Shamila helped us book everything. She was patient with our many requests and her responses were very prompt. We felt that it was worthwhile to upgrade to the better lodges with indoor bathrooms and stunning views.
Andrew was our tour guide who worked very hard to give us the best possible experiences whether it was to find animals on safari or to get us free foot massages. If there was extra time, he was happy to bring us to other places not on the itinerary. When our flight was delayed, he quickly added another cultural experience to our itinerary. We always felt safe and well taken care of by Andrew. The food was good and we never got sick. Andrew knows everyone and everyone knows Andrew. We were always happy to see his smiling face. He is excellent at spotting and naming birds. Seeing the gorillas, chimpanzees and golden monkeys in the wild were absolutely incredible experiences that should not be missed. We also went on a walking safari in Lake Mburo where you can see many animals close up.

While booking Doninic was on top of everything for our 3 day trip to Tsavo & Amboseli making sure we got the best possible accommodations for our budget.
Our guide Peter was awesome, and all the wonderful conversations we had with him doing the journey was as much a part of our memories as the parks themselves.
In a short timeframe, we really got the whole experience seeing countless amounts of animals, including an unforgettable lion pride hunting a zebra pack.
The accommodations in Tsavo were our favorite from a 3.5 week journey throughout East Africa.

We joined an 8-day private safari with Meektrails, visiting Masai Mara, Lake Naivasha, and Amboseli National Park. Every day was filled with incredible wildlife encounters and stunning landscapes—but what truly made the trip outstanding was our guide Ben.
Ben is not only highly knowledgeable about Kenya’s wildlife, but also a fantastic driver with top-notch off-road skills. He handled every terrain—muddy Mara trails or dusty Amboseli plains—with ease, making us feel safe and comfortable throughout the journey.
What impressed us most was Ben’s ability to spot animals from a distance and his willingness to share detailed explanations about their behavior, habitat, and even individual stories. Thanks to him, we saw elephants bathing, lions resting under trees, and much more—always from a respectful and safe distance.

Gorillas + Hermosa = Once in A Lifetime Experience
Absolutely perfect experience using Hermosa for our 2 day tour of Volcanoes NP!
Communications with Tiamo leading up to our early morning pick-up in Kigali went very smoothly as the itinerary was to get to park in time to meet the gorilla trekkers that same morning.
From the moment we met our driver Muhammed, we knew we were in great hands. Laughing and joking with Muhammed during all the driving was as much a part of the experience as the Gorillas and our crater hike. When we got back to Kigali we enjoyed a Nigerian meal with him as well, and now consider him a friend, amazing guy!
Overall the experience couldn't have been better! We've just completed a month long journey through Rwanda, Uganda, Kenya, and Seychelles, and I can say without hesitation Rwanda was our favorite country! The phenomenal tour with Hermosa was definitely a big part of this.

Amazing Family Safari Thanks to Angel & Ali!
We just wrapped up an incredible 7-day family safari in Tanzania, and it was perfect thanks to Angel at Safari Soles Tours and our guide, Ali.
Angel made planning our trip (the "7-Day Tanzania Safari: Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro & Lake Manyara") super easy, even with kids. She was quick to respond and tailored everything to our family. Her planning took all the stress out of it!
Ali, our guide, was simply the best. He knew everything about the animals and parks, and his sharp eyes meant we saw tons of wildlife, from lions to elephants. He was fantastic with our kids, making every game drive fun and educational. Ali was friendly, drove great, and made sure we were always comfortable and safe. He truly brought Tanzania to life for us.
The itinerary was well-paced, covering Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, and Lake Manyara. Every day was exciting, and the lodges Angel picked were great for families.
