Simply the BEST!
My husband and I had the great pleasure of experiencing a Safari with Tim as as our guide. Tim is extremely knowledgable and very passionate about his work. You can just tell that for him, this is more than just a job. He was so accommodating, so friendly, so efficient. In just a little over a week, we found ourselves considering him as a friend. We plan to return to Kenya for another safari, this time with our grandchildren, and we will do what it takes tom make sure we will once again be in Tim's capable and caring hands! Jambo!

Perfect Tour
It was an indescribable experience. We spent three intense days enjoying the landscapes of the Masai Mara Park, and we saw many animals, such as elephants, lions, leopards, cheetahs, zebras, crocodiles, wildebeests, and buffaloes. Our guide, Nelson, is incredible, excellent driving, knowledgeable about the park, and knows the best trails. He definitely made the experience more complete. Regarding the accommodation: spectacular! The place was beautiful and cozy, the food was delicious, and the staff were super welcoming and attentive. I highly recommend the tour with this company.

Super Eagles provided a great first safari adventure.
We booked a 10 day Kenya and Tanzania safari. Chanson Kimani helped us plan our tour to meet our needs. He was responsive to our many questions and prepared us for our trip. In Kenya, our guide, James Maurwa, was excellent. He answered all of our questions about the many animals and plants we encountered. He had a knack for finding the animals and positioning us in the right place for the best view. He kept us informed about what we were doing each day. In Tanzania, Julius, our guide, and Dixon, our cook were great. Julius was also informative and helpful. Dixon was an excellent cook and we ate the best meals. Our safari was a great introduction to both countries and these people are the reason we made such wonderful memories.

Thamani African Safaris organized everything perfectly for my family. I knew Magreth 15 years ago when she was managing group booking for Tanganyika Expeditions. She has extensive experience in organizing safari in Tanzania and has a huge address book to create a tailormade safari. She selected lodges and guides accordingly to our specifications. We particulary enjoyed visiting the Hazabe and hiking in Olduvai, which are activities i have not seen offered by other tour operators. Our guide Samwel was one of a kind, and very flexible.
Thamani is a 100% Tanzanian team what I appreciated. I was a bit concerned if the rest of the staff would be as professionnal as Magreth but Thamani as a whole was quick at responding at our questions before the trip, and was very helpful during our stay. We had an issue with a lodge that had overbooked our room, and Thamani solved it quickly to find us another room in a lodge nearby for no extra costs. I definitely recommand their services.

Amazing experience
We had an amazing experience on our safari. When I saw how vast the Serengeti is, I thought it would be very difficult to spot animals — but we saw almost all of them! We saw around 20 lions in just two days, some of them incredibly close, which was truly unforgettable.
Our guide, Eliis, was fantastic. At first, he seemed a bit serious, but once he realized he could be part of our group, everything changed. We laughed a lot together, and he shared so much interesting information about the animals. This really shows how adaptable he is — if you just want a quiet driver, he’ll respect that. But we wanted someone to share the experience with us, and he became a great part of it.
The cook was also excellent. The food was tasty, and we always had enough water and even some Coke with our meals.

Tongesai is the BEST guide for a trip to Zimbabwe/Hwange National Park!!
We booked Tongesai / Cultural Vibes Travel & Tours based on recommendations from Safaribookings.com. He is a great communicator, and the booking process was quick, easy, and well organized. We were happy with the quote provided and were able to easily pay online. From there, he communicated the pick-up time and everything we needed to know prior to our trip. The day of transportation to Hwange went smoothly, and the van was very nice for our group. We arrived at Hwange at the scheduled time and went on our first safari of the day. It was epic, memorable, and everything we wanted! We enjoyed a quick lunch and continued our safari through Hwange National Park. From there, we drove back and enjoyed our conversations with Tongesai. Overall, it was an epic trip, with a great guide, and we would highly recommend it for anyone considering a day trip to Hwange. On our next visit, we will definitely be reaching out to Tongesai and hope to book an overnight stay in Hwange, as we wish we could have done more safaris!

