We did 6 days Safari tour with Meru slope.it was an excellent experience, to begin with, our coordinator Jerome was so helpful, quick response to all our requests , met & sent us off in person, made sure we had a smooth stay. Our guide Andew is very knowledgeable about wild life, he knows where to take us to see the different animals, and position us well with the perfect angle to take pictures, we saw maybe more than 30 differentkinds of animals. He is also very knowledgeable for birds and plantations. The big shout to our cook Buga who made delicious food for us with different menus every day. Our favorite trip was Serengeti park. The Fanaka lodge & tent stay were excellent! We highly recommend to do Safari with Meru slope. And we will come again!

Amazing
5/5

My safari in Nairobi was absolutely unforgettable. Just minutes from the city center, Nairobi National Park offered a rare blend of urban skyline and wild savannah. We spotted lions, giraffes, rhinos, and even a cheetah—all in their natural habitat! Our guide was knowledgeable and made the whole experience exciting and educational. Whether you’re a first-time visitor or a local, this safari is a must-do. Truly a unique adventure right at the doorstep of a bustling city!

Amazing Safari at Ol Pejeta
5/5

We had an amazing time on our Ol Pejeta day trip!

We absolutely loved Ol Pejeta Conservancy — such a beautiful and unique place, and getting to see the wildlife up close was truly unforgettable.

Our driver and guide, David, was exceptional. He went above and beyond to ensure we had the best experience possible — from helping us spot animals to making the whole day feel relaxed and enjoyable. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and incredibly accommodating. We’d definitely recommend him for any future tours!

Skywide tours was a great help with organising and booking everything — we really appreciated how smooth and easy they made the whole process.

Seamless Travel Experience
5/5

My wife and I (party of 2) booked with Yama for a 4 day visit to the Oma Valley with 2 days in Addis Ababa on the back end. We were there late June, early July. This is low season but for us it was the perfect time. Dry, generally cool weather with no mosquitos. Yama arranged for a guide and driver throughout the tour. In Oma valley we visited six villages, each substantially unique and helping us get a picture of rural life in Ethiopia. The villages we went to were clearly used to visitors and derived income from visits, but I never felt like we were going to a “show” village, which had been a concern that I had before the trip. I would say that a visitor needs a full day in Addis Ababa but probably no more than 2 days. For us, this was not a trip to see animals but we saw some baboons, monkeys and small game. Domestic airfare and lodging in towns in the local area (3 different towns) was included and satisfactory.

Fast response to all questions
5/5

Great tour with a great guide, wildlife is not like a zoo but our guide find the right spot in the right moment every day. He pays attention to our necessity and was always available for all requests. His car was well maintained and every day cleaned as possible. He helped us to find animals when we didn't see them and give us more information as he can every time.

An Unforgettable, Thoughtfully Planned Family Adventure
5/5

We can't thank Jairos Adventure enough for helping us create an unforgettable, multi-generational family trip to Tanzania. From start to finish, they were professional, warm, and truly responsive to our needs. They tailored the entire experience with care—accounting for everything from the type of vehicle to thoughtful cultural touches that made the journey uniquely ours.

Our group ranged in age and needs, but the team made sure everyone felt comfortable and included. They were flexible with last-minute schedule adjustments and even coordinated a special surprise—camp staff singing to welcome my father-in-law after he took a needed rest day. It brought him to joyful tears and remains one of our most cherished moments.

This was a bucket-list trip for my in-laws, and seeing them so moved—crying tears of joy—was something we’ll never forget. Thanks to our excellent driver/guide, we saw the full Big 5, the wildebeest migration, and had meaningful cultural encounters. Even when one of our accommodations fell short, the owner of the company personally came to ensure it was addressed properly—something that speaks volumes about their dedication to their clients.

If you’re looking for a company that truly customizes your experience, cares deeply about the details, and treats you like family, look no further. We’re beyond grateful for the memories they helped us create.
