Highly Reliable with the right rates
5/5

This was our first time in Kenya and we booked online without ever meeting them. We are a family of five with three small children, that's why we rarely take chances. However we were surprised that they were very reliable and had excellent repeated communications without us ever asking again first even before and during the trip. Dan was our guide and he was a real expert as we got to see many lions, elephants zebras, a cheeta among others. I would highly recommend families to taken this agency on their safari.

I can’t even begin to describe how amazing our safari experience was with Lion King Adventures and our guide, Goodluck.

We traveled through Tarangire, the Serengeti, Ngorngoro, and Lake Manyara. Each place was uniquely special and spectacular and every single person we met was incredibly kind and welcoming. All of the staff members truly went above and beyond in terms of hospitality and helpfulness. From the office staff that helped us plan our trip and personalize whichever aspects we liked, to the transfer team that picked us up and adjusted to our schedule when our first flight was cancelled, to the lodge staff and finally, our incredible guide, everyone was a pleasure to meet. All of our accommodations were beautiful and the food was very good as well. It was so nice to have everything taken care of including transportation, permits, meals and lodging. Well worth the cost!

We had especially memorable experiences at The Tarangire Simba Lodge, where elephants came and drank right from the saltwater swimming pool and at Nyota Luxury Lodge, where we heard lions, zebras and Cape buffalo right outside our room at night! Thank you Lion King for helping us book these unreal lodge experiences.

Our guide, Goodluck, was highly knowledgeable and a safe, skilled driver even on the most difficult roads. He was helpful, hardworking, good-natured and patient with us, answering all of our questions and always slowing down when he knew there was an animal we found especially interesting or speeding up when he could sense we were ready to move on. He did a wonderful job knowing exactly where to look and finding animals for us - we will never forget the unbelievable encounters that we had, some up close and personal! He even helped us practice our Swahili!

After seeing our photos and hearing about our experience, many of our friends and family now want to go on safari as well! Thank you Lion King Adventures for an awesome and unforgettable experience.

The Lion King Adventure helped making our experience in Tanzania magic!
5/5

We did a customized 5 days safari encompassing Lake Marynara, Ngorogoro Crater and North Serengeti to see The Great Migration.
We flew from Arusha to Lake Marynara. After landing we went on a game safari in Lake Marynara, had a picnic and them our guide drove us to Melia Ngorogoro, that in located on the ring of the crater and has spectacular views of the whole crater. Next day we did a game safari in Ngorogoro Crater (amazing!) and after spending the night in Meliá we flew next morning to North Serengeti (about one hour flight) and that saved a lot of time of time and bumping road.
In North Serengeti we saw millions of gnus, zebras and many lions, cheetahs, crocodiles etc... The horizon is infinite and the landscape is different from what we had seen in the Lake and in the Crater. Serengeti has 14.000 Km2 and it is the size of North Ireland. It is a huge park.
We slept 2 nights in a lodge there, a kind of camping with wi-fi and hot bath. Our wooden tent was super comfortable. Good food, very nice people, good service. The lodge didn´t have fence or any kind of protection. Simple and comfortable. I loved it!
We were a group of 4 people and one of the group had the patient to wait for the river crossing of the gnus. The rest of the group only say millions of gnus crossing the fields and the road. The gnus are in symbiosis with the zebras. One specie (gnus) can smell the enemy and the other (zebra) can see the enemy far away.

Everything was perfect: booking, logistics and execution. All communication had been done by e-mail and registered in one single “long” company e-mail. It worked! It works! Everybody keeps track of the conversations and the changes until the final itinerary and price.
Headquartered in Arusha, I had a conference call with Maria, responsible for planning and booking before closing my Bespoke Itinerary.
Excellent service, excellent vehicles, excellent game guides!

Moses made our trip exciting!
5/5

We are a retired couple, and traveled through Kenya, Tanzania, Tarangire, and Serengeti with Moses adn Goodluck as our private drivers. Our priority was wildlife photography of a variety of animals and landscapes. We were constantly amazed at what we saw and in particular the knowledge and expertise of our Moses and Goodluck, who supplied a very predictable schedule of sightings and experiences. We did daily game drives and also visited conservancies, small towns and a traditional tribal village, a souvenir shop or two, a lake boat ride for photographing water birds, and a hot air balloon ride over the Serengeti. We were changing accommodations on an almost daily basis, and always knew the meal and travel schedules ahead of time which completely took any stress out of the equation. The staff at every location were exceptionally friendly and accommodating. An amazing trip, and our photos are spectacular!

