The porters amazed me with their strength and positivity, greeting us at each camp with smiles, hot tea, and everything set up. The meals were fresh, hearty, and beyond what I expected at high altitude.
Summit night was the toughest thing I’ve ever done, but with Samuel and Godson by my side, encouraging me step by step, I made it to Uhuru Peak—one of the proudest moments of my life.
Kili Climb turned a challenging trek into a beautiful, unforgettable experience. I’ll always be grateful to this amazing team.

I took a day trip to Tarangire park from Arusha. My tour guide was Tumain Justin with Safari Soles. He was an amazing driver and guide. He was prompt in his pickup, very friendly, and enthusiastic. He was attentive, took the time to explain points of interest. He had an excellent find of knowledge of the birds, fauna, and animals in the park. He even had a bird species book which he referred to as we saw the unique birds of the park. I appreciated his enthusiasm and kindness. I have nothing but praise for Tumain.

Spirit of Kenya provided the trip of a lifetime!
After reviewing many safari tours and companies, a friend told me about the Spirit of Kenya trip they took in June of '24. She couldn't say enough good things about their experience. Based on her recommendation, I decided to contact them and request the same itinerary my friend had taken. Hugo, our booking agent, couldn't have been more helpful, making small changes requested and answering all of my questions throughout the booking process as well as during the entire trip. There were three of us traveling together (myself, my sister, both in our 60's, and her grown son) we requested three separate beds in one room throughout the trip, which was happily accommodated at all of our lovely hotels/camps.
Upon arrival in Nairobi, we were greeted at the airport by driver, Moses, who was terrific! He made us feel very comfortable from the moment we met him. He spent the entire next day with us while we visited some of the local attractions, including the Sheldrick Wildlife Sanctuary (highly recommend!!), a local bead factory and the Karen Blixen museum. Moses recommended a fabulous place for lunch, Cultiva, which had the best farm-to-table food! Moses was also there to pick us up upon our return at the end of our trip to transfer us across town to Nairobi International Airport for our flight home.
The next morning we were met at our hotel by our guide, Rulo, for our trip to Lake Nakuru and the Masai Mara. From the minute we climbed into his totally outfitted Toyota Land Cruiser (the quintessential safari mode of transportation) we felt like we were in very experienced and capable hands. He told us we would not just be clients/driver, but we would become friends. He couldn't have been more right!
He was extremely professional, knowledgable and accommodating. He made sure that we saw and experienced everything we wanted to, and more. We always felt safe and in good hands with Rulo as our guide.
Kenya itself did not disappoint! Lake Nakuru was the perfect introduction to this beautiful country. Small and accessible it was teeming with wildlife around every turn and gave us a good idea of what was to come on our trip. From there we went on to visit Masai Mara where we spent several days of incredible wildlife sightings across a vast and beautiful landscape.
If you are looking for a safari company who can meet all of your needs, wants and desires for a trip of a lifetime, I highly recommend Spirit of Kenya!

Lambs was the man. He took us to the best places and made us feel safe and secure. He is the best!
This was the best safari we had been on so far and I don't think there would be anyone else who could do a better tour. Mr Lambs crushed it in every way and was so accommodating and a comedian! We did another tour and this one was waaaaay better!!!