An amazing life bucket list adventure! This was always on our list and James’ Sensational Adventures made our dreams a reality. We were assigned in Europe several times but were never able to put this trip together and James was well worth the wait!
First and foremost, I cannot express how important it is to have an exceptional tour guide. If you get the best, everything else on your trip will fall into place. James and Sensational Adventures is this guy and tour group. He is patient, knowledgeable, organized, thoughtful, funny and fun to be around (critical with the amount of car time on Safari:) exceedingly detail driven, meticulous in his planning, extensive networks for all aspects of the trip planning, forward thinking, very flexible and is constantly adjusting to your needs/wants/desires and he has a great team with his driver who not only is an expert experienced driver, but also thoroughly knowledgeable on all aspects of the safari.
He completely tailored and adjusted our itinerary to our goals and continually adjusted to ensure he presented the best experience for us. From day one he provided options and ideas to help create the perfect experience for us. We wanted maximum safari time with a little beach at the end to finish up our adventure and James delivered! From the second we touched down in Kenya, James was standing by and taking care of every detail of our travels. We never had to worry about any detail of our trip. He personally visits all lodging prior to taking clients there and they were all amazing! He never left out any detail to include my birthday celebration(s), bed size choices, room locations, room type (even stayed in a tent) and dining details to include eating a basket lunch under a tree in the park (just like the movie Out of Africa!). All first class!
We opted to reserve the entire vehicle for my wife and I and it was worth every penny! Plenty of space, no complications on daily plans, no rush on the animals we wanted to see and we could stay watching as long as we wanted! We saw too many other tour groups that were climbing all over each other and herded along from point to point; that was the farthest thing from our experience. We saw all big 5 and in the most delightful and personal way without tripping over all the other tour groups. James and our driver knew where and when to go and it paid off every time. James also was very detailed in what we needed to bring and pack and we were ready for all that our trip presented. Another surprise for us was that James has a professional camera and will take amazing shots of your adventure. This in itself is truly priceless and that enabled us to focus on the moment and truly enjoy the experience! He then built us a choregraphed presentation with all that we saw – professional quality!
We maximized our time with 12 days total and hit all of the parks to include an island walking safari that was one of the most unique and amazing experiences that you don’t want to miss. We never hit the wall of ‘too much safari’ and relished every minute and experience. We went in September and felt this to be a great time of the year. Again, James will work his magic to build your dream adventure with what ever amount of time you have available. At the end of our trip we could not express how thankful we were to have booked with James and Sensational Adventures. We shared our itinerary with seasoned safari travelers that to a person were amazed at the selection of parks, hotels, and organization of the days that we had experienced. James is the best of the best and I assure you, you will not be disappointed!

Wonderful safari experience!
We had an amazing 6-day safari with Meru Slopes and we were absolutely satisfied by the professional way everything was carried out.
Almachious organised the trip from the very beginning and gave us a warm welcome in Arusha. Our driver and guide, Dominic, was very polite and knowledgeable about wildlife, we were so lucky to have him! He was there to cover our needs and demands..., always with a smile! He had an eye for hidden animals and tried to find the best location for our photos.
The jeep was clean and tidy every morning, the lunches were such great fun and the total experience is unforgettable. Thank you guys for the wonderful trip ...and keep up the great job!

Unforgettable Tsavo East Safari with Steve!
On July 11th, I had a truly unforgettable one-day safari in Tsavo East with Steve and Solomon. From start to finish, everything was perfectly organized and stress-free — I can wholeheartedly recommend going on safari with Steve!
I found him through great reviews and reached out via WhatsApp. Communication was super smooth, friendly, and professional. We discussed all the details in advance, and Steve patiently answered every question I had.
We started our journey from Diani Beach early in the morning. The drive was safe and very comfortable — no rushing or reckless driving. As we entered the park, Steve asked which animals I was most excited to see, and from that moment, the adventure began! He stays in constant contact with other guides via radio, which really helps to locate the animals in real time.
Steve is not only a great guide, but also a fantastic storyteller — he shared lots of fascinating facts about the animals, the park, and answered all of my questions with enthusiasm and knowledge.
I was lucky enough to see lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, hippos, and many more amazing animals — it was magical!
What really made this safari special was Steve himself. He puts his heart into what he does and goes above and beyond to make sure your experience is unforgettable.
We made a few stops throughout the day, and Steve had everything covered — including a delicious lunch. After the safari, we even visited a Maasai village, which I highly recommend as well.
This day was one of the absolute highlights of my trip — full of emotions, beauty, and unforgettable memories.