An experience of a life time thanks to Amshar Adventures and their great guide Aloise...
5/5

We have spent 5 days, 2 in Serengeti, 1 in Ngorongoro and 2 in Tarangiri and Lake
Maniara..Since from the first time I have contacted Amshar via email, everything went so perfect..Very quick in all the responses..they tailored the itinerary multiple times according to our requests..the accommodations were extremely satisfactory..spending 2 nights at Kon Tiki Camp was the highlight of our safari along with all the animals we came across..but apart from all, our lovely guide Aloise was a gem..he spent so much effort to make sure that we have an unforgettable experience..A leopard with his prey on a tree, lions chasing gazelles, hyenas, hippos, crocodiles, cheetahs..and many more...he answered all our questions relentlessly...we enjoyed every second of our trip...

Buffalo Safari Camps and my Guide Emma were really great. Excellent organization and Guide.
5/5

I recently (2025) traveled on a four-week road trip in Uganda, organized by Buffalo Safari Camps, visiting several National Parks and Forests. Had a super-fun trip. We focused primarily on the Western parks. Tim (owner of Buffalo Safari Camps) provided excellent pre- and during-trip bookings for accommodations and specialty-activities. My Guide/Driver was Emma, and he was superb every step of the way—an excellent and very careful driver (and mechanic who carries his own tools), navigator, game-spotter, organizer and companion. Emma is a native Ugandan, and is proficient in the various Ugandan languages and seems to know most of the people personally. He is a very experienced professional and respected as one of Uganda’s best overall Guides. Highly recommended.

Everything was great
5/5

We went on a 5-day safari: Mara, Nakuru and Naivasha. The safari was organized at the highest level from start to finish. The company axis africa safari met us halfway, allowing us to pay for the safari on the spot, which was very important for us.
Our guide was Raymond. Throughout the entire time, our guide demonstrated high professionalism and care for all participants. With him, we saw the big five in the first two days, as well as a leopard three times. We completely trusted the guide in all matters and received a sea of impressions from the safari, never worrying about anything else. The program was very rich and interesting, and most importantly, we felt very calm and relaxed.

My guide Laban is the best.
5/5

I can’t praise our guide, Laban Gervas, enough for making our 7-day Tanzania safari an absolute triumph! His sharp, eagle-like eyes caught every flicker of movement—whether it was a lioness stalking in the grass or a distant elephant grazing, he never missed a beat. His commitment to helping us see our must-see animals was unmatched; he tirelessly scouted the best spots without ever rushing the experience. His driving was flawless, maneuvering through the Serengeti’s challenging trails with confidence, always angling the vehicle for the perfect shot. As a photographer, I was blown away by his instinct for lighting and composition—he knew exactly where to position us for those golden-hour captures. His animal instincts were almost supernatural, anticipating migrations with precision. Add to that his vast knowledge of the region’s ecosystems and geography, which enriched every conversation, and his infectious humor kept our group laughing and engaged. His adaptability to changing conditions and genuine care for our group’s enjoyment made him a standout.

The tour operator delivered an outstanding safari experience
5/5

Our guide Laban turned our 7-day Tanzanian safari into the trip of a lifetime! His eagle-eyed spotting skills were incredible, he’d point out giraffe, elephant or hidden serval cats long before we could see them, making every game drive thrilling. He went above and beyond to track down the animals we were most excited to see, always with a contagious enthusiasm. His knack for finding the perfect shooting angles was a game-changer for our group’s amateur photographers. His sixth sense for animal behavior was mind-blowing, and his wealth of knowledge about Tanzania’s wildlife and landscapes made every moment educational and fun. His humor and lively storytelling kept us entertained, even during early mornings or long drives. His passion and professionalism made us feel safe and inspired. I’m already recommending him to everyone I know!
