BEST HOLIDAY EVER
WOW! I honestly can’t describe it any other way. This was truly a dream trip! We travelled with the whole family for two and a half weeks. We started with a city tour and got to experience real life in Nairobi. After that, we spent a full week on safari where we could see all the animals up close. They were completely in their natural habitat, and that was absolutely incredible to witness. All the accommodations were super luxurious, yet still completely connected to nature.
After the safari, we travelled to Mombasa to relax after all the amazing experiences. Even there, we couldn’t resist taking a boat to visit an island and spot dolphins! I would recommend Kipanga Adventures 1000%! The service was fantastic, Jaïr, the owner, made us feel extremely welcome and ensured that we had a trip we will never forget.

Memorable Safari
We are senior citizens from India and Laxa Trails and Safaris organized a trip for us to masai Mara and other national parks from 24 -30 Oct. We will like to compliment the complete staff – Cynthia for continually keeping in touch and organizing comfortable and wonderful lodgings and vegetarian food , Moses for peaceful, no rushed/ hassled driving, and his phenomenal knowledge about the animals; Wesley for being very kind and considerate in helping my wife ( She suffers from severe knee knee pain due to osteoarthritis) in boarding and deboarding from vehicle. Also very special thanks to Wesely for the wonderful photographs of the trip. These photographs shall remain a cherished memory of our Kenya sojourn. Discover the marvels of Ethiopia with a great team
Our trip was amazing. We spent 2 weeks travelling and exploring new places from the North to the South of Ethiopia. Our guides, Mareg (for Addis Abeba) and Abebaw were fantastic: friendly, knowledgeable and at all times committed to making this a wonderful experience. Mareg took us on a fascinating one day tour of Addis which included the Shola market and the spiritual sanctuary on the Entoto Mountains, a marvelous spot of peace and prayer away from the hustle and bustle of the capital.
Our guide Abebaw Tilahun was an amazing one: mediator, interpreter, friend. He was always helpful and introduced us to some great culinary traditions of Ethiopia as well as to the important stories and legends surrounding Lalibela, the role of the Christianity and the beautiful wildlife (marabou storks, hippos, crocodiles, flamingoes, egrets, ostrichs, fish eagles, gelada monkeys, Colombo monkeys, and many more). The accommodation we had was generally good or very good, in some cases quite charming! The information provided by guides and operators were always complete and helpful. Last but not least: our drivers too were great: Atakilt was crucial to make it in time to Bole airport and navigating the busy streets of Addis, Abreraw drove us safely in Bahir Dar and the North, in Lalibela we had the friendly Derebe and for the South the amazing Bekele. I highly recommend Simien Eco Tours to anyone who wants to discover such a great and beautiful country. They have the expertise and great people to make this a truly memorable experience.

Our tour guide, Mr Swahibu did really well. He made sure we were well set up at our hotels before leaving everyday. He even made sure, on the safari, that we saw animals that we individually wanted to see. Even going deep in the jungle if that’s what it took.
