A memorable experience with Almana Africa Safaris
My sister and I took a 3 days trip to Amboseli during the low season this year sometimes back in May. At first we were torn in between going to Masai Mara or Amboseli but we finally settled with Amboseli with the help of Ms Anna from Almana Africa safaris.
She planned the trip for us and made everything so seamless. She made sure that we were comfortable during the safari, our diet restrictions were well taken care off at the lodge we stayed in.
Our driver guide Jimmy was the best, friendly, patient and very knowledgeable about the animals and plants as well.

Jartan was knowledgeable, friendly, respectful, funny, and just plain awesome!!
Our safari was everything and much more than what we expected. If we had questions before the trip Jartan answered them. He even answered a call from us when he was out to dinner! Jartan was really good about making sure our experience was personalized. Jartan was so knowledgeable about the animals and the culture sharing many stories and facts including some personal. We would see something amazing but then wonder what it would be like closer and the next thing we knew it was closer. The drivers were excellent using their skills to get us the best possible views. We had a large family group of 16 and Jartan and the drivers quickly became like one of our own. Besides our amazing animal encounters we got to experience some of the cultures of different tribes. That was so enlightening! The food we had was amazing. So many fresh fruits and vegetables and meat cooked to perfection. Our lodging was so great including our campsites on the Serengeti. An elephant came up to the back of our tent just to eat and check us out. I can’t say enough good things about our experience and people we who guided us. We learned a new game and there is my only complaint. I did not win! This was definitely worth the money and I would do it again in a heartbeat!

Etosha National Park Self-drive tour
Our family trip to Etosha National Park was amazing, and Desert Air Africa Safaris planned a great itinerary for us travelling from Windhoek to Etosha and back. We had a limited about of time, but we were able to see everything we hoped to. We were rented a Toyota Hilux, which was ideal for navigating the bumpy side roads in Etosha, and the dual fuel tank meant we only had to fill up once mid-trip. On the way, we stopped at Mount Etjo Safari Lodge. We really liked the stonework, wood, and tile decor, and the kids saw a hippo on the pond. The food was good, and the carnivore feeding tour and wildlife tour were some of our favorite activities of the trip. Our favorite place we stayed near Etosha was Taleni Etosha Village. The cottages were clean and comfortable, and we all enjoyed the many game options at dinner. Another highlight of our trip was Waterberg Wilderness Lodge. We were only there for one night on the way back to the airport, but we were amazed by the rhino tour there. Etosha National Park was everything we dreamed it would be. If we ever get the opportunity to come back, we definitely will, and this self-drive tour is an ideal way to do it. Highly recommend.

Great, very reliable, smooth experience
We had a great experience with Joseph who drove our family from our safari lodge in madikwe to jnb airport. He was friendly, on time, reliable, and got us to the airport safely. Would recommend booking with safari Link in the future!
