I booked all my trips with Travel Africa Safari and had the best experience. Very professional and made your stay very special always being there making sure we were ok. I went on a 2 - day safari which was unforgettable. My guide Godfrey was a very friendly and knowledgeable guide. Ally was the driver, doing my transfers, a very good driver, friendly and made sure you were safe at all times. I had several day trips in and around Arusha, experienced the local life. I was looked after by guide James, who was extremely good, helpful and reliable and also made that little extra to make your adventure even better. I originally chose Travel Africa Safari for my Marangu trek due to their extremely efficient response to my queries and regular updates during the lead up to the trek and great value for money.
Upon arrival I received an excellent briefing before setting off on my individual trek with my guide Patrick and his crew. I had wondered about trekking alone rather than as a group, however due to the quick pace of the 5 day route, Patrick tailored everything to my individual needs and I’m sure this helped very much to my success and overall feeling of well being throughout my experience!
On such a trek there can always be highs and lows, however Patrick and his crew’s upbeat nature, excellent knowledge of the nature and terrain and attention to detail helped keep me motivated all the way to the summit - and back down again!
Would I choose to trek again with the same crew? Absolutely!

Absolutely Incredible Honeymoon Safari – Flawless from Start to Finish!
We cannot recommend Shanjoy Tours and Safaris highly enough! We booked our honeymoon safari to Kenya and Tanzania just two months in advance, hoping to pull off something truly special—and Shanjoy delivered beyond our expectations.

The transfer to Tanzania was super smooth, and there we met Ledgar, who was a phenomenal guide. He had a real passion for wildlife and even helped us witness a lion hunting—an unforgettable moment.
Our final guide, Richard, was just as kind and knowledgeable. We really appreciated having different guides along the way—they each brought unique perspectives, stories, and deep knowledge, making every part of the trip enriching. On the last day we decided to do something else that wasn't originally planned in the itinerary and they were able to accommodate that request without any issue.
Every single lodge and accommodation Shanjoy booked for us was stunning—thoughtfully chosen, comfortable, and perfectly located.

Great driver and guide!
With Albert it is a great adventure! He is fun to be with and he is also very good in animal spotting!! Go with him to the Serengeti when you want to spot a lot of lions and you will have a wonderful time there! I have been on a safari with Albert several times. It is relaxed, safe and very pleasant.

I visited the Serengeti Park, Ngorongoro, and the Hadzabe tribe with Bush and Forest Explorers. These were thrilling experiences in close contact with nature and local populations, especially with a people who live as hunter-gatherers. The organization was efficient in every aspect.

Fantastically efficient with all our requests and requirements.
Axis were a fantastic expedition company. They were thorough in their preparations of the trip for us. They asked plenty of questions in terms of what we wanted and tried to get the best deal for us. We were on the safari for 4 days, started at Nairobi, Masai Mara, lake Nakuru and Naivasha. Their communication was fantastic as they always got back to us in timely manner. The experience was ethical in terms of respecting the animals’ habitat and the driver was mindful of us being in their territory apart from one particular sighting; we personally felt that the rush of vehicles towards the wilder beasts whilst they were crossing was quite distressful for them. Unfortunately, in that instance, we contributed towards the problem. It would’ve been nice to have viewed the crossing from a distance and thus giving the animals more space. The tour guide was aware that this was a wider issue that the reserve/park faces and he was trying to cater to everyone’s needs in our particular group. Overall, we had an incredible once in a lifetime experience. Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and the amount of animals we saw was incredible and the knowledge of our tour guide was impressive! Would definitely recommend booking through Axis!

Excellent service, great communication and very accommodating for our wishes and needs.
We had a great safari thanks to Clinton in the office and Denis our driver and guide. Better than expected. Being in the Serengeti and seeing the top five, the great migration including wildebeest crossing the Mara River was amazing. Plus we saw many more mammals and birds thanks to Denis and his sharp eyes. He was an encyclopedia of knowledge and fun to be with. Thank you Ozon Light Tours for amazing safari.

Excellent trip!
This was my first trip to Tanzania, and I did extensive preparation from the very beginning when searching for a travel agency. I contacted and emailed numerous agencies, and ultimately chose this one, which proved to be the best choice. They provide a complete cost breakdown, clearly showing every expense, and their margins are transparent. For a comparable trip, the cost was the lowest, yet the service was exceptional. Thanks to the Chinese-speaking customer service, everything went smoothly. From itinerary planning and hotel selection to pre-trip preparations and the immediate response to any issues we encountered, they were exceptional. We spent three days on Zang Island and five nights in the Serengeti. We saw a wealth of animals and were completely satisfied with our trip. Most importantly, during my ten-day trip, I observed many travel agencies' vehicles. Ours was definitely among the best in terms of comfort, cleanliness, and amenities. With long daily car rides on the savannah, vehicle condition is crucial. I highly recommend this travel agency, especially for Chinese tourists like me. There's no domestic travel agency taking advantage of price differences, and the Chinese-speaking customer service representatives have actually been there. Finally, I would like to celebrate the successful completion of my trip to Tanzania again. I hope to come again next time!

We took a private 7 day tour covering four national parks, including the Ngorongoro Crater and the Serengeti. From start to finish, the trip was absolutely incredible. Heavenlight was fantastic, she helped tailor our itinerary to match exactly what we wanted, and her communication throughout the planning process was excellent, making everything smooth and stress free.
Our guide, Meddy, was exceptional. He had a relaxed, flexible approach that allowed us to structure each day to our preferences. We saw an incredible variety of wildlife, far more than I expected, and often from just a few meters away.
The accommodations exceeded all expectations, there was even a spa in the heart of the Serengeti. Truly unforgettable!

Excellent safari, well planned, had a great time
Our week long safari with David from Migration Venture Africa was great. We saw lots of animals across several different parks. The accommodation arranged for us was brilliant, all had comfy beds, food was delicious, the staff were all friendly and helpful.
David was a brilliant guide and driver, definitely has a lot of local knowledge which was invaluable throughout the week to navigate the inevitable bumps along the way, and giving us lots of information along the way. Even when there were issues with the vehicle he knew where to go to get it fixed and in our way very quickly. The environment and roads you tavel on are very demanding on the vehicles so its not uncommon for the occasional issue with the vehicles and having a knowledgeable driver/guide is so important, and David made sure our trip carried on and we could really enjoy ourselves. He even stopped to help out another driver (with passengers) who was stuck in a fairly remote area of the serengeti, which was really good of him (it only took a few minutes to get them going so was no imposition on us).
I would definitely recommend Migration Venture Africa, and David, for others looking for a fun safari with a top notch guide/driver.
